An example in-vehicle computing system comprises a wireless communication interface including a soft wireless access point/group owner coupled to a physical network interface to provide access to a network, a processor, and a storage device storing instructions executable by the processor to receive a first request from a first device to initiate communication via a first wireless client of the first device, during communication via the first wireless client, receive a second request to initiate communication via a second wireless client, and identify a unique identifier of the second wireless client. The instructions are further executable to disconnect a connection to one or more devices via one or more associated wireless clients including the first wireless client, initiate communication via the second wireless client, and selectively re-establish communication via the one or more associated wireless clients.

USER EQUIPMENT

Techniques are disclosed for avoiding reduction in throughput due to redundant transmission of downlink packets when a split bearer is deleted. A user equipment includes a transmission and reception unit to communicate with a master base station and a secondary base station simultaneously in dual connectivity; an RLC (Radio Link Control) layer processing unit configured to have an RLC layer for the master base station and an RLC layer for the secondary base station; and a PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) layer processing unit configured to have a PDCP layer transmitting and receiving data to/from the RLC layer for the master base station and the RLC layer for the secondary base station. When the split bearer configured for the secondary base station is deleted, the RLC layer processing unit performs re-establishment on the RLC layer for the secondary base station and releases the split bearer after execution of the re-establishment.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR LOAD BALANCING IN MESH NETWORKS
20170303177 · 2017-10-19 ·

Provided is a technique for load balancing in a mesh network. The technique includes receiving a signal from a first gateway device of the mesh network and determining, responsive to the signal, whether a condition for connecting to the gateway device is satisfied. The method also includes initiating a first connection with the first gateway device when the condition is satisfied. A second connection is initiated between the node and a second gateway device (i) when the condition is not satisfied and (ii) when the first gateway device is at full capacity.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

A communication system includes a terminal apparatus, and an information processing apparatus. The terminal apparatus includes first circuitry to perform a direct connection with the information processing apparatus wirelessly, transmit an information processing request, requesting processing of information, to the information processing apparatus, and transmit a disconnection request of the direct connection to the information processing apparatus after transmitting the information processing request to the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes second circuitry to perform the direct connection with the first circuitry of the terminal apparatus wirelessly, process the information processing request received from the terminal apparatus, and disconnect the direct connection of the information processing apparatus and the terminal apparatus in response to receiving the disconnection request.

Radio resource control connection release message wait timer

Disclosed is a method that includes receiving, when in a radio resource control (RRC) Connected state, a RRC connection release message from a network access node; setting a wait timer in accordance with a wait timer indication that comprises part of the RRC connection release message; and upon an expiration of the wait timer, enabling the initiating of sending an RRC connection request message to the network access node. Also disclosed is a method that includes operating a network access node with mobile node and sending a RRC connection release message to the mobile node. The RRC connection release message comprises a wait timer indication for specifying an amount of time that the mobile node should wait before initiating the sending of a RRC connection request message. Various apparatus and computer programs stored on non-transitory computer-readable medium are disclosed that are configured to execute the methods.

Relay device and session control method

The relay device is configured to relay packet data between an information processing device and a mobile equipment, and the relay device includes a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to receive, from the information processing device, a session release request that requests release of a communication session set between the mobile equipment and the information processing device, and when there is not a wireless resource allocated to the mobile equipment, transmit a session release response to the session release request to the information processing device without transmitting the session release request to the mobile equipment.

Method for triggering aperiodic sounding reference symbol, base station and user equipment

A method for triggering an aperiodic sounding reference symbol, includes: receiving a Downlink Control Information (DCI) indicating a transmission of an aperiodic Sounding Reference Symbol (SRS) from a base station which configures a resource used for transmission of the aperiodic SRS; maintaining the resource for transmitting the aperiodic SRS when there is at least one of a loss of uplink synchronization when a timer relating to the uplink synchronization expires and a failure in transmission of a scheduling request transmitted more than a predetermined number of times; and executing a random access procedure.

Radio frequency resource management by preponing scheduled activities

Apparatuses and methods for a wireless communication device having multiple Subscriber Identity Modules (SIMs) in which a first SIM is associated with an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) subscription that supports IMS services. The method includes but not limited to, determining that an IMS activity has completed at the IMS subscription, and determining whether a timer for a scheduled IMS signaling exceeds a time threshold. The timer indicates a time duration until performing the scheduled IMS signaling as scheduled. The method further includes, in response to determining that the timer does not exceed the time threshold, performing the scheduled IMS signaling and releasing a connection for the IMS subscription.

Radio base station, router device, and mobile station

An object of the present invention is to perform appropriate priority control even when tethering is performed. A radio base station eNB of the present invention includes an instruction unit 12 configured to give an instruction to a priority call terminal UE#1 to transmit data through a mobile network when a transmission rate of data from the priority call terminal UE#1 falls below a predetermined threshold value in a state where a low priority call bearer is established between the radio base station eNB and a WiFi router 10.

Uplink signal transmission in carrier aggregation

A physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) secondary cell is in a first timing advance group. A wireless device receives a command initiating transmission of a preamble on the first TAG. The wireless device receives a response comprising a timing advance command (TAC) in subframe m. The wireless device starts transmission of uplink signals on the first TAG on or before subframe m+4. The wireless device starts transmission of valid channel state information (CSI) on the PUCCH secondary cell on or after subframe m+6.
