Golf ball having core composed of a highly neutralized polymer
A golf ball comprising a core composed of a fully neutralized polymer material is disclosed herein. The golf ball also preferably has multiple mantle layers and a cover.
Golf ball dimple surface
Golf ball dimples having a surface defined by a mode, or a weighted superposition of multiple modes, of oscillation of a circular membrane are disclosed.
WEIGHTED ARTICLE WITH DUST IMPERVIOUS SEAMING
An article (600) is provided which includes a body (500) having an interior volume (100), and hook (124) and loop (125) features which, when pressed closed in at least one locations (130, 131) location, creates a dynamic hammock dam (132) that retains a fill material (140) that has been inserted into the interior volume. The strength of the hammock dam increases with outward pressure (141) applied on the closure by the fill material. The article is preferably equipped with a large mouth opening (110) which allows rapid filling or emptying of the fill material from the internal volume.
Orbiting bob toy with bobs having pellet-filled equatorial bags
A toy having three bobs on a string where the middle bob slides. A low moment of inertia of the middle bob is desirable because it minimizes tangling of the string about the middle bob and produces smooth, tactile-appealing orbits. Each bob has a pair of mated throughbore pieces sandwiching a central metal weight and an equatorial bag stuffed with low-density pellets. Concave sections (in profile on a plane along the polar axis) of the throughbore occupy a substantial portion of the length of the throughbore to take best advantage of the torques produced by the string by focusing the tension of the string at the mouths of the throughbore. The concave sections also reduce the volume occupied by the bag, thereby reducing moment of inertia. Additionally, hollows in the concave regions of the throughbore pieces further reduce the moment of inertia.

Golf ball fabrication method
A golf ball fabrication method comprises Step a: providing a core; Step b: spraying a thin resin film on the surface of the core to form a conductive layer; Step c: vacuum-electroplating the surface of the core to form a glossy thin metallic film functioning as a reflective layer; and Step d: encapsulating the glossy thin metallic film with a transparent resin layer in an injection-molding technology to form a transparent outer layer of the golf ball. The method can fabricate in a simple way a golf ball having a superior reflective effect and a long service life simultaneously.
