Provided is a composite fabric having a base fabric and at least one bacterial biopolymer layer. The base fabric is a woven fabric, and includes warp yarns and weft yarns. At least a first plurality of warp yarns and a first plurality of weft yarns form a base layer of the base fabric. A second plurality of warp yarns and/or a second plurality of weft yarns forms an additional layer of loop portions on at least one of the sides of the base fabric. The bacterial biopolymer layer is provided at least on part of the additional layer. Further provided is a process for the production of the composite fabric and a clothing article formed of the composite fabric.

PRODUCTION OF HIGH COTTON NUMBER OR LOW DENIER CORE SPUN YARN FOR WEAVING OF REACTIVE FABRIC AND ENHANCED BEDDING
20170275787 · 2017-09-28 ·

A method includes drawing a roving thread from a roving bobbin through a roving guide, an aft drafting roller, and a mid drafting roller to a front drafting roller, and drawing a spandex core from a spandex bobbin using a guide roller. The method also includes associating the roving thread and the spandex core by drawing the roving thread and the spandex core in an approximately parallel fashion through the front drafting roller, and drawing the associated roving thread and the spandex core through a lappet hook and an anti-ballooning guide. Further, the method includes winding the drawn associated roving thread and the spandex core on a ring-frame bobbin including a ring traveler attached to a rotatable ring. The circular motion of the ring traveler around the ring-frame bobbin causes the drawn associated roving thread to twist around the drawn associated spandex core, forming a core spun yarn.

PRODUCTION OF HIGH COTTON NUMBER OR LOW DENIER CORE SPUN YARN FOR WEAVING OF REACTIVE FABRIC AND ENHANCED BEDDING
20170275788 · 2017-09-28 ·

A woven textile fabric includes a warp yarn and a weft yarn. The weft yarn is a core spun yarn having a spandex core, and the woven textile fabric is a sateen weave and/or a plain weave.

AIR DELIVERY CONDUIT

A mask system and an air delivery conduit for use in the treatment of respiratory disorders. The air delivery conduit may comprise a textile having an airtight arrangement. A support structure may be provided to the conduit to provide form.

PANTS WITH RIP-STOP AND MECHANICAL STRETCH

Rip-stop pants include waist and leg portions formed of ripstop fabric having synthetic mechanical-stretch filament yarns interwoven into spun, staple yarns in a ripstop pattern.

WOVEN FABRIC AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
20170211211 · 2017-07-27 ·

A woven fabric that includes a plurality of warp yarns and a plurality of stretch weft yarns. In one embodiment, all of the weft yarns have the same shrinkage ratio and same size of yarn count, and the repeat intersection points on the weft yarns are either 61 or 131. The weft yarns in the 61 pattern alternate with the weft yarns in the 131 pattern, with two 61 weft yarns followed by one 131 weft yarn. This results in a woven fabric that performs like a knitted fabric but with the look of woven denim when the warp yarns are indigo dyed.

FABRIC AND GARMENT INCLUDING COMPRESSION ZONES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH A FABRIC
20170204542 · 2017-07-20 · ·

A pocket fabric and a method for producing such a fabric, include elastic warp threads and elastic weft threads, and include one or more pockets having at least two stacked layers of fabric in which the warp threads result from the division of the warp threads of a single warp. The at least two layers of fabric are connected to one another by one or more woven joining areas in which the warp thread or threads result from joining the layers of fabric into a single warp, one or more of the at least two layers of fabric including a plurality of weaves with different elasticities, the weaves defining areas having different elasticities in the woven pocket fabric. A garment made of the fabric or including the fabric is also disclosed.

Production of high cotton number or low denier core spun yarn for weaving of reactive fabric and enhanced bedding

A method of producing a core spun yarn is disclosed. A oriented polyester yarn is drawn through a primary heater and exposed to a cooling plate. The oriented polyester yarn is drawn through a friction twisting unit. A spandex core is drawn from a spandex bobbin to become associated with the oriented polyester yarn. Both the spandex core and the oriented polyester yarn are drawn through an intermingling jet, which texturizes the oriented polyester yarn using a hot air punching technique. The oriented polyester yarn is twisted around the spandex core using the intermingling jet and/or the friction twisting unit. The oriented polyester yarn and the spandex core are drawn through a NFR roller and then heated to form the core spun yarn.

METHOD OF MAKING AN ELEVATOR SUSPENSION AND/OR DRIVING ASSEMBLY HAVING AT LEAST ONE TRACTION SURFACE DEFINED BY WEAVE FIBERS
20170190546 · 2017-07-06 ·

An illustrative example method of making an elongated load bearing member includes providing a plurality of tension elements. A plurality of weave fibers are woven together with the tension elements to thereby establish a weave. A traction surface is established on at least one side of the load bearing member. The traction surface is defined by the weave fibers. Coating the weave fibers with a compressible coating provides an exterior surface texture defined at least in part by the weave fibers.
