Stackable container assembly
A stackable container assembly having a base container with a container body having a bottom surface being configured for connecting the base container to a vehicle; and an anchor connected to the container body and being configured for inserting into a vehicle anchor fixture, the anchor including an anchor base being connected to the bottom surface of the container body; and an anchor lock extending from the anchor base; and an accessory container including an accessory body having an accessory bottom surface for selectively connecting the accessory container to one of the top surface of the base container and the vehicle such that the accessory container is arranged in one of stacked on top of the base container, and directly connected to the vehicle, the accessory container using a same connection arrangement for connecting to the one of the base container and the vehicle.
Fully adjustable air deflector system for snow plow blades
A fully adjustable system is provided for reducing overheating of engines caused by the blockage of air flow by snow plow blades. One embodiment mountable onto blades of a split V-plow includes two elongated deflectors, two T-shaped mounting brackets, and a U-shaped slide bracket. When the system is assembled, the base plates are slidable in a direction parallel to the blade before the fasteners are tightened, the deflectors are slidable relative to the slide bracket in a direction parallel to the blade before the fasteners are tightened, the deflectors are slidable in a direction perpendicular to the blade before the fasteners are tightened, and the deflectors are angularly rotatable relative to a top lip of the blade.
Snowmobile
A snowmobile includes a chassis comprising a bulkhead and a tunnel, a front suspension coupled to bulkhead, a rear suspension coupled to the tunnel, and slide rails coupled to the rear suspension.
Snowmobile
A snowmobile includes a chassis comprising a bulkhead and a tunnel, a front suspension coupled to bulkhead, a rear suspension coupled to the tunnel, and slide rails coupled to the rear suspension. The rear suspension includes a toggle link pivotally coupled to the tunnel at a first pivot coupling, and a rear control arm coupled between the slide rails and the toggle link. The toggle link is pivotally coupled to the rear control arm at a second pivot coupling. The rear suspension also includes a carrier roller coupled to the toggle link. The toggle link is movable to a plurality of positions relative to the toggle link to vary the dynamics of the vehicle propulsion.
Shaft and actuator for retractable snowmobile ski wheel system and method of using the same
The present invention provides a retractable wheel system for snowmobile skis. The retractable wheel system of the present invention may be installed on a snowmobile ski without affecting its structural integrity by installing the system on the reinforced portion of the snowmobile ski. When a user circulates in a path with little or no snow, the retractable wheel system is positioned in the extended configuration by the user and the system will automatically return to the retracted configuration when the user returns in a snowy zone. This is realized by using a pre-tensioned spring that will reposition the wheel in the retracted configuration. The spring transmits a rotational movement to the member on which the wheel is fixed.
SPACERS FOR MOUNTING A BATTERY PACK TO A SUBFRAME OF AN ELECTRIC SNOWMOBILE
An electric snowmobile has a frame. The frame has a tunnel; a subframe connected to the tunnel and having first and second sides; and first and second spacers connected the first and second sides respectively. The snowmobile also has a seat; at least one ski a drive track disposed at least in part under the tunnel; an electric motor supported by the frame, the electric motor being operatively connected to the drive track; and a battery pack electrically connected to the electric motor, the battery pack being disposed at least in part in the subframe. The first spacer is disposed between the first side of the subframe and the battery pack. The second spacer is disposed between the second side of the subframe and the battery pack. The first and second spacers connect the battery pack to the first and second sides of the subframe respectively.
STACKABLE CONTAINER ASSEMBLY
A stackable container assembly and vehicle having a stackable container assembly. The assembly includes a first pair of vehicle anchor fixtures; a second pair of vehicle anchor fixtures, a base container for selectively connecting to the first and second pairs of vehicle anchor fixtures; and an accessory container for selectively connecting to the base container and the first and second pairs of vehicle anchor fixtures. When connected to the vehicle, anchor fixtures of the first pair of vehicle anchor fixtures HAVE a separation therebetween equal to a separation between anchor fixtures of second pair of vehicle anchor fixtures, the base container being selectively connected to one of the first pair of vehicle anchor fixtures and the second pair of vehicle anchor fixtures, and the accessory container being selectively connected to the base container or the other one of the first and second pairs of vehicle anchor fixtures.
SNOWMOBILE
A snowmobile includes a chassis comprising a bulkhead and a tunnel, a front suspension coupled to bulkhead, a rear suspension coupled to the tunnel, and slide rails coupled to the rear suspension.
Snowmobile throttle control system
A snowmobile throttle control system comprises a throttle block with a throttle thumb lever pivotally connected thereto, the throttle block clamped to a snowmobile handlebar next to a right hand grip. The hand grip and/or thumb lever having electric heaters. The configuration of the throttle block and thumb lever reducing issues associated with snow and or ice buildup between the two during operation of the throttle control system by vertically and horizontally spacing respective confronting portions of each, effecting shear forces on any such ice or snow between the two, and by minimizing heat transfer between the handlebar and throttle block by reducing the contact between clamping surfaces of the throttle block engaging the handlebar thereby minimizing melting and freezing of the snow and ice at the throttle control system. The thumb lever and throttle block providing integrated securement structure for wires associated with the electric heaters.
System and method for operating an electric vehicle in varying operating conditions
Systems and methods are provided to allow a temporary power boost beyond a restricted power output associated with a restricted operating mode of an electric vehicle to be provided to accommodate challenging operating conditions. A method includes, when the electric vehicle is in the restricted operating mode, receiving an operator propulsion command equal to or exceeding a propulsion command threshold. The powertrain of the electric vehicle is commanded to generate a first power output corresponding to the operator propulsion command where the first power output is lower than or equal to the restricted power output. When the operator propulsion command is equal to or exceeding the propulsion command threshold and the actual speed of the electric vehicle is below a speed threshold, the powertrain of the electric vehicle is commanded to generate a second power output exceeding the restricted power output in response to the operator propulsion command.
