Reverse split brim
Embodiments are disclosed for headwear including a folding brim. For example, the headwear may include a headwear body including a crown, and a hat brim extending from the crown, the hat brim including one or more slits forming a hinge on an underside of the hat brim for folding the hat brim, each slit being reinforced with bias material along each edge of the slit and a center webbing over an opening formable under the slit when the brim is in a folded position, the bias material being coupled to an inner surface of each edge of the slit.
Disposable visor
A disposable visor to be worn on a user's head comprises a substantially flat body made of a flexible sheet material. The flat body includes a bill section that projects forwardly from the user's head when the visor is worn by the user to shield the user's face from the sun and a head-band section that connects to the bill section and forms a continuous uninterrupted band that encircles the user's head. A head opening is formed in the flat body and is configured to receive the user's head. A plurality of flexible fingers surrounds the head opening and are adapted to engage the user's head when the visor is worn by the user. During use, the fingers bend upwardly when the visor is placed on the user's head to adjust the head opening to the size of the user's head.
Adjustable, configurable hat
An adjustable, configurable hat is described that can be configured to accommodate a variety of hairstyles. In general, the adjustable, configurable hat has a crown member, an enlarged opening and a panel that is releasably attachable to the crown member. In one example, the adjustable, configurable hat generally has an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the closed configuration, the panel is releasably attached to the crown member by the fastening mechanisms, covers the enlarged opening and generally has the appearance of a hat that is not adjustable and configurable. In the open configuration, the panel is releasably attached to the inside of the crown member by the fastening members such that it is not visible when the hat is worn and the enlarged opening allows the wearer of the hat to wear a variety of hairstyles while wearing the hat. In both configurations, the fastening mechanisms and the panel are hidden by the crown member. In another example, the crown is split down the back center to have a left and right half and the hat can be configured to its open configuration by separating the left half from the right half and folding each half inside two respective pockets inside the hat.
CONVERTIBLE CAP THAT CONVERTS INTO A VISOR
A headwear item includes a bill and a head-covering portion. The headwear item is adapted to be interconvertible between a head-covering configuration, such as a cap, and a coverless configuration, such as a visor.
Collapsible Shapeable Hat
The present invention is directed to a collapsible, shapeable hat. Exemplary embodiments of the collapsible, shapeable hat include a crown and a brim, the crown composed of material shaped to cover a head and including an outer edge, the brim extending from the outer edge of the crown and brim including an interior region and an outer perimeter. The interior region is composed of pliant material. The brim is joined to the outer edge of the crown and extending distally from the outer edge such that the interior region is adjacent the outer edge and the outer perimeter is further distal to the crown. A semi-rigid line is secured to the brim, the semi-rigid line being a semi-rigid length of material granular manipulable laterally and longitudinally substantially along its entire length, enabling lateral and longitudinal manipulation along the majority of points of its length.
Removable, interchangeable, moisture retaining, friction reducing head-wear lining
The present invention is a removable, reusable and interchangeable multi-shell lining configured for placement within a hat member, cap or any sort of head-wear for adjustable thermal comfort, moisture retention, reduction of friction thus reducing frizz and breakage of naturally dry and curly hair. The lining is comprised of a satin outer shell, satin-encased thermal middle shell and waterproof inner shell. The three shells, which are not bonded together, provide optimal moisture retention, reduction of friction of hair and thermal comfort. The three constituent shells are intended for contact with the wearer, can be interchanged and or used as a single shell lining while still maintaining hair moisture and reducing hair frizz and breakage.
Hat with an Adjustable Brim Size
A hat with a variable brim. The wearer of the hat may select to wear a hat with a given brim length. The wearer may choose to extend the brim length by fastening a material, an extendable brim portion, to the original brim of the hat. In this manner, the hat wearer may adjust the brim length to satisfy the hat wearer's needs.
REVERSIBLE HAT
A reversible cover apparatus, comprises: a cover portion having an opening configured for receiving an object to cover the object; and a pouch portion coupled to the cover portion, the pouch portion having an opening for receiving the cover portion; wherein the reversible cover apparatus is reversible between: a first position as a covering for an object wherein the pouch portion is disposed in the cover portion and the cover portion opening can receive an object to cover the object; and a reversed, second position, wherein the cover portion is disposed within the pouch portion through the pouch portion opening, and an outer surface of the pouch portion provides an external appearance of a desired item.
Protective headgear
A protective headgear for equestrian use provides a traditional style cowboy hat with protective features to allow it to comply with prevailing equestrian helmet standards. The hat includes interior protective padding in the top of the dome, exterior protective padding below the crown of the dome, and exterior protective padding on the rear of the hat below the brim. The protective padding may be secured to the hat by adhesive, stitching, or mechanical fasteners. A chin strap securement system comprising mutually connectable strap-and-buckle assemblies is optionally provided.
Balaclava hood system
A disposable aspirated inflatable safety protection balaclava hood system and apparatus designed to protect the human head and neck from injury resulting from sports impacts with a crash sensor arrangement in which acceleration, angular, rotational, extension or flexion motion resulting from an impact force requires deployment of an apparatus protection device. The method embodies an inherent bladder airbag system that is deployed with resulting impact force on the sensor arrangement using an actuation mechanism and an inflation interconnected bladder system, or tube(s) resulting in release of the inert compressed inert gas in a cartridge actuation mechanism using a triggering mechanism, which is held in an interior pocket of the hood resulting in aspiration of the inflatable safety bladder protection hood.
