A battery unit comprising an electric energy reservoir having positive and negative voltage supply terminals, three or more electric contact pads on an outer surface of the battery unit, and a dynamically configurable connection unit for electrically connecting each of said positive and negative voltage supply terminals to any one or more of said electric contact pads, wherein electric energy can be drawn from the electric energy reservoir via selectively different combinations of electric contact pads.

Electronic cigarette and battery assembly thereof

The present application provides an electrical cigarette and a battery assembly thereof, wherein a first charging electrode assembly is arranged at a front end of the battery assembly, such that the battery assembly can be directly inserted into a charger to be charged without removing an atomizing assembly, therefore the operation is more convenient and disadvantages caused by frequent disassembling and assembling may be avoided. In addition, under the action of a charging management circuit, the electrode assembly at the front end can only be charged but cannot discharge, thereby avoiding an occurrence of a short circuit when the charging terminal discharges, extending the service life of the battery, and further avoiding a hidden danger of battery liquid leakage caused by the short circuit. In addition, since the front end of the electronic cigarette can not discharge, a situation that the electronic cigarette still has a low battery even been charged for a long time will not happen.

Battery pack

A battery pack comprises a first battery cell and a second battery cell; the first and second battery cells each have a size within a manufacturing tolerance. A housing comprises at least one wall defining a first hole and a second hole, each hole for receiving one of the first or second battery cells, each hole having a size corresponding to a minimum size within the manufacturing tolerance. There is a flexibly resilient portion moveable between a rest position and a clamping position whereby the flexibly resilient portion clamps against at least one of the first and second battery cells when one of the first or second battery cells has a size greater than the minimum size within the manufacturing tolerance.

Battery module

A battery module is provided and includes a plurality of rechargeable batteries and a battery cover, wherein the rechargeable batteries are disposed adjacent to each other, each of the rechargeable batteries has a battery case having a wall portion equipped with an open valve that is constructed so as to open when the inner pressure of the battery case rises up to a threshold value, and the battery cover faces the wall portion. The battery cover has a plurality of cover members provided side by side in a direction toward which the rechargeable batteries are disposed adjacent to each other. The cover members include at least adjacent first and second cover members. The first cover member has a first edge portion and the second cover member has a second edge portion overlapped with the first edge portion.
