A device comprises a spring and a sleeve. The spring is configured to form a closed loop. The spring is moveable between a coiled configuration when the spring is collapsed and an uncoiled configuration when the spring is expanded. The spring defines a circumference while in the uncoiled configuration. The spring is disposed within the sleeve.

Personal watercraft footrests

A personal watercraft has a hull and a deck. The hull defines at least in part a tunnel. A ride plate is connected to the hull and defines a bottom wall of the tunnel. The personal watercraft also has a motor, a jet propulsion system disposed at least in part in the tunnel, and a steering assembly. The deck has a pedestal, left and right gunnels, left and right foot-wells disposed laterally between the pedestal and their respective gunnel, and a rear platform. A straddle seat is disposed on the pedestal. Left and right footrests have left and right standing surfaces facing substantially forward and extending at least partially forward of the tunnel. The left footrest extends laterally between the pedestal and the left gunnel. The right footrest extends laterally between the pedestal and the right gunnel.

Multi-purpose collaspible personal watercraft
10053199 · 2018-08-21 ·

A multi-purpose personal watercraft for deployment in different configurations as desired by a user. The multi-purpose personal watercraft comprises a base frame which forms a watercraft base which includes side extensions, an aft floor board, and a bow portion, as well as two opposing mirror image side floats with which the base frame is selectively integrated. When in place, the opposing side floats form the multi-purpose personal watercraft's U shaped hull and enable the selective attachment of a rudder assembly behind the multi-purpose personal watercraft's stern. With respect to propulsion, base frame is configured to enable the selective deployment of pedal propellers, a user's legs, or a trolling motor. A dual steering system enables the control of up to two discrete steering mechanisms from a single position on the watercraft.

Personal watercraft

A personal watercraft comprises a body; a driving power source mounted in the body; a water jet pump driven by the driving power source to eject a water jet in a rearward direction; a handle bar gripped by a rider; a rider operation member provided on the handle bar, the rider operation member being operated by the rider to be movable to an acceleration position for providing a forward movement command, a deceleration position for providing a rearward movement command, and a neutral position for providing an idling command, the neutral position being set to a position between the acceleration position and the deceleration position in a movement path of the rider operation member; and a control unit which controls the driving power source in response to the rider's operation for moving the rider operation member.
