Piston head assembly for radio controlled cars shock absorber and method
10041560 · 2018-08-07 ·

An apparatus and method for a piston head assembly for an R/C car shock absorber provides for differing flow rates through the piston depending on whether the piston is presently in rebound or compression movement. A piston head may be constructed with a plurality of separate recesses further having at least first and second one way valve holes and a plurality of two way valve holes surrounding the central recess. In one embodiment, two sealing members fit within two separate recesses whereby the sealing member keeps the first and second one way valve holes generally closed. When fluid flow contacts the sealing member during the rebound stroke, fluid flows through the first and second one way valve holes moves the seal member to the open position thereby providing more fluid flow and a quicker rebound damping response.

BEAD LOCK SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Embodiments disclosed herein describe systems and methods for a bead lock wheel line in scaled vehicles. The bead lock wheel line may include a wheel center section and a bead lock ring. The bead lock ring may be configured to be overlaid on the wheel center section, wherein screws may be inserted through orifices positioned within the bead lock ring and into orifices positioned on the wheel center section.

Personal Mobility Device
20180162478 · 2018-06-14 ·

The present invention is a personal mobility device having multiple modes of operation, including a deck, and a first and second wheel assembly, and at least one battery powered electric motor, and actuation means. The deck includes an elongate substantially flat body, and each wheel assembly is attached to the deck in the vicinity of a respective end of the elongate body. The respective axle of each wheel assembly is located upon the plane of the deck. The at least one battery powered electric motor is adapted to be actuated via the actuation means when a user steps onto the deck, and adapted to drive the first and second wheel assemblies, and wherein in the first mode of operation, both the first and second wheel assemblies are adapted to roll in a circumferential direction, predominately under the influence of the at least one electric motor, so that the device moves in an orthogonal direction to the longitudinal axis of the deck, and wherein in a second mode of operation, both the first and second wheel assemblies are also adapted to optionally free-roll in an orthogonal direction to the plane of the wheel assembly, thereby allowing the device to move substantially in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the deck. There is a transitional mode of operation, where the device is capable of continuously and smoothly transitioning between the first and second mode of operation, while the device is being ridden.

Dual charge ride-on vehicle

A battery-powered vehicle is provided having dual charging capabilities. The vehicle has a body, a plurality of wheels supporting the body, a motor connected to at least one of the plurality of wheels, a battery port having a battery dock and battery dock terminals, a remote charging dock on an exterior of the vehicle body, the remote charging dock having remote charging terminals, a charger having a charger plug and associated charger terminals, and a removable and rechargeable battery having battery terminals. The battery is configured to be positioned in the battery port for charging in the battery port and to have the battery terminals electrically and mechanically mate with the battery dock terminals. The battery is also configured to be removed from the battery port and to have the battery terminals electrically and mechanically mate with the charger terminals for charging outside the battery port.

The present invention relates to a foldable tricycle, operable between a first mode of operation steerable by a tricycle rider, and a second mode of operation steerable by an attendant pushing the tricycle. The tricycle comprising: a pair of rear wheels, each rotatably supported by a rear support; a foldable seat comprising a chair and a back support, for accommodating said tricycle rider; a foldable arm rest, connected to said foldable seat; a parental handle, for steering said tricycle by said attendant pushing the tricycle; a main frame, configured to rotatably hold said rear support, to support said foldable seat, to rotatably support said rider handle, to rotatably support said fork; and a latching mechanism, capable of locking and unlocking the rotatable movement, of the rear support, in relations to the main frame.

HUB MOTOR ARRANGEMENT OR VEHICLE WITH HUB MOTOR ARRANGEMENT
20240359556 · 2024-10-31 ·

A ride-on vehicle, such as for a child, includes a vehicle body and one or more wheels that support the vehicle body relative to a surface. At least one of the wheels includes a hub motor arrangement that provides a drive torque for propelling the vehicle. The hub motor arrangement includes a housing defining an interior space. An axle or other mounting element(s) define an axis of rotation of the housing. Preferably, the axle or other mounting element(s) do not pass completely through the housing. A motor drives the housing through a transmission. Preferably, the motor is a standard, compact motor that is positioned on the axis of rotation and can be laterally offset from a central plane of the housing. In some embodiments, a traction element is carried directly by the housing.

Powered skateboard

A powered skateboard having a powered wheel. The powered wheel formed of a motor within tire of the wheel. The powered wheel fixed to a truck of the powered skateboard. The powered skateboard including at least one onboard battery to provide electrical power to the powered wheel.
