REMOVABLE STORAGE MODULE MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR GOLF CART
A storage unit intended for mounting on the rear of a golf cart type vehicle is designed to protrude from the rear of the golf cart to provide more storage space. The storage unit is further designed to be removable, and may be subdivided with movable partitions. Several features are described for its attachment onto the rear of the golf cart in different ways, including specific types of attachments and frameworks for use with and without rear shelf wells on the golf cart. These are designed for greater security in holding the storage unit onto the golf cart, and include adjustable or removable bottom protrusions for use with a rear shelf well, or the attachment frame system without a rear shelf well. In addition, a system is described to allow the storage unit to be folded, such that it can be more compactly folded and shipped, stored or transported.
POWERED UTILITY CART AND COMPLIANT DRIVE WHEEL THEREFOR
A lift-enabled motorized wheel assembly and material handling cart. A drive wheel is supported on an axel between a fixed leg and a floating leg. The axel passes through the fixed leg without interference, but is captured in the floating leg by a self-aligning bearing. The axle is driven by a drive motor that is bolted to the fixed leg through a right-angle gearbox. A vertical suspension unit provides compliance for drive wheel traction. A lifter sub-assembly alternately raises and lowers the drive wheel into and out of contact with the ground. The lift-enabled motorized wheel assembly is attached to the bottom of a cart frame, along with a plurality of caster wheels. The cart includes a tow-bar that is moveable between raised and lowered positions. When the tow-bar is lowered condition for towing, the drive wheel automatically lifts out of contact with the ground.
Electric vehicle
An electric vehicle comprises an electric motor which rotates a wheel; a battery which is an electric power supply unit for the electric motor; and a battery accommodating space which is provided in a vehicle body and accommodates the battery therein; wherein the battery accommodating space includes a first accommodating section which stores a standard battery pack including a first battery as the battery, and a second accommodating section which accommodates an optional battery pack including a second battery as the battery such that the optional battery pack is removable from the vehicle body, and wherein a voltage of the first battery is a value corresponding to an activation voltage of the electric motor, and the electric vehicle is capable of driving with an electric power supplied from at least the first battery.
Automatic shifting system for a vehicle
A shifting system for a vehicle includes an engine with a throttle connected to a transmission. An activating assembly is connected to the transmission, the throttle and a brake. The activating assembly is capable of activating the transmission to change direction.
Ride-On Platform Virtual Reality System
A vehicle includes a plurality of drive subsystems coupled to a chassis, each including a drive motor and a steering motor. A controller parses drive commands and odometry data generated by the drive motors and steering motors, and controls the motors as a function of the drive commands and the odometry data. The vehicle can be controlled through remote commands from a system tracking both the vehicle and a virtual vehicle within a virtual environment.
Mobile transport system
A mobile transport system includes a vehicle frame, first and second pairs of support wheels, first and second drive wheels, and a swing frame. A drive unit including a drive frame is disposed on the swing frame. The first drive wheel is rotatably supported on a first swing arm, and the second drive wheel is rotatably supported on a second swing arm. The first and second swing arms are coupled to each other by a coupling unit, such that a pivot motion of the first swing arm about a first swing axis in a first pivot direction brings about a pivot motion of the second swing arm about a second swing axis in a second pivot direction oriented opposite to the first pivot direction.
Side-by-side vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members, a frame assembly supported by the plurality of ground-engaging members, and a powertrain assembly. Additionally, the utility vehicle includes a body generally surrounding the frame assembly and including a hood, dashboard assembly, and a side panel.
CHARGING CONNECTOR AND SHOPPING CART
A charging connector connects a power supply unit and a shopping cart (charged object) that charges a battery included in the shopping cart according to a voltage signal from the power supply unit, or connects the shopping cart and another shopping cart. The charging connector includes: sockets (output connectors) that output voltage signals from the power supply unit; plugs (input connectors) that can be inserted into and removed from the sockets and are electrically connected to the sockets; a contact determination unit that is provided on the sockets side and detects whether the sockets and the plugs are in a predetermined contact state; and an energization control unit that energizes the plugs from the sockets on condition that the contact determination unit determines that the contact state is the predetermined contact state, and does not energize the plugs from the sockets on condition that the contact determination unit does not determine that the contact state is the predetermined contact state.
POP-UP SHELTER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VEHICLES
An apparatus and method for implementing a vehicle sun and rain shield that converts to a pop-up sheltered compartment. The apparatus semi-permanently attaches to the roof of any vehicle. The device is easy to install and does not interfere with the parking and storage profile of the vehicle. The device is sized to fit within the perimeter of any vehicle roof when deployed. The device is easily opened and closed to provide added sun and rain protection. The device has moveable panels that extend beyond the vehicle roof to provide sun and rain protection. The moveable panels deflect in response to contact. The moveable panels also lock in a position perpendicular with the plane of the roof to provide the pop-up sheltered compartment. The sheltered compartment is useful for storing items or providing temporary shelter for users.
