Cloud Process for Rapid Data Investigation and Data Integrity Analysis
20180013829 · 2018-01-11 ·

A system and method for rapid data investigation and data integrity analysis is disclosed. A data set is received by a server computer from one or more client computers connected with the server computer via a communications network, and the data set is stored in a distributed storage memory. One or more analytical processes are executed on the data set from the distributed storage memory to generate statistics based on each of the analytical processes, and the statistics are stored in a random access memory, the random access memory being accessible by one or more compute nodes, which generate a graphical representation of at least some statistics stored in the random access memory. The graphical representation of at least some statistics is then formatted for transmission to and display by the one or more client computers.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR SHARING CONTENT VIA LINKS

In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for sharing content via links. These mechanisms and methods for sharing content via links can enable customizable features associated with the operations related to those links. These features may include generating customized reports on usage of the links, and/or exposing one or more application programming interfaces (APIs) enabling applications to access the links and/or logic associated with operations related to those links.

Merging Data Downloads with Real-Time Data Feeds
20180013850 · 2018-01-11 ·

Methods and apparatuses for merging downloaded data with a real-time data are disclosed. An example includes receiving downloaded item of data from a download connection with a data repository and real-time item of data from a real-time data feed with a data publisher. In response to determining that the downloaded item of data includes the most recent downloaded item of data from the download connection, the downloaded item of data is stored as the last downloaded item of data. In response to determining that the real-time item of data is the most recent real-time item of data received from the real-time data feed, the real-time item of data is stored as the last real-time item of data from the real-time data feed. In response to determining a match between the last downloaded item of data and the last real-time item of data the download connection is ended.

GROUP MESSAGING
20180013701 · 2018-01-11 ·

A messaging server improves interworking of the Group-chat feature (such as defined in Rich Communications Services (RCS)) with short message services such as SMS. It matches chat invitations in an effective manner. When an RCS-User invites an SMS-User to an RCS Group-chat session, the identification of the RCS-User in the Group-chat to the SMS-User is via the MSISDN of the RCS-User. Using the MSISDN of the RCS-User in the RCS Group-chat invitation to the SMS-User will provide a direct match with the RCS-User MSISDN in the address-book of the SMS-User and therefore provide immediate clarity from who this Group-chat invitation was received. The SMS-User can accept or reject the Group-chat invitation by returning the proper response as requested in the invitation.

COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIA FOR DYNAMIC SERVICE DEPLOYMENT AND METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR UTILIZING SAME
20180011752 · 2018-01-11 ·

Systems and methods for service deployment are disclosed herein. Certain implementations may include a memory encoded with computer executable instructions that when executed cause a processing unit to operate a service deployment engine and use consistent APIs both (a) internally via a package API when consuming deployment packages in order to expose them, and (b) externally via a service API when exposing available packages and services to the outside world or enterprise server. By doing so, calling applications can depend on the consistency of the service API engine while the enterprise server itself can reliably consume and interact with a dynamic set of packages organized in a consistent and predictable way. The service deployment engine may be configured to act as a dynamic library loader to interrogate, deploy, start/stop, and/or uninstall packages and services in real time. The packages and services may all implement the same package API.

Multi-site virtual infrastructure orchestration of network service in hybrid cloud environments

A method of deploying a network service (NS) across multiple data centers includes identifying virtual network functions (VNFs) associated with the NS in response to a request for or relating to the NS, generating commands to deploy VNFs based on VNF descriptors, and issuing the commands to the data centers to deploy VNFs. The data centers each have a cloud management server in which cloud computing management software is run to provision virtual infrastructure resources thereof for a plurality of tenants. The cloud computing management software of a first data center is different from the cloud computing management software of a second data center, and the commands issued to the first and second data centers are each a generic command that is not in a command format of the cloud computing management software of either the first data center or the second data center.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NEUTRAL APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE
20180013732 · 2018-01-11 ·

Systems and methods for neutral application programming interfaces are disclosed. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to a system for neutral application programming interfaces. The system may comprise a device. The device may be configured to receive a request. The request may comprise an outer payload and an inner payload. The device may be further configured to parse the outer payload based on a common definition of the outer payload. The device may be further configured to extract information of an action from the outer payload. The device may be further configured to parse the inner payload based on a definition of the action. The device may be further configured to process the action.

Modular Industrial Automation Device and Method for Configuring a Modular Industrial Automation Device
20180013619 · 2018-01-11 · ·

Modular industrial automation device and method for configuring a modular industrial automation device, wherein in order to configure the modular industrial automation device which includes a central unit and at least one communication module which each comprise a router module and a routing configuration unit, the routing configuration units transmit routing information stored in their routing table to routing configuration units of other router modules, and the routing configuration units update their respective routing table based on routing information which is received from routing configuration units of other router modules and relates to routes to IPv4 subnetworks assigned to other router modules, a default gateway and a connection between the associated router module and a backplane bus system.

SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR DIRECT COMMUNICATION

Device to device (D2D) communication can be performed with packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) based encapsulation without internet protocol (IP) addressing. The non-IP D2D PDCP-encapsulated communication can further include two forms of secure data transfer. A first non-IP D2D PDCP-encapsulated communication can be a negotiated non-IP D2D PDCP-encapsulated communication. A second non-IP D2D PDCP-encapsulated communication can be a non-negotiated non-IP D2D communication. The non-negotiated non-IP D2D PDCP-encapsulated communication can include a common key management server (KMS) version and a distributed KMS version. The encapsulated communication can be used with various protocols, including a PC5 protocol (such as the PC5 Signaling Protocol) and wireless access in vehicular environments (WAVE) protocols.
