Manufacturing method of secondary battery, secondary battery, and assembled battery
A secondary battery includes an opening portion provided to a case. A first sealing body is provided to the opening portion, the first sealing body being displaced or deformed by a pressure difference between an inside and an outside of the case in such manners that the first sealing body is pressed by internal pressure to allow outflow of inside air from the opening portion when the internal pressure in the case is higher than external pressure and that the first sealing body is pressed by the external pressure to prevent entry of outside air from the opening portion when the internal pressure in the case is lower than the external pressure. Pressure in a space surrounded with the case and the first sealing body is set to be lower than pressure outside the space.
Electric storage device
An electric storage device including an electrode assembly, a case holding the electrode assembly therein, the case including a container, a lid formed in an opening of the container and including a long side and a short side, and a gas exhausting portion comprising a safety valve formed in the lid, the safety valve being configured to open to exhaust internal gas when an internal pressure reaches a specific level, and a sealing member formed on an outer surface of the lid, the sealing member including a short side which is adjacent to the short side of the lid, and a long side which is adjacent to the long side of the lid, and the sealing member including a protective portion formed over the gas exhausting portion, the protective portion comprising a perforation.
Power storage device
To provide a highly reliable power storage device, to improve the security of a power storage device, and to suppress deterioration of a power storage device, a power storage device includes, inside an exterior material, a positive electrode, a negative electrode facing the positive electrode, an electrolyte solution between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and an adsorbent. A separation body which is impermeable to the electrolyte solution and permeable to a gas is provided between the electrolyte solution and the adsorbent.
Secondary battery
The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a case accommodating the electrode assembly, a cap plate sealing the case and including an inversion plate, and a terminal assembly. The terminal assembly includes an insulation plate coupled to a top surface of the cap plate and having a short-circuit hole corresponding to the inversion plate and an air hole spaced apart from the short-circuit hole, a terminal plate coupled to a top surface of the insulation plate and electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and a sealing member coupled to a bottom surface of the insulation plate and opening or closing the air hole.
Pouch type secondary battery having safety vent
The present invention relates to a pouch type secondary battery. The pouch type secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, and a pouch type case in which the electrode assembly is accommodated, the pouch type case comprising a sealing part disposed on an edge thereof. The sealing part includes an inner sealing part forming a closed curve to protect the electrode assembly against the outside, and an outer sealing part defining a gas flow path between the inner and outer sealing parts to surround a peripheral portion of the inner sealing part, the outer sealing part having a safety vent.
Secondary battery abnormality notification system
A secondary battery abnormality notification system includes a module string formed by stacking two or more modules in a vertical direction, the modules each being formed by containing a large number of secondary battery cells, a conduit pipe extending from an upper position to a lower position of the module string, a detection unit provided at a lower position of the module string and configured to draw in a measurement target gas from the conduit pipe to detect concentration of active material contained in the measurement target gas, and a notification section configured to detect occurrence of an abnormality at least based on an output of the detection unit and notify that the abnormality has occurred.
VENTILATION CONDUIT FOR AN AIRCRAFT
According to an embodiment, an aircraft comprises a fuselage including composite skin; an enclosure located inside the fuselage; a rechargeable battery disposed inside the enclosure; and a ventilation conduit extending from the enclosure to an opening in the composite skin, the ventilation conduit including: a first portion having a first end coupled to the enclosure and a second end spaced from the composite skin, and a second portion extending between the composite skin and the second end of the first portion, the second portion comprising an electrically non-conductive material.
Vehicle installed battery pack with pressure release structure
A vehicle installed battery pack is provided with a pressure release structure. The vehicle installed battery pack includes a battery pack case, a battery pack module. The battery pack case includes a battery pack lower frame and a battery pack upper cover. The battery pack module is disposed in the battery pack lower frame. The battery pack upper cover is securely joined to the battery pack lower frame via a seal member that extends continuously about an entire perimeter of respective outside peripheral edge portion of the battery pack upper cover. The battery pack upper cover includes a deforming stepped portion having a height difference at least in a heightwise direction; and a weakly joined portion having a lower joint strength than other joined portions being set in an area of the seal member extending continuously about the entire perimeter. The area corresponds to the deforming stepped portion.
Battery unit
A battery unit includes the following elements: a battery module that includes a plurality of battery cells and a gas discharge opening for discharging gas jetted from each of the battery cells; and a gas discharge duct in communication with the gas discharge opening and discharging the gas to the outside of the battery module. The gas discharge duct includes at least one duct outlet of which cross-sectional area of the channel in the duct outlet or the sum of cross-sectional areas of the channel in the respective duct outlets is larger than a cross-sectional area of the channel on the upstream side in the flow direction of the gas. The gas discharge duct also includes a temperature reducing member that is fixed to the periphery of the duct outlet so as to block part of the channel and reduces the temperature of the gas going through gaps.
Battery pack
A battery pack includes a battery cell, a case having a housing space accommodating the battery cell, an exhaust tube connecting the housing space to outside of the case; a treatment agent container connected to the exhaust tube, and a supply controller between the exhaust tube and the treatment agent container.
