Cruise control method for hybrid vehicle
A cruise control method for a hybrid vehicle is provided. The method includes detecting a preceding vehicle and estimating the speed of the preceding vehicle from the information input from a preceding vehicle detecting unit in the on state of a cruise mode and a PnG mode. An upper limit target vehicle speed and a lower limit target vehicle speed are determined from the estimated speed of the preceding vehicle. The driving source of the vehicle is operated to alternately repeat the acceleration (pulse phase) and deceleration (glide phase) of the vehicle between the determined upper limit target vehicle speed and lower limit target vehicle speed.
Vehicle and control method for generating compressed air by motor
A vehicle and a control method are capable of generating compressed air using a motor of a hybrid vehicle so as to perform cleaning/care of the hybrid vehicle, without an additional or separate device. The vehicle includes an engine including an intake pipe provided to suck outside air and an exhaust pipe provided to discharge inside air, an opening degree control valve provided at a rear end of the exhaust pipe, and a motor configured to generate power for driving a wheel and configured to drive a piston of the engine by using a portion of the power. In response to the opening degree control valve being in a closed state, and in response to the engine being in a non-combustion state, compressed air is generated in the exhaust pipe by driving the piston of the engine with the power of the motor.
Controller for hybrid vehicle
A controller for a hybrid vehicle performs charging control when a shift range of the hybrid vehicle is a first range, and does not perform the charging control when the shift range of the hybrid vehicle is a second range, the charging control being control of charging a power storage device with electric power generated by a generator driven by an engine. The controller records diagnosis information when an SOC of the power storage device is equal to or lower than a first threshold value and the shift range of the hybrid vehicle is the first range, and does not record the diagnosis information when the SOC of the power storage device is equal to or lower than the first threshold value and the shift range of the hybrid vehicle is the second range.
Method for controlling electrically driven four-wheel-drive vehicle, and device for controlling electrically driven four-wheel-drive vehicle
A control method controls an electric four-wheel-drive vehicle to switch a drive torque distribution between a first distribution prioritizing energy efficiency and a second distribution prioritizing driving performance. The distribution is set to the second distribution where wheel slip is detected during a trip, and returned to the first distribution once the vehicle has stopped. When wheel slip is detected at least during acceleration, the distribution is switched from the first distribution to the second distribution. When wheel slip is detected during deceleration, a slip experience flag is set. The slip experience flag is maintained at least until starting off in a subsequent trip. Where the slip experience flag has been set, the distribution is maintained as the second distribution when the vehicle has stopped, and where the slip experience flag has not been set, the distribution is returned to the first distribution upon the vehicle being stopped.
Hybrid vehicle control apparatus
A hybrid vehicle control apparatus including a torque converter temperature detector detecting a torque converter temperature, a rotor temperature detector detecting a rotor temperature, a stator temperature detector detecting a stator temperature, and an electronic control unit including a microprocessor. The microprocessor is configured to perform controlling an engine, a transmission, a lockup clutch, a motor-generator and a stator cooling device based on the torque converter temperature detected by the torque converter temperature detector, the rotor temperature detected by the rotor temperature detector and the stator temperature detected by the stator temperature detector so that the torque converter temperature is equal to or lower than a first predetermined temperature, the rotor temperature is equal to or lower than a second predetermined temperature and the stator temperature is equal to or lower than a third predetermined temperature.
Management of the cleaning of friction bodies of automotive braking systems
Hybrid or fully electric vehicle comprising: a conventional braking system based on friction bodies to brake the motor vehicle by interaction of the friction bodies in response to the operation of a brake pedal or any other equivalent control member, a reversible electric machine operatively coupled to the wheels of the vehicle and electronically controllable to operate selectively as an electric engine to generate a mechanical power to propel to the vehicle and as an electric generator to convert the kinetic energy of the motor vehicle into electrical energy, and an automotive electronic control system comprising a sensory system to measure automotive quantities, and an electronic control unit to control operation of the conventional braking system and of the electric machine in response to the operation of the brake pedal or any other operationally equivalent control member. The electronic control unit is further configured to control operation of: the electric machine to selectively perform one or more functions including regenerative braking, in which the electric machine is operated as an electric generator to recover the kinetic energy of the motor vehicle during braking and convert it into electrical energy, and the conventional braking system to clean the friction bodies of the conventional braking system based on the number of brakings performed by the conventional braking system and counted starting from the start-up of the motor vehicle.
LOWER STRUCTURE FOR HYBRID AUTOMOBILE
A lower structure for a hybrid automobile in which a high-voltage battery is disposed in a lower surface of a floor panel includes an engine exhaust system component which is disposed in front of the high-voltage battery in the lower surface of the floor panel and on one vehicle-width-direction side of a center in a vehicle width direction and high-voltage devices which are disposed in front of the high-voltage battery and on another vehicle-width-direction side of the center in the vehicle width direction. In-vehicle equipment is disposed between the high-voltage battery and the high-voltage devices, and the in-vehicle equipment is in an inclined state where an upper surface of the in-vehicle equipment is inclined in a front-rear direction such that the in-vehicle equipment has a shorter dimension in the front-rear direction than a dimension in a horizontal state where the upper surface becomes horizontal.
