The camera module includes a lens module including one or more lenses; an image sensor configured to convert light passing through the lens module into an electrical signal; and a filter configured to perform a polarization function, wherein the filter is configured to be movable in a space formed between the lens module and the image sensor.
AUGMENTED REALITY DEVICE INCLUDING VARIABLE FOCUS LENSES AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
Provided is an augmented reality device including a variable focus lens, an eye tracking sensor configured to emit light to eyes of a user, receive the light reflected by the eyes of the user, and detect a plurality of feature points based on the light reflected by the eyes of the user, and at least one processor configured to obtain information with respect to eye relief, which is a distance between the eyes of the user and the variable focus lens, based on position information of the plurality of feature points detected by the eye tracking sensor, obtain information with respect to a gaze point at which gaze directions of the eyes of the user converge, and an interpupillary distance of the eyes of the user, based on the plurality of feature points, and determine a position of a focal region of the variable focus lens based on the information with respect to the eye relief, the gaze point, and the interpupillary distance.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR SELECTIVELY COMPENSATING FOR CORRECTIVE LENSES APPLIED TO DISPLAY DEVICES DURING TESTING
An apparatus comprising (1) a conoscope configured to receive an image emitted by a display device through a corrective lens, (2) a variable compensation element coupled to the conoscope, wherein the variable compensation element is capable of selectively modifying the image emitted by the display device to compensate for an optical effect imparted by the corrective lens on the image, and (3) a controller coupled to the variable compensation element, wherein the controller (1) receives a compensation parameter representative of the optical effect imparted by the corrective lens on the image, (2) selects, based at least in part on the compensation parameter, a feature of the variable compensation element that compensates for the optical effect, and (3) causing the feature of the variable compensation element to be applied to the image. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
CYLINDRICAL CAMERA ROTATING CAP SHUTTER MECHANISM WITH ENHANCED AUDIO SECURITY
An information handling system peripheral camera ensures privacy with a cover that minimizes distance of a camera module to a front opening of the camera housing. For instance, opposing cover members rotate about geared ends that engage to translate rotation between the members, where the members meet over a camera opening to block capture of visual images and move to opposing sides to expose the camera module. In an alternative embodiment, a rotating shutter arrangement selectively covers the camera for security and also covers a microphone to provide security against unauthorized audible access through the camera. Selective covering and exposing of a camera module, infrared camera, microphone and user presence detection sensor support adaptive security at a camera based upon end user context.
QUICK-ASSEMBLY COMPONENT AND PHOTOGRAPHING APPARATUS
A quick-assembly component includes a quickly-assembly plate and a quick-assembly seat. The quick-assembly plate has a first surface and a second surface oppositely arranged along a thickness direction of the quick-assembly plate. The first surface is provided with a recess; a side wall of the recess is provided with a clamping slot communicating with the recess. The quick-assembly seat includes a seat body, a touch assembly, and clamping assemblies. The touch assembly includes touch members that are movable relative to the seat body along the thickness direction of the quick-assembly plate. The clamping assemblies each include a clamping member and a first restoring member provided between the clamping member and the seat body. The clamping member is movable relative to the seat body to allow the first restoring member to accumulate and release a restoring force.
MOVABLE CAMERA
An imaging system includes a cylindrical housing defining left and right circular ends and formed with a linear slit extending from left end to right end. A camera is in the housing with a line of sight through the slit. A processor in the housing receives signals from the first camera and controls an actuator in the housing to rotate the cylindrical housing about a central axis defined the cylindrical housing such that the cylindrical housing can roll under influence of the actuator.
CAMERA MODULE WITH COMPONENT SIZE BASED ON IMAGE SENSOR
A camera module includes an image sensor, a lens assembly, a printed circuit board, and a substrate. The image sensor has edges that define a two-dimensional footprint substantially parallel to a surface of the image sensor. The lens assembly is coupled to a top surface of the image sensor and focuses light onto the top surface of the image sensor. Edges of the lens assembly do not extend beyond the footprint. The printed circuit board is below the image sensor and controls the image sensor. The substrate is coupled to a bottom surface of the image sensor and to a top surface of the printed circuit board. The substrate electrically couples the image sensor to the printed circuit board. Edges of the substrate do not extend beyond the footprint.
Image-Based Assay Using Mark-Assisted Machine Learning
The present disclosure relates to devices, apparatus and methods of improving the accuracy of an image-based assay. One aspect of the present invention is to sandwich a sample between two plates and add reference marks in the sample areas of the plates, with at least one of the geometric and/optical properties of the reference marks being predetermined and known, and taking images of the sample with the reference marks, and applying a machine learning model in the analysis of the image-based assay.
BLADE OPEN-CLOSE DEVICE AND IMAGING DEVICE
A blade open-close device includes a blade for which an open or closed state is easily viewable from outside. A blade open-close device includes a base having a base opening, and a cover covering the base and having a cover opening adjacent to the base opening in the base in Z-direction. The blade open-close device further includes a blade movable in X-direction in a blade chamber between the base and the cover and including a light emitter that emits light, and an actuator that moves the blade to a closing position to expose at least part of the light emitter in the blade through the cover opening and retracts the blade to an opening position to allow the cover opening and the base opening to communicate with each other.
MICROPHONE STRUCTURE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed is an electronic device including a structure that stably supports a flexible printed circuit board on which a microphone module is disposed inside the electronic device, thereby improving the sealing between the microphone module and the camera housing.
