Wake-Modifying Device for a Boat
A recreational sport boat includes a hull, having starboard and port sides and a transom, and a pair of wake-modifying devices positioned aft of the transom. One of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a port side of the boat's centerline and another of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a starboard side of the boat's centerline. Each wake-modifying device includes a plate-like member and at least one downturned surface at a trailing portion of the plate-like member. Each wake-modifying device is pivotable between a non-deployed position and a deployed position about a pivot axis that is horizontal or inclined no more than about 35 from horizontal. When a wake-modifying device is in the deployed position, the downturned surface is lower than it is in the non-deployed position so as to be able to modify the boat's wake.
WATERCRAFT FIN REMOVAL TOOL AND METHOD
A watercraft fin removal tool for facilitating the removal of a detachable fin coupled to a watercraft body. The tool comprises an elongate body having a fin engagement head at one end and a handle at an opposing end. In use, the head is configured to engage the fin such that a sufficient leverage force may be applied to the fin by the user at the head via the handle to detach the fin from the watercraft body. In the preferred embodiment, the tool is designed for the removal of detachable surfboard fins. But, it may also be configured to remove fins from other watercrafts, such as wakeboards, paddleboards and the like.
Standing torso support apparatus for paddleboards
A standing torso support apparatus for paddleboards has a base removably attachable to a paddleboard, an adjustable-height support leg extending upward from the base, and a torso support attached to the top of the support leg. A user may lean against the torso support to aid in balance or power.
WAKESURF SYSTEM
Wakesurf systems for improving and enlarging the wake behind a boat for wakesurfing. A wakesurf system can include a bracket configured to be attached to the hull of a boat. The bracket can be adhered to the hull. The wakesurf system can further include a magnetic connection between the bracket and a base of a wake forming assembly. The wake forming assembly may be collapsible and expandable. The wake forming assembly can including a base structure with a connector for attaching the base structure to the bracket when attached to the hull of the boat. The wake forming assembly can further include a water diverter pivotably attached to a second surface of the base structure and supports disposing the water diverter at an angle to the hull of the boat when the base structure is attached to the bracket and the wake forming assembly is in an expanded position.
Aft-facing transom seating for a boat
A boat, having a transom, includes an aft-facing seat. The aft-facing seat may be positioned proximate to the transom and includes a seat bottom that is inclined at a downward angle in a direction extending from aft to fore. A plurality of handles may be provided for the aft-facing seat, with one at an outboard side and another at an inboard side. The aft-facing seat may be configured to be occupied by a person while the boat is moving through the water such that the person's legs extend aft, over the transom.
Pool flotation tether assembly
An assembly and method for the use of a float in a pool. The assembly provides a stable platform to place food, drink, and decorations. Additionally, the assembly reduces the number of small animals drowning or dying in a pool by providing a stable platform in which to climb onto to get out of the water. The assembly includes a foam float, tether, and anchor. The anchor and tether confine the area the float can travel. The anchor is attached to the pool wall, eliminating a tripping hazard next to the pool.
MEASUREMENT DEVICE FOR USE WITH TRACTION PAD AND TRACTION PAD INCLUDING THE SAME
A measurement device for use with a traction pad. The measurement device may include a first container configured to hold a sensor, the first container including an opening connecting an inner side of the first container with an outer side, a second container configured to hold a processor, a watertight passage between the first and second containers which allows a signal communication between the sensor and the processor, a lid configured to seal the first and second containers, a power supply configured to supply power to the processor, and a switch disposed on an end of the measurement device which is accessible to a user.
Surf wake system for a watercraft
An adjustable surf wake system enhances a wake formed by a watercraft travelling through water. The system may include a flap for deflecting water traveling past the stern of the watercraft, and/or a positioner operably connected to the flap for positioning the flap relative to a longitudinal axis of the watercraft between a neutral position and an outward position. Positioning a port flap in its extended position enhances a starboard surf wake, and positioning the starboard flap in its extended position enhances a port surf wake.
DEVICE FOR REPAIRING A LEASH
A device is provided for repairing a leash. The device has a body defining an elongate slot for receiving severed ends of the leash. The slot has a wider section and a narrower section at one or both slot ends spaced apart from the wider section by a taper. Securing members are provided that are movable between a disengaged position in which the securing members are spaced apart from one or both slot ends and an engaged position in which each severed end is wedged and held captive between a securing member and a slot end.
WATER RIDE ATTRACTION INCORPORATING INTERACTIVE GAME PLAY
A waterslide attraction is provided that incorporates at least one waterslide element and at least one storyline element. Riders typically ride in a ride vehicle that may incorporate controls that may provide responses to stimuli presented during the ride. A user's responses to the stimuli are used to alter the storyline presented and may also alter ride characteristics. At the conclusion of the ride, a user is presented with a score.
