Position information transmission apparatus, position information transmission system, and vehicle
A navigation device serving as a position information transmission apparatus for transmitting position information about a vehicle to a position information service center includes a terminal ECU that is authorized to log in to the position information service center via networks. The terminal ECU is configured to, in a logged-in state to the position information service center, transmit the position information about the vehicle to the position information service center on condition that a predetermined operation has been performed.
Apparatus and methods for enabling location-based services within a premises
Apparatus and methods for enabling location identification and related services in a premises. In one embodiment, location identification services are provided via a gateway device using data extracted from a wireless signal. The data is used to estimate a location of a device (based on comparison to previously gathered and/or reference data). In another embodiment, infrared (IR) or other short range wireless signals are broadcast from the client devices to a set-top-box (STB), and the STB or gateway correlates the signals to a location within the premises. A profiling process is used to establish specific locations within a premises, and associate location-specific services therewith. The location-based services include for example (i) loading particular applications and/or content when the user enters a particular location, (ii) providing information and/or advertisement opportunities when the user is near a particular public or business location, and (iii) content delivery optimization among multiple user devices.
Method for vehicle electronic system intrusion detection
An embodiment is provided of a mobile router for installation in a vehicle comprising a vehicle network bus coupled to a plurality of electronic control units. The mobile router comprises: a processor; a memory comprising a plurality of programs; a wireless wide area network interface; a wireless local area network interface; and an interface to the vehicle network bus coupled to vehicle electronic control units. The processor utilizes the interface to monitor data on the vehicle network bus. The plurality of programs comprises an intrusion detection program executable by the processor to detect one or more anomalies in the monitored data; and to generate an alert upon detection of one or more anomalies.
Method, apparatus, and system for screening augmented reality content
A method, an apparatus, and a system for screening AR content is presented. The method includes shooting, by a terminal, a panoramic photo of a location of the terminal, and determining location information of the terminal and related information of a first target according to the panoramic photo; sending, by the terminal to a server, a first request message that carries an identifier of the terminal and the location information of the terminal; receiving, by the terminal, a first response message that carries at least one behavior and is from the server; sending, by the terminal, a second request message to the server; receiving, by the terminal, a second response message that carries AR content corresponding to the first behavior; and presenting, by the terminal, the first target and the AR content after combination according to the related information of the first target.
Generating spatial models using crowdsourcing
Contextual spatial models for indoor and outdoor structures are created from a plurality of devices using crowdsourcing. A method for creating a contextual spatial model for a premises includes receiving location information and contextual information from a plurality of devices. For each of the plurality of devices, the method receives location information of the device's location, and contextual information related to at least one of the device and a user associated with the device when the device is at the location. The method then determines a designation for each subject location within the premises by applying the received contextual information associated with the subject location to a location model (e.g., rules-based model or a machine learning model).
Bluetooth low energy location system and method
A BLE location system and method are disclosed. The BLE system may provide accurate location of a BLE enabled object in a three dimensional space. The three dimensional space may be a building and the BLE system and method permits accurate location at a room, bay, and bed level in the three dimensional space to be determined. In some embodiments, the BLE system may determine if a BLE enabled object crosses a boundary and the boundary may be, for example, a boundary to a room, such as a door, a boundary to a space, such as a hallway or meeting area, or a boundary to a particular location identified by set of coordinates (X,Y or X,Y,Z for example). The determination of the boundary crossing of the BLE enabled object or the location of the BLE enabled object may be used for staff and patient locating and their associated workflows as well as high accuracy asset tracking in a hospital embodiment.
INTELLIGENT SECURITY SYSTEM
The present invention provides an intelligent security system, where the system includes an in-vehicle information detection apparatus, a telecommunication server, a smartphone, and an unlocking apparatus, where the in-vehicle information detection apparatus sends collected instant vehicle information to the telecommunication server; the network server sends processed instant vehicle information to the smartphone by using a signal; the smartphone sends mobile phone control signal to the telecommunication server; the telecommunication server sends the mobile phone control signal to the in-vehicle information detection apparatus; the unlocking apparatus sends an unlocking signal to the in-vehicle information detection apparatus; and the smartphone and the unlocking apparatus receive a detection signal of an in-vehicle hardware apparatus. The present invention belongs to the technical field of electronic products. An objective of the present invention is to provide an intelligent security system having a real-time anti-theft function and a function of real-time information sharing after a vehicle is stolen.
TRIGGER-BASED TRANSFER OF CAR2X MESSAGE OF DIFFERENT STANDARDS (AS AMENDED)
A method for processing Car2X messages by a processing device designed to receive and process messages, the construction of which is defined according to different standards, preferably according to a first standard and a second standard, including: recording of the message by the processing device, identifying the standard used by the message, forwarding the message to an application unit of the processing device if the message uses the standard for which the application unit is designed, or otherwise creating a new message from the received message so that it can be processed by the application unit. The new message is created in accordance with at least one previously known content item within the received message.
Method for Navigation of a User Between a First Position Within a Building and a Second Position
A method for navigating a user between a first position within a building and a second position, or vice versa, includes creating, by a motor vehicle, map information describing at least one partial area of the building based on vehicle environment information created at the motor vehicle that describes objects in the environment around the motor vehicle. The method further includes providing, by the motor vehicle, parking information including a park position of the motor vehicle within the building and transferring the map information and the parking information to a mobile communication device. The mobile communication device is configured to create navigation information containing at least one navigation route between the first position and the second position, based on the transferred map information and the transferred parking information. The mobile communication device is configured to navigate the user between the first position and the second position using the navigation information.
DYNAMICALLY MANAGING A LISTEN LIST OF BEACON AWARE DEVICES
The described technology provides a system and method for dynamically managing a listen list for beacon aware devices. A mobile device may be configured to listen for one or more beacon UUIDs based on a listen list.
