A method for planning an arthroplasty procedure on a patient bone. The method may include accessing generic bone data stored in a memory of a computer, using the computer to generate modified bone data by modifying the generic bone data according to medical imaging data of the patient bone, using the computer to derive a location of non-bone tissue data relative to the modified bone data, and superimposing implant data and the modified bone data in defining a resection of an arthroplasty target region of the patient bone.
DEPTH-BASED DIGITAL FINGERPRINTING
Digital fingerprints include data indicative of interior features or structures of an object. The physical object may be rigid or malleable. The digital fingerprints may also include data indicative of features on an exterior surface of the object. Digital fingerprints may uniquely identify an object with respect to other objects, even with respect to other objects of a same type or class of objects. The technology may be relatively invariant to changes in scale, rotation, affine, homography, perspective, and illumination as between a reference digital fingerprint and a later acquired or generated digital fingerprint. Digital fingerprints may be used to authenticate an object as being a second instance or appearance of a previously digitally fingerprinted object.
Privacy Protection Through Template Embedding
A mechanism is provided to implement a personally identifiable information (PII) detection mechanism that facilitates privacy protection utilizing template embedding learned from text sequences. Input text is processed using natural language processing to identify one or more pieces of personally identifiable information. A character analysis is performed of each character of each piece of personally identifiable information of the one or more pieces of personally identifiable information to identify a character type of character in the piece of personally identifiable information. For each piece of personally identifiable information and based on the associated identified character type, the identified character type is mapped to an associated template character in a set of template characters in a template character data structure. Utilizing the character-to-template mappings for the one or more pieces of personally identifiable information, an output text is generated that projects the template characters by direct character-level mapping.

An augmented reality system including processors and storage devices storing instructions. The instructions may configure the processors to perform operations including determining a location of a mobile device, identifying a facility based on the location, requesting mapping data from a facility server, the mapping data comprising a plurality of vehicles, vehicle location data, and landmarks, identifying one location attribute in a video feed captured by an augmented reality viewer displayed in the mobile device, and determining whether the one location attribute matches the plurality of vehicles or the landmarks. The operations may also include identifying qualified vehicles from the vehicles based on qualification criteria, determining whether the qualified vehicles is in a field of view of the augmented reality viewer based on object attributes and the vehicle location data, and generating a modified video feed by providing an indication associated with qualified vehicles in the field of view.

The method for displaying a business object in a video image includes: detecting at least one target object from a video image, and determining a feature point of the at least one target object; determining a display position of a to-be-displayed business object in the video image according to the feature point of the at least one target object; and drawing the business object at the display position by using computer graphics. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the method and apparatus are conductive to saving network resources and system resources of a client.
Segment-based pattern matching algorithm
A system and method for matching a pattern may include generating a set of model descriptors representative of segment features of a first imaged object. A set of query descriptors representative of segment features of a second imaged object may be generated. A first model segment may be selected to align with the query segments to determine if any of the query segments correspond with the first model segment based on respective model descriptors and query descriptors. An hypothesis may be generated by computing a transformation to match the selected first model descriptor with a query descriptor. The hypothesis may be validated by a model fitting algorithm when comparing other transformed model descriptors with other query descriptors. Based on a consensus value from the model fitting algorithm, a determination as to whether a pattern match exists between the first and second images may be made.

For example, one method may include: generating MRI knee coil two dimensional images, wherein the knee coil images include a knee region of a patient; generating MRI body coil two dimensional images, wherein the body cod images include a hip region of the patient, the knee region of the patient and an ankle region of the patient; in the knee coil images, identifying first locations of knee landmarks; in the body coil images, identifying second locations of the knee landmarks; run a transformation with the first and second locations, causing the knee coil images and body coil images to generally correspond with each other with respect to location and orientation.
