ONBOARD BATTERY FOR VEHICLE

An onboard battery includes predetermined members such as battery modules, and a housing case. An internal space of the housing case is partitioned by a partition plate into an upper space and a lower space in which the predetermined members are disposed, and the battery modules are disposed below the partition plate. The housing case has a bottom surface on which the battery modules are disposed, a front surface that has a front-side tightening part, and a rear surface that has a rear-side tightening part. The partition plate has a partition base that partitions the internal space of the housing case into the upper space and the lower space, a front-side fixation target part that is continuous with a front end of the partition base, and a rear-side fixation target part that is continuous with a rear end of the partition base.

VAPORIZING DEVICE WITH POWER COMPONENT

A vaporizing device generally having a tank, power component, battery, and shroud is disclosed. The power component may include a frame defining a slot configured to receive the tank in an upright position, such that a portion of the tank is adjacent to the power component when the tank is in position. The battery may be coupled to the frame of the power component. The shroud may be configured to be positioned around the battery and coupled to the frame. The battery may be activated when the shroud is compressed radially inward. The device may include a port for connection to an external power supply for recharging the battery. The device may be portable with a generally compact configuration in order to allow a user to comfortably hold the device in the palm of the hand.

BATTERY PACK

The present invention includes a battery pack for a cordless power tool including a plastic housing including a mechanical interface for mechanically coupling the battery pack to a corresponding mechanical interface of a cordless power tool. The mechanical interface includes a rail, a groove and a sliding surface. The battery pack also includes a bracket encased within the plastic housing wherein the bracket includes a first portion positioned within the rail of the mechanical interface.

LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY

Provided is a lithium ion secondary battery which has a low internal resistance in a low-SOC region and a sufficiently large amount of gas generated during overcharge. The lithium ion secondary battery disclosed herein includes an electrode body having a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution. The lithium ion secondary battery further includes a pressure-type safety mechanism. The nonaqueous electrolytic solution includes a gas generating agent. The positive electrode has a positive electrode active material layer including a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material includes a lithium transition metal composite oxide represented by LiNi.sub.aCo.sub.bMn.sub.cO.sub.2 wherein a, b and c satisfy the following conditions: 0.35≦a≦0.45, 0.15≦b≦0.25, 0.35≦c≦0.45, and a+b+c=1, and a lithium transition metal composite oxide represented by LiNi.sub.xCo.sub.yMn.sub.zO.sub.2 wherein x, y and z satisfy the following conditions: 0.35≦x≦0.45, 0.45≦y≦0.55, 0.05≦z≦0.15, and x+y+z=1, and the mass ratio of the oxides is 60:40 to 85:15.

Battery assembly with temperature control device

A battery module of the present invention is adaptable to be utilized in various configurations including and not limited to an overlapping battery cell packaging configuration and a vertical stack battery cell packaging configuration used in an automotive and non-automotive applications. The battery module has a plurality of battery heatsink assemblies with the cells disposed therebetween. A plurality of rods extend through the each heatsink assemblies to secure the heatsink assemblies and the cell with one another to form the battery module.

A battery pack includes a battery cell and a frame having an opening in which the battery cell is installed, an edge of the opening including a support portion contacting a side of the battery cell, the support portion having a surface corresponding to a surface of the battery cells.

Vehicle

A vehicle includes a motor serving as a driving source configured to run the vehicle, and a high-power and high-capacity assembled batteries, each of the assembled batteries being formed to include secondary batteries configured to supply an electric power to the motor, the secondary batteries of the assembled batteries being housed in different cases. The high-power and high-capacity assembled batteries are arranged around a luggage space located in a rearward portion of the vehicle. The high-power assembled battery is chargeable and dischargeable with a current larger than a current in the high-capacity assembled battery. The high-capacity assembled battery has an energy capacity larger than an energy capacity of the high-power assembled battery. The high-capacity assembled battery is arranged above or below the high-power assembled battery in the vehicle, and at least a portion of the high-capacity assembled battery protrudes from the high-power assembled battery rearward in the vehicle.

Electronic cigarette

An electronic cigarette, in which an atomizer assembly protective cartridge is provided outside of the atomizer assembly, and a battery assembly protective cartridge is provided outside of the battery assembly. An atomizing seat fitted with the holder is provided at an inner end of the atomizer assembly. At least a coating layer is provided outside of the atomizer assembly protective cartridge, the holder and the battery assembly protective cartridge, and enables connection between the atomizer assembly protective cartridge, the holder and the battery assembly protective cartridge. In the overall process of assembling the electronic cigarette, since there is no pushing or squeezing action between the atomizer assembly and the battery assembly, it is possible to effectively avoid oil leakage caused by an inclination and a deformation of the atomizing seat under uneven force is effectively avoided.

Battery pack

Disclosed herein is a battery pack which includes a plurality of battery modules housed in a housing. The battery modules are connected in series to each other via connecting members that connects external terminals of the battery modules to each other. The battery modules are classified into groups, each being comprised of at least two of the battery modules, two terminal ones of which have a potential difference of at most V or less between themselves. A first connecting member connects the external terminals of the battery modules to each other between two adjacent ones of the groups. A second connecting member connects the external terminals of the battery modules to each other within an identical one of the groups. If water penetrates into the housing, the first connecting member is electrically cut off, preferentially relative to the second connecting member.
