A display device is mounted on a vehicle. METHOD FOR ENHANCING INTERIOR DISPLAY READABILITY IN MOTORIZED OBJECTS AND SYSTEM THEREFOR
A method for improving readability of a display inside a motorized object comprises applying a polarization means on a side window of a motorized object, wherein an ambient incident light ray comes through the side window and is reflected by a surface of a display inside the motorized object to form a reflected light ray, and substantially filtering out display incident light S-polarization and allowing display incident light P-polarization to pass through. The polarization means has a linear polarization reflecting or absorbing direction that is substantially parallel to the plane of the surface of the display. A display readability enhancing system comprises the polarization means. When ambient light passes through the window and shines onto the interior display, the dominant light polarization is p-polarization for the interior display with minimum surface reflectivity upon reflecting from the interior display, resulting in good display visibility under strong ambient light conditions.
Smart display sheets
A system includes a vehicle and a smart display sheet adhered to a component of the vehicle or integrally formed into a component of the vehicle, wherein the flexible smart display sheet is capable of displaying at least one image. The system may further include a substrate layer, a display panel disposed on the substrate layer, wherein the display panel is capable of displaying the at least one image, and a protective layer disposed on the display panel capable of protecting the at least one display panel from environmental elements. The system may further include an adhesive or magnetic layer that adheres the smart display sheet to the component of the vehicle.
Composite wheel construction apparatus and method
A composite wheel structure includes a single continuous fiber reinforcement layer extending axially between inner and outer ends of the wheel structure. The single fiber reinforcement layer is impregnated with different matrix materials at different axial portions of the reinforcement layer to account for specific locations where high strength or high temperature performance is needed, with other portions having different matrix materials where low temperature performance and/or low strength is sufficient. The matrix materials may be provided as separate resin films that are applied side-by-side on the single reinforcement layer, or they may be provided on a single resin film. The matrix materials may be applied to the reinforcement layer in a direct coating process. The reinforcement layer may be prepregged with the matrix materials prior to a wheel layup process, or the reinforcement layer and matrix materials may be consolidated by resin film infusion during the wheel layup process.

The operating device is designed to cover the compartment. The sensor may be a microphone or a camera, and the system may include voice or image processing as part of the control logic. A redundancy is used by using multiple sensors or actuators, or by using multiple data paths over the building or vehicle internal or external communication. The networks may be wired or wireless, and may be BAN, PAN, LAN, WAN, or home networks.

Aeronautical car and associated features
An aeronautical car includes a ground-travel system including a drivetrain; an air-travel system including a detachable portion configured to house a propulsion device configured to provide thrust and to be driven by the drivetrain when the detachable portion is connected to the aeronautical car, and at least one flight mechanism configured to provide lift once the aeronautical car is in motion; and a weather manipulation device. The weather manipulation device may be configured to manipulate at least one aspect of a weather condition while the aeronautical car is in the air.

A display device includes an electronic control unit configured to: obtain a traveling plan from an automatic driving system of a vehicle, the traveling plan including a course of the vehicle under automatic drive control of the automatic driving system; obtain, from the automatic driving system, a system confidence level of the automatic drive control calculated based on at least an external environment around the vehicle; and display, on a display, a pointer as an image indicating the course during the automatic drive control in a display mode set based on the system confidence level.
