Washing machine appliance and suspension assembly for same
Washing machine appliances and suspension assemblies for suspending tubs in washing machine appliances are provided. A suspension assembly includes a frame, a mount seated on the frame, and a rod coupled to the mount. The rod is rotatable about a pivot point. The suspension assembly further includes a sensor assembly operable to monitor rotation of the rod. The sensor assembly includes a sensor and a reference surface. One of the sensor or the reference surface is coupled to the rod and rotatable with the rod relative to the other of the sensor or the reference surface. The sensor is operable to measure reference distances from the reference surface.
Transportable and ergonomic washer/dryer combination within a suitcase housing
The present invention provides a portable washing and drying device in a form of a suitcase that is transportable and ergonomic to handle. The device includes a housing transformable into an open or closed state, and including a washing and drying assembly which is configured to wash and dry laundry items. The device further includes modular connections for supplying and removing water, and providing electric power to the assembly which may be removed after use, making the device compact. The device may additionally include suction cups to firmly attach itself with any surface and spring loaded rods for absorbing any shocks from washing/drying operations. The device may also include means like handles and wheels for lending the device to be portable and easily transportable.
FRONT-LOADING WASHING MACHINE
Provided is a front-loading washing machine including a cabinet having a front panel, in which the front panel is provided with an opening; a tub having an access port for loading and unloading laundry, in which the tub is disposed in the cabinet and configured in such a manner that the access port is capable of being moved up and down in the opening; a rotatable drum, disposed in the tub; a door unit, mounted to the tub, and configured to cover the access port; and a driving mechanism configured to drive the tub to rotate, in which the driving mechanism is provided in the cabinet and coupled to the tub. The front-loading washing machine according to embodiments of the present disclosure has advantages of user-friendliness, little abrasion clothes and water conservation.
WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine including a module housing that can accommodate a communication module is provided, which includes a front panel on which an inlet port for putting laundry there through is formed, and a control panel arranged on an upper portion of the front panel, wherein the control panel includes a first opening provided thereon to arrange an operation portion for operating the washing machine therein, a circuit board mounted thereon to receive a signal that is input from the operation portion, and a module housing mounted thereon and having an accommodation space for accommodating at least a part of a communication module for the washing machine to communicate with an external device.

The present invention relates to a washing machine (7) and pump (8) for a washing machine (7). The pump is driven by a brushless DC motor (38). The pump can be controlled to improve the operation of the washing machine. In one aspect the invention comprises a washing machine (7) with a variable speed pump (8) for pumping out wastewater, a controller (50) for controlling the speed of the pump and a sensor (10) for determining the flow-rate of water being pumped from the washing machine, wherein the controller (50) controls the speed of the pump to maintain the flow-rate at a desirable level.
Electronic care and content clothing label
The technology disclosed here encodes a clothing item ID as an alphanumeric code within the clothing item, such as within a radio-frequency identification tag. A clothing item cleaning appliance, such as a cell phone, or a washing machine reads the clothing item ID from the clothing item, and retrieves the care and content information from a database maintained on a cloud. For example, the care and content information can include operating settings of the washing machine. The washing machine can adjust its settings and wash the clothing item in accordance with the care and content information of the clothing item. The care and content information stored in the database can be organized in optimized data structures enabling efficient responses to received queries, and efficient updates to the information stored in the data structures.
WASHING APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a washing apparatus and to a washing apparatus having a convenient user interface. More specifically, the present invention relates to a washing apparatus that provides a user interface that is concentrated, simple and intuitive. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a washing apparatus may be provided that is characterized by comprising: an annular rotary knob provided for course selection; a display for selectively displaying a course screen showing information on a course selected from within the radial directions of the rotary knob, and an options screen for changing options for at least one wash water temperature; washing intensity, number of rinses, and spin-dry intensity within the course; a switching input part provided within the radial directions of the rotary knob in order to switch between the course screen and the options screen through a selection by a user; and a single variable input part provided to change the options when in the options screen and to make inputs unrelated to the options when in the course screen.

The present invention relates to a washer and, particularly, to a washer providing a plurality of washer settings and formed so as to enable the changing of at least one option involved in a specific washer setting when the specific washer setting is selected from the plurality of washer settings, the washer comprising: an operation part formed to be rotatable so as to select the specific washer setting and the at least one option involved in the specific washer setting; a display part formed to selectively display, on the radial inner side of the operation part, input items including at least one of a plurality of washer setting icons, option icons, which are respectively involved in the plurality of washer setting icons, for the at least one option, and a start icon; at least one command input part provided at the radial outer side of the display part and the radial inner side of the operation part, and formed to input the washer setting selected by the operation part, change the at least one option, and input a signal for executing and stopping the selected washer setting; and a control part for controlling the display part such that preset information is displayed on the display part on the basis of the signals from the operation part and the command input part.
MULTI-DRUM WASHING MACHINE AND DRAINAGE CONTROL METHOD
A multi-drum washing machine drainage control method, the multi-drum washing machine at least comprising a first washing drum and a second washing drum; the method comprising: when the first washing drum reaches a drainage process, determining whether the second washing drum is draining; if yes, then the first washing drum waits for the second washing drum to finish draining before starting to drain; and if not, then determining whether the first washing drum waits for the second washing drum to finish draining before starting to drain. Alternatively, when the first washing drum reaches the drainage process, determining whether the second washing drum is draining or dehydrating; if yes, then the first washing drum waits for the second washing drum to finish draining before starting to drain; and if not, then determining whether the first washing drum waits for the second washing drum to finish draining before starting to drain.

A dewatering machine including: a dewatering tank, formed in a cylindrical shape with a central axis extending in a direction inclined relative to an up-down direction; a balancing ring coaxially arranged in the dewatering tank, liquid for achieving rotational balance of the dewatering tank is contained in the balancing ring and flows freely; a control part.
