Message sending method and apparatus

The present disclosure provides a method of sending a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) service message. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, a communication path for a V2X service, where the communication path is selected from at least two communication paths, the at least two communication paths include a first communication path and a second communication path, the first communication path is a communication path on which communication is performed using a PC5 interface, and the second communication path is a communication path on which communication is performed using a Uu interface; and sending, by the terminal device, a message of the V2X service by using the communication path. In the foregoing solution, the communication path can be selected from the at least two communication paths, to send the message of the V2X service. In this way, a communication path is flexibly selected for a V2X service.

Hybrid cloud methods, apparatus and systems for secure file sharing and synchronization with backup and server virtualization

Integrated File Sharing and Synchronization (FSS) and Backup Management and Storage (BMS) in a network appliance deployed behind a firewall and within a private trusted Local Area Network (LAN). The appliance processes backup image files of a LAN server's file system to generate fully constructed backup recovery points for the LAN server. Logical blocks for backup image files and associated recovery points may be stored locally on the appliance and redundantly in a trusted cloud domain, and a hypervisor on the appliance provides virtualization of the LAN server based on backup recovery points. A relay server cluster in the cloud facilitates reliable and secure access to the FSS services by remote client devices beyond the firewall, without changing fire wall rules, by employing HTTPS between remote client devices and the relay server cluster, and Secure Shell (SSH) tunneling between the cluster and the appliance behind the firewall.

Securing content using pipelines

A transcoding service is described that is capable of transcoding or otherwise processing content, such as video, audio or multimedia content, by utilizing one or more pipelines. A pipeline can enable a user to submit transcoding jobs (or other processing jobs) into an available pipeline, where a transcoding service (or other such service) assigns one or more computing resources to process the jobs received to each pipeline. The transcoding service and the pipelines can be provided by at least one service provider (e.g., a cloud computing provider) or other such entity to a plurality of customers. A service provider can also provide the computing resources (e.g., servers, virtual machines, etc.) used to process the transcoding jobs from the pipelines.

RADIO STATION SYSTEM, RADIO TERMINAL, AND METHODS THEREIN

A radio station (2) transmits configuration information (501) to a radio terminal (1). The configuration information (501) indicates, on a cell-by-cell basis, at least one specific cell on which the radio terminal (1) is allowed to perform at least one of data transmission and data reception on a radio bearer used for uplink transmission or downlink transmission or both via a common Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer (402). As a result, in a radio architecture that provides tight interworking of two different Radio Access Technologies (RATs), it is for example possible to allow an eNB to indicate, to a radio terminal (UE), a specific cell on which the UE should perform uplink transmission.

Generation, curation, and presentation of media collections

Systems and methods are provided for receiving a request to activate a new media collection, input increasing the default predetermined window of time that the new media collection is accessible, and input decreasing or increasing the default geographic boundary size for where media content for the media collection originates. The systems and methods further provide for sending the request to a server computer to activate the new media collection, receiving confirmation that the new media collection was activated and causing a plurality of content messages to be included in the new media collection and displayed in response to a request from at least one computing device to view the new media collection based on determining the request occurs within the increased predetermined window of time that the new media collection is accessible.

Data transmission method, data transmission apparatus, processor, and mobile terminal

Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method, a data transmission apparatus, a processor, and a mobile terminal. The data transmission method includes: determining, by a mobile terminal, whether to use multiple data channels to transmit to-be-transmitted data; if determining to use the multiple data channels to transmit the to-be-transmitted data, selecting, by the mobile terminal, at least two activated data channels for the to-be-transmitted data according to current traffic information and service quality information that are of the multiple data channels; and using, by the mobile terminal, the selected at least two data channels to transmit the to-be-transmitted data. According to the embodiments of the present invention, data transmission efficiency is enhanced, and idleness and a waste of data channel resources are avoided.

Fragment-based mobile device application streaming utilizing crowd-sourcing

Some examples include decomposing an application into fragments and streaming the application in fragments. For instance, a plurality of application fragments may include a first application fragment and a second application fragment that each correspond to a portion of a mobile game application. When streaming the first application fragment to the mobile device, a system may determine that the second application fragment follows the first application fragment based on a fragments relationship data structure. The fragments relationship data structure may associate the first application fragment with the second application fragment based on an analysis of the fragment information that indicates that the second application fragment follows the first application fragment during operation of the mobile game application. The system may stream the second application fragment to the mobile device based on the determination that the second application fragment follows the first application fragment.

To provide a communication control means for establishing a session suitable for a terminal apparatus connecting to multiple access networks of various kinds and a network apparatus, a user data communication control means suitable for a terminal apparatus that has established sessions via multiple access networks and a network apparatus, and the like. This provides a communication control means suitable for a terminal apparatus and a network apparatus that support connection to multiple access networks of various kinds.

Account login method and apparatus

A server, primary client device, and secondary device may be provided. The server may be configured to receive a login request sent by a secondary client device, the login request including a secondary account identifier and an encoded image, the secondary account identifier associated with a secondary account. The server may decode the encoded image to identify a primary account identifier and an expiration time indicator encoded in the encoded image. The server may determine that the secondary account is linked with a primary account. The server may compare the expiration time indicator with the request time to determine that the encoded image has not expired. The server may authorize privileged communication with the secondary client device in response to the secondary account being linked with the primary account and determination that the encoded image has not expired.

Interactive display based on near field communications

Systems and methods for providing interaction between a user device and an interactive display system using near field communications are provided. The interactive display system includes a display panel configured to present visual content and near field communication (NFC) devices behind or within the display panel. The interactive display system detects a user device adjacent to the display panel using at least one of the NFC devices. The interactive display system determines a position relative to the display panel for the user device. The interactive display system exchanges data with the user device based on the position. The interactive display system may receive data that includes displayable information from the user device and present the displayable information on the display panel at or near the position for the user device. The interactive display system may simultaneously interact with more than one user device.
