EXERCISE DEVICE
Provided is an exercise device including a planar support surface and a rolling joint which is configured to enable a 360° range of motion for the exercise device. In this regard, the user may roll the exercise device along a planar surface in a forward-and-backward motion, a side-to-side motion, or in an arcuate or circular motion.
Device for muscles and balance development
Disclosed is a device for exercising muscles and balance including a board with a support surface to accommodate at least one person performing a physical exercise, a static support structure, a suspension between the static structure and the board adapted to maintain this latter suspended and raised off the ground and first actuator of the suspension mounted on the static structure, in which the suspension includes elongated flexible elements with a first end connected to the first actuator and a second opposite end connected to the board, the actuator being controllable by a control unit adapted to generate a sequence of activation and deactivation signals to move the suspension and, therefore, to vary the height or the tilt of the board or both.
Footwear Having Sensor System
A sensor system includes an airbag engaged with the sole structure of an article of footwear, the airbag configured to compress and expand during use of the article of footwear, a force sensor engaged with the airbag and configured to detect force on the airbag based on changes in capacitance as the airbag compresses and expands, a port connected to the article of footwear and configured for communication with an electronic module, and one or more conductive leads extending from the force sensor to the port to place the force sensor in communication with the port. The system may be used with an article of footwear including an upper member at least partially defining a foot-receiving chamber and a sole structure engaged with the upper member.
Portable Exercise Bar
A portable exercise bar is provided. The bar is particularly suited to individuals wishing to obtain balance and positional support during an exercise routine, especially routines involving the lifting and balancing of the user's legs. The bar is useful for practicing ballet and dance moves in temporary environments where there is a door that can be used for supporting the device. Thus, the bar is configured for secure, yet removeable, attachment to a common door. Further, the exercise bar of the present invention is lightweight and can be conveniently packed for modern travel needs.
TWIRL TRAINING DEVICE
A twirl training device that is a mold that has a top and a bottom side. The top side receives the foot of a user. A front part of the top side of the mold receive the ball of the foot of the user. A middle part of the top side of the mold defines an instep that rises at an angle from about thirty degree to about 45 degree from the front part of the top side of the mold. The rear part of the top side is a heel portion. The bottom side of the mold has a front portion, a middle portion and a rear portion, the front and middle portion of the bottom side slope upward from the rear portion of the bottom side. The heel portion of the top side and the rear portion of the bottom side are parallel. The twirl training device has a width that is at least two and half inches.
Balancing exercise rod apparatus
A balancing exercise rod apparatus for working out while walking or jogging includes a grip bar having a left end and a right end. A pair of wheels is coupled to the grip bar. The pair of wheels includes a left wheel and a right wheel rotatably coupled to the left end and the right end of the grip bar, respectively. Each of the wheels has a hub rotatably coupled to the grip bar, a plurality of spokes extending from the hub, and a rim portion. The rim portion has an inner side, an outer side, an interior face, and an exterior face. The plurality of spokes extends from the hub to the interior face. A plurality of wheel weights is coupled to the pair of wheels. The plurality of wheel weights is coupled within the rim portion.
Isometric system and method of achieving physical health
The present specification discloses an exercise system comprising a stable support purchase, such as a ballet barre, and an unstable support apparatus, such as a ball or a roller, wherein an individual may support a limb on the unstable support apparatus and selectively contact the stable support purchase for balance while performing an exercise, such as a ballet position, and an associated method comprising the steps of positioning at least one limb on the unstable support apparatus and simultaneously performing the exercise.
PHYSICAL THERAPY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
An apparatus and method for physical therapy includes a base structure, a roller table positioned on the base structure including a plurality of free motion rollers, at least one motor and/or and at least one air compressor connected to the base structure, a plurality of powered rollers or a contact plate located within the base structure being in contact with the plurality of free motion rollers, at least one pneumatic block with a pneumatic piston connected to the at least one air compressor and being configured to raise and lower the power rollers and/or the contact plate, a load cell in communication with the apparatus being configured to measure and record a patient's response to the transition of the roller table and/or the contact plate, and a programmable logic controller.
Method and apparatus for bi-directional ankle exercise
Apparatus for bi-directional ankle exercise movements has a main frame with a seat and upwardly extending columns at either side to support a “U” shaped sub-frame, mounted so that it pivots about a horizontal axis passing very nearly through the ankles of a seated user and interconnecting linkages simultaneously enforcing ankle inversion, with plantarflexion and then ankle aversion, with dorsiflexion, about perpendicularly intersecting axes, while resisting such movements, so as to provide bidirectional ankle exercises according to a progressive resistance program, thus strengthening the ankle muscle groups for enhanced balance and dynamic stability.
Modular Activity Board
An apparatus for receiving one or more activity attachments including a deck having one or more openings along a long axis of the deck and between the top surface and the bottom surface of the deck. Each of the one or more openings having a circular aperture for receiving an accessory of a set of accessories. Each accessory of the set of accessories providing an activity for a user of the activity. Each accessory having an attachment platform configured to attach the accessory to the board. The attachment platform having a locking mechanism to engaging with a complementary locking mechanism of the board.
