NOISE PREVENTING EEG RECORDING CAP
A noise preventing EEG recording cap that reduces the noise that occurs during EEG recording. The EEG cap mainly includes an inner layer that separates the electronic recording section, Electromagnetic isolation middle layer, the outer area of the cap that provides water impermeability, a fluid transfer channel onto which hydrogel is applied for situations besides under water usage, an ADC unit provided for each electrode located in the signal layer, DC power supply that prevents the noise caused by the electric line, a secondary recording unit that enables use of different algorithms in order to prevent artifacts and to obtain other noise sources, that allows other electrophysiological noises and artifact sources to be simultaneously recorded and as a result allows these sample in time intervals where noise is not present and the records to be separated, and a DSP that processes signals on the data recording unit.
DISTRIBUTED VEHICLE SYSTEM CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A distributed control system includes a remote control system configured to be communicatively coupled with plural separate vehicle systems. The remote control system is configured to remotely control operation of the vehicle systems and/or communicate with the local vehicle control system or operator. The remote control system also is configured to one or more of change how many of the vehicle systems are concurrently controlled by the remote control system or change how many remote operators of the remote control system concurrently control the same vehicle system of the vehicle systems.
TONGUE LOCALIZATION, TEETH INTERACTION, AND DETECTION SYSTEM
A computer-implemented method for identifying tongue movement comprises detecting an electroencephalography (EEG) signal from an EEG sensor. The EEG sensor is configured to sense the EEG signal generated by a brain in association with a tongue movement. The method also comprises detecting the EMG signal from the EMG sensor. The EMG sensor is configured to sense the EMG signal generated by cranial nerve stimulation of muscles associated with the tongue movement. The method also includes identifying the tongue movement based on the EEG signal and the EMG signal. The method then includes correlating the tongue movement with one of a plurality of tongue location areas.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PAIN MONITORING USING A MULTIDIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS OF PHYSIOLOGICAL SIGNALS
The present invention is for a method and system for pain classification and monitoring optionally in a subject that is an awake, semi-awake or sedated.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED PERSONALIZED BRAIN MODULATION WITH PHOTOBIOMODULATION
The present invention provides a novel photobiomodulation (PBM) system and method that comprehensively directs therapeutic light energy into the brain from a combination of transcranial (through the skull) and intranasal (via the nasal channels) locations. Preferably, the present invention also provides a system and method whereby the PBM device of the present invention works in combination with a diagnostic tool to provide enhanced treatment of abnormal brain function intelligently, automatically, and unrestricted by geographical distances.
Electroencephalograph, brain wave measurement method, brain wave measurement system
The object is to acquire electroencephalogram of high resolution with fewer number of electrodes than usual. An electroencephalogram measurement apparatus comprising: a plurality of electrodes 110 attached on the scalp of a subject for acquisition of electroencephalogram signals of the subject; and an electroencephalogram generation unit 150 for generating an electroencephalograms at locations of the scalp where the electrodes are attached and electroencephalograms at locations of the scalp where the electrodes are not attached.
Communication network of in-ear utility devices having sensors
An embodiment of the invention provides a wireless in-ear utility device that rests in the user's ear canal near the user's eardrum. The in-ear utility device may be configured in a variety of ways, including, but in no way limited to a smart in-ear utility device, a flexible personal sound amplification product, a personal music player, a walkie-talkie and the like.
Information processing device and non-transitory computer-readable medium
An information processing device includes a receiver that receives a specification of a desired brain wave state of a user, and a controller that controls playback of music causing a brain wave state of the user to transition to or maintain the desired brain wave state.
Head-mountable adjustable devices for generating magnetic fields
Helmets for applying a magnetic field to the head of a subject, comprising: a housing comprising a concave surface configured to receive a portion of the head of the subject; a motor coupled to one or more of: a first permanent magnet via a first axle along a first axis of rotation, wherein the first axle drives movement of the first magnet; a second magnet via a second axle along a second axis of rotation wherein the second axle drives movement of the second magnet; and a third magnet via a third axle along the third axis of rotation wherein the third axle drives movement of the third magnet, wherein the axes are parallel; and a fit mechanism comprising a adjuster coupled to the first magnet, wherein movement of the adjustor moves the first magnet independently of the second or the third magnet.
System and method for monitoring cerebral activity
A patient monitor for monitoring cerebral activity of a patient may include a processor configured to determine a depth of consciousness index for the patient based on electroencephalography (EEG) data and determine regional oxygen saturation for the patient based on regional oximetry data. Additionally, the processor may be configured to determine a metric associated with cerebral activity of the patient based at least in part on the one or more values of the depth of consciousness index and the one or more regional oxygen saturation values and to provide the one or more values of a depth of consciousness index and the metric to an output device.
