The control signals may be used to operate the autonomous lawn mower to perform a task such that, when later detached or otherwise decoupled, the autonomous lawn mower may perform the same or similar tasks substantially autonomously based on data (e.g., sensor signals, control signals, etc.), generated during manual operation. In some examples, the control signals may be determined to aid a user in maintaining a straight mow, proximity to a desired pattern for mowing, and/or be otherwise altered based on the presence of a user.

A system and method of capacitance management in an agricultural vehicle and connected implement, wherein the vehicle and implement have a plurality of electric drives connected to a common connection and connectable to a direct current supply, and each electric drive has an associated Y capacitor between each direct current supply connection and the common connection, wherein the method includes receiving and summing capacitance values for each of the electric drives and comparing with a stored threshold value. If the threshold value is exceeded, a sequence of selective disconnections of individual electric drives is performed until the sum of the received capacitance values is less than or equal to the threshold value. The method may be performed manually, or automatically based on a sequence defined in a priority list until the sum of the received capacitance values is less than or equal to the threshold value.

A bi-directional drive assembly for a work vehicle has a reaction member fixed with respect to or a part of a drive housing. A driveshaft is rotatable about a drive axis relative to the reaction member in a first rotation direction and alternatively in a second rotation direction. A planetary set is coupled to the drive shaft and configured to rotate an output hub in the first or second rotation direction. A clutch assembly is coupled to the reaction member and includes a first clutch and a second clutch. The first clutch is configured to interface the planetary set with the reaction member to effect a first rotation speed of the output hub in the first rotation direction and alternatively the second rotation direction. The second clutch is configured to interface the planetary set with the reaction member to effect a second rotation speed of the output hub in the first rotation direction and alternatively the second rotation direction. An actuator arrangement is configured to effect movement of the first clutch and the second clutch along the drive axis to selectively engage the planetary set.

In one aspect of the invention there is provided a gauge wheel for use on cultivation equipment comprising a hub member having a central bearing portion for mounting to the cultivation equipment; a peripheral flange portion displaced laterally with respect to the hub member; and a resilient coil member mounted to a surface of the hub member at a proximal end and comprising at least two windings that extend between the hub member and the peripheral flange portion to terminate at a free distal end adjacent the peripheral flange portion; wherein the free distal end of the resilient coil member is constrained to prevent contact of the resilient coil member with the peripheral flange portion.

A transmission includes at least one primary transmission unit. The at least one primary transmission unit includes an input shaft having a first rotation axis, an output shaft having a second rotation axis, and a first layshaft having a third rotation axis. The first rotation axis lies in a first plane, the second rotation axis lies in a second plane, and the third rotation axis lies in a third plane. In order to be able to supply the traction drive on the one hand and the working unit (210) on the other hand with the energy required in each case independently of one another in a purely electrically driven vehicle (200), in particular a self-travelling working machine (200), a fully electric drive unit (100) is provided which supplies both, with a planetary gear unit (1) which is driven by two separately controllable electric machines (E1, E2) and thus, considered on its own, acts as a summing gear.

Because of an additional power output (NA1), which is coupled to one of the two E-machines (E1) and/or the corresponding drive input into the planetary gear (1) with a fixed transmission ratio, the working unit (210) can be supplied via this power output (NA1), while the speed of the traction drive is independently controlled via the differential speed between the sun gear (2) and the ring gear (3), which are driven by the two E-machines (E1, E2).

The sum of the planetary gear and the power output (NA1) thus acts primarily as a power divider gear.
