LOW-RATE BATTERY DESIGN
An electrochemical cell comprising a cathode and an anode residing within a casing, the anode being positioned distal of the cathode. The cathode having a cathode current collector having an angled configuration that encourages the cathode active material to move in an axial distal direction during cell discharge. The cathode current collector may be configured having at least one fold thereby dividing the current collector into at least two portions having an angle therebetween. The cathode current collector may comprise a wire having a helical configuration or the cathode current collector may comprise a post with a thread having a helical orientation about the post exterior. A preferred chemistry is a lithium/CF.sub.x activated with a nonaqueous electrolyte.

ELECTRICITY STORAGE PACK
An electricity storage pack includes an electricity storage module having a plurality of power storage elements, a first voltage signal wire through which signals regarding voltages of the power storage elements in the electricity storage module are transmitted, and a base member on which the electricity storage module is placed and that has a holding portion for holding the first voltage signal wire, in which the first voltage signal wire is routed in a space located between the electricity storage module and the base member.
BATTERY PACK
A battery pack may include a battery cell with a cell lead; a bus bar bonded to the cell lead and having a terminal pin; a connection board having the bus bar mounted thereon; and a printed circuit board (PCB). The PCB may have a terminal clip selectively connected to and disconnected from the terminal pin of the bus bar. The battery pack may also include a PCB housing defining a PCB accommodation space accommodating the PCB. The battery pack may further include a locking part that, in a first locking state, locks the PCB housing to the connection board at a first position where the terminal pin of the bus bar does not elastically deform the terminal clip of the PCB; and in a second locking state, lock the PCB housing to the connection board at a second position where the terminal pin elastically deforms the terminal clip.
MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ALL-SOLID-STATE BATTERY, MANUFACTURING APPARATUS FOR ALL-SOLID-STATE BATTERY, AND ALL-SOLID-STATE BATTERY
A manufacturing method for an all-solid-state battery includes: producing a laminated battery having both end surfaces in a lamination direction and a side surface by laminating pluralities of collector layers, positive electrode mixture layers, solid electrolyte layers, and negative electrode mixture layers; supplying a liquid resin to only the side surface of the laminated battery; and curing the liquid resin. Producing the laminated battery by protruding at least one layer of the collector layer, the positive electrode mixture layer, the solid electrolyte layer, and the negative electrode mixture layer relative to remaining of the layers to form a protruding layer. Protruding a plurality of protruding layers from the side surface of the battery. Supplying the resin involves supplying the liquid resin to only the side surface of the laminated battery such that the liquid resin penetrates into a clearance between one protruding layer and another protruding layer.
Film covered battery and method for screening same
A film covered battery has a battery element equipped with a plurality of electrode plates laminated via separators, and an exterior film for hermetically sealing the battery element. A cover film is attached to a hollow present in predetermined regions set on a surface of the exterior film. The predetermined regions are regions obtained by removing overlap regions from projected regions obtained by projecting the electrode plates to the surface of the exterior film, the overlap regions being regions where the projected regions overlap with members interposed between the electrode plates at the outermost layers and the exterior film. It is possible to cover the hollow on the surface, without increasing the thickness of the film covered battery.
