CONTROLLER FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE

An electronic control unit permits a shift operation to a neutral position, by which a manual transmission 14 is switched to neutral, during coasting control. Accordingly, shifting to the neutral position can be performed only by the shift operation. Thus, power transmission can be blocked after termination of the coasting control. In addition, the electronic control unit prohibits the shift operation to a particular gear after the transmission is switched to neutral. Thus, overreving or underreving at the termination of the coasting control can be suppressed.

Hybrid vehicle

In response to a DN operation that changes a shift position SP from a D position to an N position during forward drive in an HV drive mode, then an accelerator position Acc is not less than a reference accelerator position Aref (step S130), a mechanical neutral control is performed to provide a neutral state by releasing transmission of power between an intermediate shaft 32 and a driveshaft 36 by a multi-speed transmission 60 (step S230). An engine and two motors are then controlled to be rotated at rotation speeds close to rotation speeds Nedn, Nm1dn and Nm2dn at the time of DN operation (steps S250, S270 and S280).

20220176937 · 2022-06-09 ·

A control method for a hybrid power system. The method is applied to a hybrid power system composed of an engine (10) and a motor (20). A motor stator (21) of the motor (20) is connected to a driving shaft (40) of a motor vehicle by means of a transmission mechanism (32) such that, when rotated, the driving shaft (40) drives the motor stator (21) to rotate; the motor (20) is used to determine output torque according to the rotating speed of the motor and transmit same to the driving shaft (40); the rotating speed of the motor is equal to the difference between the rotating speed of the motor rotor (22) and the rotating speed of the motor stator (21). The method comprises, according to operating parameters of the hybrid power system and operating parameters of the motor vehicle, controlling a motor controller to provide a drive signal to the motor stator such that the operating parameters of the motor meet a first preset formula, thereby avoiding the possibility of the motor operating at zero rotating speed or within a low rotating speed range under various operating conditions, avoiding the occurrence of problems with the motor such as efficiency and torque response being poor under such operating states, and improving user experience. Also provided is a control system for achieving a control method for a hybrid power system.

CRUISE CONTROL METHOD FOR MANUAL TRANSMISSION VEHICLE AND CRUISE CONTROL APPARATUS APPLIED TO THE SAME
20220001864 · 2022-01-06 ·

In a cruise control method and a cruise control apparatus for a manual transmission vehicle, upon receiving a signal from an input device to start a cruise mode, a cruise control controller calculates an optimal gear stage for satisfying a target cruise traveling speed according to a traveling state of a vehicle, and a display device displays the calculated optimal gear stage to the driver to induce the driver to shift to the optimal gear stage. In addition, whether the gear stage by the driver's operation has matched the optimal gear stage may be determined within a predetermined time to determine whether a cruise control continues according to the determination result, thereby eliminating the driver's inconvenience due to frequent cancellation of the cruise mode.

Longitudinal control feedback compensation during brake-to-steer

A number of illustrative variations may include a system including brake-to-steer algorithms may achieve lateral control of a vehicle without longitudinal compensation but may also force a vehicle to slow down too rapidly before appropriate lateral movement can be achieved and may deliver an unnatural driving experience for vehicle occupants. A more natural feeling deceleration may be achieved by optimally selecting appropriate transmission shifts to allow for optimal engine speed or electric motor speed and torque based on current vehicle speed thereby reducing undesirably longitudinal disturbance.
