Articles of footwear having a leno woven upper with a bladder component

An article of footwear includes a sole, an upper, and an inflatable bladder disposed on the upper. The upper includes a leno woven fabric having a continuous leno weave pattern of a plurality of warp yarns extending in a longitudinal direction and a plurality of weft yarns extending in a transverse direction. The weft yarns include an elastic material.

Garment and process of preparation

A garment article is made of a fabric including a plurality of warp and weft yarns woven together in a pattern; at least the weft yarns include elastomeric yarns, to provide an elasticity of the fabric in warp direction that is at least 7% and elasticity of the fabric in weft direction that is at least 15%; the fabric of the garment is bias cut so that the weft yarns in the garment are angled with respect to the widthwise direction (WD) of the article.

Mesh material for flexible structures and methods of fabricating same
10457015 · 2019-10-29 · ·

A mesh material for fabricating hunting blinds, tents, and other similar flexible structures. The material is durable, water-resistant, and partially light-transmissive such that persons or objects inside or behind the structures are not easily seen from outside the structures. The material is also semi-permeable to air flow for ventilation purposes. The mesh material is fabricated from an interwoven polyester fabric that is coated with acrylic and a mixture of silicone and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). Patterns and/or colors are printed on both sides of the fabric with a heat transfer paper printing process to provide a desired level of light transmissivity.

Described are implants, intermediate articles of manufacture (web constructions) useful for preparing implants, methods of forming the implants and intermediate articles, and related methods for treating pelvic conditions by use of the implants. The present invention relates generally to surgical implants (i.e., implants), intermediate articles of manufacture (web constructions) useful for preparing surgical implants, methods of forming the implants and intermediate articles, and related methods for treating pelvic conditions by use of the implants.

WOVEN/KNITTED FABRIC

A woven/knitted fabric (1) has a plurality of ridges (6) formed along one direction, and each ridge (6) is constituted by a top (3) and side walls (4), (5) under the top (3). At least one of the top (3) and side walls (4), (5) is different in color from other two of them. At least part of the plurality of ridges (6) is arranged such that a distance L4 between the ridges (6) adjacent to each other is 0.2 to 2.5 mm. The ridges (6) are set so as to satisfy the following relations:

Ratio Ra=(L2+L3)/L4=0.8 to 7.9;

Ratio Rb=L1/(L2+L3)=0.4 to 1.6;

Ratio Rc=L2/L3=0.2 to 0.9; and

Ratio Rd=L1/L5=0.4 to 1.2,

where L1 is a width of the top (3), L2 is a thickness of the top (3), L3 is a height of the side walls (4), (5), and L5 is a distance between wall surfaces of the side walls (4), (5).

Woven Planar Footwear Upper

Aspects of the present invention relate to a shoe upper that is formed as a substantially planar article with varied functional zones integrated therein. The varied functional zones may be strategically positioned zones having varied degrees of stretch. Additionally, it is contemplated that the functional zones may provide dimensional variation (e.g., thickness) and/or permeability (e.g., breathability) characteristics. The substantially planar upper may then be formed into a three-dimensional upper having a volume that may be occupied by a wearer's foot.

Production of high cotton number or low denier core spun yarn for weaving of reactive fabric and enhanced bedding

A method includes drawing a roving thread from a roving bobbin through a roving guide, an aft drafting roller, and a mid drafting roller to a front drafting roller, and drawing a spandex core from a spandex bobbin using a guide roller. The method also includes associating the roving thread and the spandex core by drawing the roving thread and the spandex core in an approximately parallel fashion through the front drafting roller, and drawing the associated roving thread and the spandex core through a lappet hook and an anti-ballooning guide. Further, the method includes winding the drawn associated roving thread and the spandex core on a ring-frame bobbin including a ring traveler attached to a rotatable ring. The circular motion of the ring traveler around the ring-frame bobbin causes the drawn associated roving thread to twist around the drawn associated spandex core, forming a core spun yarn.

Loosening prevention lace

A loosening prevention lace which overcomes the problems where the lace is slackened or undone upon the lace being tied up through the eyelets for fastening the shoes, garment and as such and which brings unforeseen effect on design or appearance as well. The loosening prevention lace is provided by weaving one picot forming linear body or a plurality of picot forming linear bodies into a tubular woven fabric in a warp yarn direction thereof and protruding one picot forming linear body or a plurality of picot forming linear bodies from a surface of the tubular woven fabric with a certain interval over a longitudinal direction of the tubular fabric in a loop form.
