SOLAR ENERGY GENERATED AND WIRELESS CHARGED MOWING SYSTEM AND MOWER THEREOF
A solar energy generated and wirelessly charged mowing system includes a mower and a wireless transmitting device. The mower includes a frame including a driving seat and a wheel set, an electrical driving device connected to the wheel set, an operating device adapted to be operated by a driver, a trimmer, an energy storage device, a solar energy converting device, a wireless receiving device, and a controlling device. The trimmer mows while the frame is moving. The energy storage device includes a rechargeable battery. The solar energy converting device has a solar panel for receiving and converting a solar energy to a first electricity. The wireless receiving device receives and converts a wireless charging energy of the wireless transmitting device to a second electricity. The first electricity and the second electricity charge the rechargeable battery. The controlling device controls the electrical driving device to drive the frame to move.
Hydraulic block for a hydraulic power unit of a hydraulic power vehicle braking system
A cuboidal hydraulic block of a hydraulic power unit of a hydraulic power vehicle braking system for use in a left-hand drive vehicle or a right-hand drive vehicle to be attachable, rotatably by 180° about a horizontal axis, at a splashboard of a motor vehicle. An electric motor of a power brake pressure generator is thus selectively situated on a right or a left side of the hydraulic block.
HYDRAULIC BLOCK FOR A HYDRAULIC MODULATOR OF A VEHICLE HYDRAULIC-POWER BRAKE SYSTEM
For a compact design of a hydraulic block of a hydraulic modulator of a vehicle slip-controlled hydraulic-power brake system, an electric motor of a power brake-pressure generator is disposed on the same side of the hydraulic block as solenoid valves for a brake-pressure control and an electronic control unit for controlling the electric motor and the solenoid valves.
Compressed natural gas vehicle safety system and method
A multiply-redundant system that prevents a driver from starting and/or moving a vehicle if a compressed natural gas fill system is not correctly and completely disconnected from the vehicle. One or more sensors in combination with one or more optional microswitches combine to lock-out the vehicle's ignition or otherwise prevent it from starting and/or moving. For different levels of safety, different combinations of sensors can be used with the lowest level having a single proximity sensor sensing the presence or absence of a high-pressure fill hose. The highest level of safety being achieved by having separate proximity sensors on the fuel fill hose fitting, the gas cap cover and a manual safety valve along with a redundant microswitch. An optional override that may be restricted as to the number of times it can be used can allow starting with a faulty sensor in order to allow maintenance.
Vehicle torque shaping
A vehicle includes an actuator, a drivetrain configured to receive mechanical power from the actuator, an accelerator pedal position sensor configured to output a driver-demanded torque, and a controller in electric communication with the sensor and the actuator. The controller is programmed to receive the driver-demanded torque and output a shaped torque command to mitigate driveline disturbances caused by backlash and shaft compliance.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A FILLING PROCESS OF A MOTOR VEHICLE TANK AND MOTOR VEHICLE TANK FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD
A method for controlling a filling process of a motor vehicle tank comprising the following steps: determine a geographic location of the motor vehicle tank; determining, by means of the tank control device, whether the geographical position of the motor vehicle tank is within a predetermined geographical area; and determining a shutdown fill volume dependent on the geographical position of the motor vehicle tank, if the geographical position of the motor vehicle tank is within the predetermined geographical area.
MULTI-SPEED TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND OPERATING METHOD
Methods and systems are provided for a multi-speed transmission. The multi-speed transmission includes a housing, an electric motor with a stator and a rotor positioned within the housing, and a planetary assembly positioned on a first axial side of the electric motor. The transmission further includes a first and second clutch unit spaced away from one another, each including a synchronizer, and designed to selectively rotationally couple to the rotor and to rotationally couple the rotor to different gears in the planetary assembly and where the electric motor and planetary assembly are coaxially arranged.
Motor vehicle with cooling air flap device
A cooling air flap device is for a motor vehicle. The cooling air flap device has a cooling air opening through which cooling air can flow. The cooling air flap device has: a cooling air flap, which is arranged in or on the cooling air opening so as to be adjustable in order to change an opening cross section of the cooling air opening through which the cooling air can flow; and a sensor configured to sense surroundings in a region of the cooling air flap device. The sensor is secured to the cooling air flap so that the sensor is adjustable together with the cooling air flap.
Electromechanical brake booster and method for manufacturing an electromechanical brake booster
An electromechanical brake booster for a braking system of a vehicle. The brake booster includes a spindle nut that is movable into rotation using an electric motor that is intrinsic or external to the brake booster, a spindle situated at the spindle nut and rotatably fixedly held using a support plate in such a way that the spindle and the support plate are movable into pure translatory motion using the spindle nut that is moved into rotation, and a reaction disk receiving element that is also movable using the support plate that is moved into pure translatory motion. The reaction disk receiving element includes a receiving opening in which a reaction disk is situated. The support plate and the reaction disk receiving element are designed as a one-piece component. A method for manufacturing an electromechanical brake booster for a braking system of a vehicle, is also described.
WHEEL FASTENER ALARM
A wheel fastener alarm assembly is provided having a fastener body with a first portion defining a wrenching surface and a cavity, and a second portion with a threaded portion to attach and detach from a wheel of a vehicle. A sensor array is disposed in the cavity of fastener body to detect an attribute of the fastener body and generate an output signal based on the attribute of the fastener body. An antenna connected to the sensor array to transmit the signal to a remote location. A cap is secured to the first portion of the fastener body and covers the wrenching surface and the cavity opening to define a capped fastener body.
