The driving/braking request is distributed to the at least one of the powertrain system and the brake system based on the acquired driving force lower limit.

The invention relates to a method for propelling a vehicle comprising a first power source being an internal combustion engine and a second power source comprising at least one electrical machine. The vehicle is configured to be selectively driven according to a first mode and a second mode, wherein said second mode is prioritized more in relation to fuel efficiency of said vehicle than said first mode. When a maximum power for propelling said vehicle is requested, power delivered by said first power source and said second power source is controlled such that the total power delivered by said first and said second power source exceeds the maximum deliverable power of said first power source. The total power delivered by said first and said second power source is allowed to exceed the maximum deliverable power of said first power source when said vehicle is driven according to said second mode.

ECO-FRIENDLY VEHICLE AND METHOD OF SUPPORTING AUDIO INPUT/OUTPUT FOR THE SAME

The present disclosure relates to an eco-friendly vehicle in which powertrain noise may be controlled such that voice command recognition of the vehicle control system may be improved and also audio guidance therefrom may be better recognized by a driver, and a method for supporting audio input/output for the same. A method of supporting audio input/output for an eco-friendly vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes determining whether a first condition for audio input/output function and a second condition for inside noise level are satisfied; and performing a noise reduction control by changing an operating point of a driving power source based on a current drive mode, in case where the first and the second conditions are satisfied.

Autonomous dock

An autonomous dock system for a vehicle, comprises a control system with instructions comprising steps for receiving a request to implement an autonomous dock routine. A vehicle speed and clutch position are calculated. A clutch position controller is commanded to maintain the calculated clutch position. An actual torque amount is iteratively detected as transferred across the clutch. A vehicle speed-control mechanism is commanded to maintain the calculated vehicle speed, and the actual vehicle speed is iteratively detected. When comparing the commanded vehicle speed to the detected actual vehicle speed indicates that the detected actual vehicle speed is below a speed threshold, and when the actual torque amount transferred across the clutch exceeds a torque threshold, the control system commands an increase in vehicle speed.

REMOTE PARKING CONTROL SYSTEM AND FAIL-SAFE METHOD THEREOF

A remote parking control system and a fail-safe method thereof may include at least one controller and a remote parking control apparatus that performs braking control according to motor reverse torque control and transmission stage control, when a braking controller among the at least one controller fails, upon remote parking control.

Hybrid vehicle

In a hybrid vehicle, when a required driving force is equal to or smaller than a first upper limit driving force, a control device sets a target driving force to the required driving force. When the required driving force is larger than the first upper limit driving force, the control device sets a target compensation power of a power storage device, based on a difference between the required driving force and the first upper limit driving force. The control device sets a second upper limit driving force of a driveshaft when an upper limit power is output from an engine and the power storage device is charged or discharged with a power based on the target compensation power. The control device sets a target driving force to the smaller between the required driving force and the second upper limit driving force. This configuration suppresses deterioration of the driver's drive feeling.

Drive control system for hybrid vehicle

A drive control system for a hybrid vehicle configured to prevent backward coasting on an uphill grade even when an engine torque cannot be delivered to drive wheels. When the hybrid vehicle is propelled by delivering engine torque to rear wheels on an uphill grade, the drive control system determines an occurrence of a failure in which the torque cannot be delivered from the engine to the rear wheels. If the occurrence of the failure is determined, the drive control system executes a hill hold control to deliver torque to establish a required drive force from a motor to front wheels while disengaging an engagement device.

VEHICLE DRIVE DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

It is determined whether fuel efficiency of a vehicle is improved by operating a first rotating machine to generate electricity to such an extent that an electrical path amount becomes a desired electrical path amount for controlling an operating point of an engine to a desired operating point and driving and operating a second rotating machine as a second power source, the electrical path amount being a magnitude of electric power in an electrical path through which the electric power is transferred between the first rotating machine and the second rotating machine. When the electronic control device determines that the fuel efficiency of the vehicle is improved, the first rotating machine is operated to generate electricity to such an extent that the electrical path amount becomes the desired electrical path amount and the second rotating machine is driven and operated as the second power source.
