Motor Vehicle Accessory to Increase Power Supply and Reduce Fuel Requirements
A power control system may include at least one of batteries, a motor, and a data logic analyzer that can interpret certain variable conditions of a transport, such as a tractor trailer, moving along a road or highway. The data can be used to determine when to apply supplemental power to the wheels of a trailer to reduce fuel usage. One example device may include at least one of a power source affixed to a trailer to capture energy from movement of an axle of the trailer, and a motor powered by the power source to operate and provide movement assistance to the axle.
Publishing LIDAR cluster data
Systems and methods for publishing LIDAR cluster data are described. The vehicle can identify one or more clusters based on data from the LIDAR sensor. The identified one or more clusters can be representative of at least one object in an external environment of the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle can publish the identified one or more clusters before the LIDAR sensor completes a full 360 degree rotation about the axis of rotation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRE-EMPTIVELY ADJUSTING MACHINE PARAMETERS BASED ON PREDICTED FIELD CONDITIONS
In one aspect, a method for pre-emptively adjusting machine parameters based on predicted field conditions may include monitoring an operating parameter of as the agricultural machine makes a first pass across a field. The method may also include initiating active adjustments of the travel speed of the machine based on the operating parameter as the machine makes the first pass. Furthermore, the method may include generating a map based on the travel speed and the operating parameter that included efficiency zones associated with one or more travel speeds. Moreover, the method may include determining predicted efficiency zones for an adjacent second swath within the field based on efficiency zones of the first swath within the field map. Additionally, the method may include pre-emptively initiating adjustments of the travel speed as the machine makes a second pass across the field based on the efficiency parameter for each predicted efficiency zone.
One example device may include at least one of: a power creation module that generates electrical power, a battery which store the electrical power, a motor affixed to a trailer axle of a trailer which provides a turning force to the trailer axle when enabled to operate from the stored electrical power of the battery, and a motor controller configured to initiate the motor to operate according to a predefined sensor condition.
WHEEL FASTENER ALARM
A wheel fastener alarm is provided with a fastener body, a cap covering the fastener body, a sensor array disposed within the fastener body, and a cover disposed over an opening in the fastener body and a hole in the cap.
Gyro seat and vehicle including the same
A gyro seat includes: a seat body comprising a seat cushion and a seat back coupled to the seat cushion; and a seat gyroscope mounted to the seat body, the seat gyroscope compensating a movement of the seat body by control of first, second and third axes, where the first axis corresponds to a yaw of the seat body as a z axis of an xyz coordinate system, the second axis corresponds to a pitch of the seat body as an x axis of the xyz coordinate system, and the third axis corresponds to a roll of the seat body as a y axis of the xyz coordinate system.
Shifting control system and method for multi-speed automatic transmission based on vehicle location
Systems and methods for managing shift changes of a multi-speed automatic transmission of a vehicle are provided. The multi-speed automatic transmission being capable of establishing a plurality of forward speed ratios. The vehicle may include a transmission shift selector having at least one operator selectable shift request input to request a shift change of the multi-speed automatic transmission. A control circuit operatively coupled to the multi-speed automatic transmission is provided which shifts the multi-speed automatic transmission from a first forward speed ratio to a second forward speed ratio in response to shift criteria. The shift criteria may be based on a plurality of operational characteristics related to the vehicle.

Trailer-based energy capture and management
A through the road (TTR) hybridization strategy is proposed to facilitate introduction of hybrid electric vehicle technology in a significant portion of current and expected trucking fleets. In some cases, the technologies can be retrofitted onto an existing vehicle (e.g., a trailer, a tractor-trailer configuration, etc.). In some cases, the technologies can be built into new vehicles. In some cases, one vehicle may be built or retrofitted to operate in tandem with another and provide the hybridization benefits contemplated herein. By supplementing motive forces delivered through a primary drivetrain and fuel-fed engine with supplemental torque delivered at one or more electrically-powered drive axles, improvements in overall fuel efficiency and performance may be delivered, typically without significant redesign of existing components and systems that have been proven in the trucking industry.
OPERATION INPUT DEVICE
An operation input device includes a detection unit configured to sense a detection value changing according to a distance to a detection target object and a controller configured to detect input operation in a case where the detection value is equal to or greater than a first threshold. The controller stands by in a sleep mode in which a power consumption is reduced as compared to a normal standby mode in a case where the detection value is less than a second threshold, which is smaller than the first threshold, as a threshold indicating that the distance between the detection target object and the detection unit is equal to or shorter than a second distance longer than the first distance, and stands by in the normal standby mode in a case where the detection value is equal to or greater than the second threshold.
