Image processing of webpages
A web detection system processes webpage information and performs automated feature extraction of webpages including machine processable information. In an embodiment, the web detection system determines a subset of webpages having a target characteristic by processing markup language. For a webpage of the subset, the web detection system determines that a first image overlaps at least a portion of a second image in the webpage. The web detection system generates an image of the webpage such that the portion of the second image is obscured by the first image. The web detection system determines a graphical feature of the webpage by processing the image, e.g., using optical character recognition. Responsive to determining that the graphical feature corresponds to graphical features of images of a different set of webpages associated with a target entity, the web detection system determines that the webpage is also associated with the target entity.
CONTINUOUS LEARNING FOR DOCUMENT PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS
A document processing method includes receiving one or more documents, performing optical character recognition on the one or more documents to detect words comprising symbols in the one or more documents, and determining a encoding value for each of the symbols. It further includes applying a first hash function to each encoding value to generate a first set of hashed symbol values, applying a second hash function to each hashed symbol value to generate a vector array including a second set of hashed symbol values, and applying a linear transformation to each value of the second set of hashed symbol values of the vector array. The method also includes applying an irreversible non-linear activation function to the vector array to obtain abstract values associated with the symbols and saving the abstract values to train a neural network to detect fields in an input document.

A commodity detection terminal is disclosed, the commodity detection terminal includes: an image segmentation unit configured to obtain position information of each grid of a goods shelf in an image of the goods shelf based on a first image, which is an image of the goods shelf not placed with commodities; a detector unit configured to obtain a current grid where each commodity is located and a current quantity of each commodity based on a second image, which is a current image of the goods shelf placed with commodities; and a determination unit configured to compare the current grid and the current quantity with a preset grid and a preset quantity of the each commodity, so as to determine whether a status of each commodity satisfies a preset condition. A commodity detection method, an intelligent goods shelf system, a computer device, and a readable medium are also disclosed.
TEXT LINE NORMALIZATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method for estimating text heights of text line images includes estimating a text height with a sequence recognizer. The method further includes normalizing a vertical dimension and/or position of text within a text line image based on the text height. The method may also further include calculating a feature of the text line image. In some examples, the sequence recognizer estimates the text height with a machine learning model.
EXTRACTION METHOD, COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING EXTRACTION PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
An extraction method executed by a computer includes: acquiring a first word input by a first user; acquiring a second word input by a second user; calculating a first distributed representation of a first character string, the first character string including the first word and a character string that identifies the first user; calculating a second distributed representation of a second character string, the second character string including the second word and a character string that identifies the second user; calculating a similarity between the first distributed representation and the second distributed representation; and extracting a word associated with the second distributed representation on a basis of the similarity.
Collision Avoidance For Document Field Placement
Users of a database management engine may generate fillable digital documents by mapping interface elements onto form documents. When a user maps interface elements onto a form document, the user may accidentally overlap two or more interface elements. To rectify this, the database management engine may modify the position of one of interface elements based on a set of positioning rules. In addition, the database management engine may identify and suggest mappings to users based on similar documents that have been previously mapped. The database management engine identifies similar documents using information about the document, the user, and the mapping itself. The mapping associated with the most similar document may be provided to the user as a suggested mapping. The database management engine converts the form document and finalized mapping into a fillable digital document. The fillable digital document is sent to recipients, who complete the fillable digital document.
TEXT DETECTION USING GLOBAL GEOMETRY ESTIMATORS
Systems, processes and methods for detecting rotated or angled text in an image based on global text geometry estimations are provided. A method includes, at an electronic device with memory and one or more processors, receiving an image including a plurality of pixels (802); determining, based on the image, one or more pixels of the plurality of pixels included in the image that contain text (804); identifying, based on the one or more pixels that contain text, a plurality of components in the image (810); determining a subset of components based on the plurality of components (814); determining, based on the pixels that contain text of the subset of components, one or more candidate text angles (816); determining a global text angle based on the determined one or more candidate text angles (824); and determining a first plurality of bounding boxes based on the global text angle (830).
Rules driven interactions triggered on Webinar content retrieval and storage
A method for rules driven interactions for Webinar content retrieval and storage includes establishing a Webinar between a presenter and a live attendee, sharing a display of the presenter with the live attendee, detecting in the display a content portion and matching the content portion to one of a multiplicity of rules. Thereafter, the matched one of the rules is executed so as to present additional content in a user interface of the live attendee and the matched one of the rules is stored in a recording of the Webinar, with an indication at which point in time during the Webinar the matched one of the rules had been executed. Finally, the stored recording is retrieved and played back to an offline attendee through a user interface to the Webinar and the matched one of the rules is executed so as to present additional content to the offline attendee.
