AUTOMATIC MULTI-HOST DISCOVERY IN A FLOW-ENABLED SYSTEM
A computer-implemented method includes sending a broadcast over a network requesting a response from other host computers on the network that are also communicatively paired with the input device, receiving a broadcasted response from a second host computer on the network indicating that it is communicatively paired with the input device, establishing a communicative connection with the second host computer via the network and automatically reestablishing the connection with the second host computer when the second host computer disconnects and reconnects to the network. In response to an edge-detect event, sending a control signal to switch the communicative pairing of the input device from the first host computer to the second host computer.
RETROACTIVE MESSAGING FOR HANDLING MISSED SYNCHRONIZATION EVENTS
Various arrangements for handling delayed status update are presented. A network-enabled sensor unit may be used to measure an environmental condition. The sensor unit may determine, based on measuring the environmental condition, an environmental condition status has changed state. A network connection may be established that permits communication with a remote notification service system. This notification service system may maintain a remote status intended to be synchronized with the environmental condition status of the sensor unit. The sensor unit may determine that the environmental condition status has changed prior to communicating the environmental condition status to the notification service system. A historical status array may be transmitted to the notification service system in response to determining the environmental condition status has reverted to the first state prior to communicating the environmental condition status. The historical status array can indicate previous states of the environmental condition status of the sensor unit.
CELLULAR-WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK (WLAN) COEXISTENCE
A wireless device includes a first modem circuit, a second modem circuit, and one or more processor circuits. The first modem circuit supports wireless local area network (WLAN) communications. The second modem circuit supports long term evolution (LTE) and licensed assisted access (LAA) communications. The processor circuits determine free time intervals during which the second modem circuit is not engaged with a medium. The wireless device provides measurement reports to a base station. The first modem circuit enables the wireless device to perform the WLAN communications using the free time intervals without signaling to the base station.
BANDWIDTH-SHARING, INTELLIGENT NETWORK SWITCHING SYSTEM
The present invention provides a bandwidth-sharing, intelligent network switching system, wherein the system comprises a control processing unit, a network sharing user device, and a network user device. The control processing unit is connected to a third-party payment system, a location search module, a WiFi hotspot search module, bandwidth analysis module, and an authentication module. The control processing unit is further connected to the network sharing user device and the network user device. The network sharing user device shares network access with the network user device via the control processing unit, sets a price for bandwidth, and charges the network user device the price for the shared network access.
Intermittent Out of Service Recovery on Accessory Device
This disclosure relates to out of service recovery techniques for an accessory device. According to some embodiments, the accessory device may receive cellular communication system selection information from a paired device. The accessory device may store the communication system selection information. At some point, it may be determined that the accessory device has lost cellular communication service. The accessory device may perform a cellular communication service scan utilizing the system selection information received from the paired device along with its own historical information and location based frequency lists.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SETUP OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
A method and a device for setup of wireless communication is provided. The method includes recognizing at least one terminal present in a same space as the device, sending a request for a connection between the device and an access point (AP) to the at least one terminal, receiving AP information necessary for connection to the AP from the at least one terminal corresponding to the request, and attempting to connect to the AP based on the AP information.
METHOD AND APPARATUS OF ADD-ON WIRELESS CAMERA SOLUTION FOR VEHICULAR TRAILER APPLICATIONS
A method and apparatus are disclosed for wirelessly communicating signals from trailer-mounted cameras to a towing vehicle, where the techniques overcome packet loss challenges caused by interferences, fading and poor signal strength. An advanced spectrum hopping algorithm monitors conditions on multiple channels in multiple frequency bands, detects congestion or collisions needing mitigation, and migrates transmissions as needed to other channels with greater free capacity. Network coding techniques are provided which transmit data packets via multiple paths, where the redundancy provides robustness against data packet losses. The multiple path network coding approach may include spectral diversity, where packets are transmitted on different bands, and spatial diversity, where packets are transmitted via different routes such as direct and repeater-based.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WIRELESS USER EQUIPMENT ACCESS
A system and method for wireless user equipment access in a cellular wireless communication system, employing a single or plurality of Radio Access Technologies (RATs), is provided. The method based on configuring User Equipment (UE) capable of utilizing multiple RATs to simultaneously utilize all or a subset of RATs jointly supported by UE and connecting system radio Access Points (APs), with traffic split between utilized RATs facilitated by either the Radio Access Network (RAN) or UE, and UE facilitating the aggregation of traffic streams of utilized RATs.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED NETWORK ADVISOR
A network fix application may automatically determine a root cause of an issue with a wireless carrier network and generate a network fix prioritization to implement a solution for the root cause before receiving a customer or network trouble ticket. Initially, a data adaptor platform may receive performance data regarding user device and network components of a wireless carrier network from multiple data sources. The network fix application may analyze the performance data using a trained machine learning model to predict a root cause for the issue affecting the one or more user devices based on the symptoms indicated in the performance data. Additionally, the network fix application may analyze the performance data using another trained machine learning model to provide a network fix prioritization to implement a resolution for each predicted root cause in the most optimal order.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING A WIRELESS CONNECTION BETWEEN POWER TOOL AND MOBILE DEVICE
A method and system for connecting a power tool with a mobile device. The mobile device receives a user request to connect to a power tool and transmits a short-range advertisement. The power tool receives the short-range advertisement and transmits a signal. The mobile device receives the signal from the power tool and determines a signal strength. The mobile device compares the signal strength to a predetermined signal strength value. When the signal strength value exceeds the predetermined signal strength value, the mobile device connects with the power tool.
