IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, SYSTEM, CONVERSION METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus, system, method, and control program stored in a non-transitory recording medium are provided each of which obtains image data of a document; determines an arrangement pattern of each of a plurality of character strings in the image data, based on positional relationship of the plurality of character strings; and generates a text data file including the plurality of character strings each being arranged according to the arrangement pattern that is determined.
Language element vision augmentation methods and devices
Near-to-eye displays support a range of applications from helping users with low vision through augmenting a real world view to displaying virtual environments. The images displayed may contain text to be read by the user. It would be beneficial to provide users with text enhancements to improve its readability and legibility, as measured through improved reading speed and/or comprehension. Such enhancements can provide benefits to both visually impaired and non-visually impaired users where legibility may be reduced by external factors as well as by visual dysfunction(s) of the user. Methodologies and system enhancements that augment text to be viewed by an individual, whatever the source of the image, are provided in order to aid the individual in poor viewing conditions and/or to overcome physiological or psychological visual defects affecting the individual or to simply improve the quality of the reading experience for the user.
SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC GENERATION OF A TRANSMISSION INTERFACE BRIDGE FOR COMPUTING PLATFORMS
Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for system for dynamic generation of a transmission interface bridge for computing platforms. The present invention is configured to retrieve information associated with a first user interface associated with a first computing device; initiate a GCN algorithm on the first user interface; generate a graphical representation of the first user interface; transform the graphical representation of the first user interface into one or more code blocks associated with HTML and/or CSS; load the one or more code blocks on a cross-platform GUI platform logic; initiate an embedding of the cross-platform GUI platform with an emulator high level language application programming interface (EHLLAPI) to emulate the first user interface by superimposing the second user interface over the first user interface; transmit control signals configured to cause a second computing device to display, using the cross-platform GUI platform logic, the second user interface
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS FOR AUTOMATICALLY EXTRACTING INFORMATION FROM A FLOWCHART IMAGE
A method of extracting information from a flowchart image comprising a plurality of closed-shaped data nodes having text enclosed within, connecting lines connecting the plurality of closed-shaped data nodes and free text adjacent to the connecting lines includes receiving the flowchart image, detecting the closed-shaped data nodes, localizing the text enclosed within the closed-shaped data nodes, and masking the localized text.to generate an annotated image. Lines in the annotated image are the detected to reconstruct them as closed-shaped data nodes and connecting lines. A tree frame with the plurality of closed-shaped data nodes and the connecting lines is extracted. The free text is then localized. Chunks of the free text oriented and positioned proximally together are assembled into text blocks using an orientation-based two-dimensional clustering.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING ACCURATE TRANSACTION DATA AND MANIPULATION
In a system and method for auditing transactions where a set of image based transactions are received over a communications network, and stored in a central data store, the set of image based transactions are associated with a unique identifier associated with a user. A transaction format is identified from the set of image based transactions, utilizing a processor to apply a preprocessing to the set of image based transaction based on the identifying. The preprocessed image based transactions are processed into a series of text based transactions, wherein each image based transaction has a related text based transactions and each text based transaction has a plurality of data representing the transaction. The plurality of data for each text based transaction is stored and a quality identifier is associated with each text based transaction. An identifier is applied to a text based transaction based on the quality identifier.
Systems and methods for remote deposit of checks
Remote deposit of checks can be facilitated by a financial institution. A customer's general purpose computer and image capture device may be leveraged to capture an image of a check and deliver the image to financial institution electronics. Additional data for the transaction may be collected as necessary. The transaction can be automatically accomplished utilizing the images and data thus acquired.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DEPOSITING AND CHECKING OF BAGGAGE INTO AIRLINE FLIGHTS
A baggage drop system is disclosed for depositing and checking of baggage into airline flights. The baggage drop system can include a substantially horizontal frame member. The frame member can be mounted above a first conveyor equipped with a static or dynamic weighting scale. The frame member can also be mounted away from an end of the first conveyor at a distance from an upper surface of the first conveyor substantially equal to a maximum allowable height of baggage thereby forming a physical barrier for oversized baggage. A computer can be configured to compare an output of the weighing scale with allowable baggage weights.
Image capture for identity verification and recordation
Methods for capturing an image for identity verification and recordation are provided. The methods may include receiving, at a specialized processing device, transfer data from a remote terminal. The methods may include determining, based on the transfer data, that an identity verification process is required to execute the transfer data. The methods may include sending, based on a determination that the identity verification process is required, a first image file to the terminal for display. The methods may include receiving from a mobile device, information derived from the first image file which identifies the transfer data and a second image file. The methods may include determining, whether the second image file meets a predefined criteria associated with the transfer data identified by the information derived from the first image file. The methods may include sending an authorization signal upon determining that the second image file meets the criteria.
Detection of whether mobile computing device is pointing to visual code
First and second confidence values are determined. The first confidence value corresponds to a likelihood that, from a position and an orientation of a mobile computing device, the mobile computing device is pointing to a visual code. The second confidence value corresponds to a likelihood that, from an image captured by the mobile computing device, the mobile computing device is pointing to the visual code. Whether the mobile computing device is pointing to the visual code is determined based on the first confidence value and the second confidence value.
Image processing apparatus, method and program
According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a memory and a hardware processor in communication with the memory. The hardware processor is acquire an image obtained by photographing at least one detection target, detect the detection target from the image obtained, and instruct re-photographing of the detection target based on a result of the detection target.
