Integrating pre-hospital encounters into an electronic medical record
Methods, computer systems, and computer storage media are provided for integrating pre-hospital encounters into an electronic medical record (EMR). An electronic Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation (SBAR) tool is provided that guides a clinician to gather demographic information and encounter information. The demographic information associated with one or more patients is received via the SBAR tool. The encounter information is received via the SBAR tool. At least a portion of the demographic information and the encounter information is communicated via the SBAR tool, while in transit via an emergency vehicle, to a healthcare facility. The demographic information and the encounter information are integrated into an EMR associated with each patient.
Rating system, process and predictive algorithmic based medium for treatment of medical conditions in cost effective fashion and utilizing management pathways for customizing or modifying of a base algorithm by an accountable care organization or other payor in order to establish best treatment protocols and financial assessment tools for incentivizing care providers and for achieving improved clinical/functional outcomes
The present invention discloses a system, method and non-transitory software based computer writeable medium usable with a processor driven device for incentivizing service providers. A predictive algorithm which includes a series of protocols including a first protocol or subroutine for establishing a risk profile through stratifying a designated ACO population. A second subroutine operates by training the ACO doctors or other care providers in one or more of a series of medical related diagnosis and treatment programs. A third successive subroutine establishes one or more management pathways which are customizable by the ACO leadership and through establishing a questioning protocol for modifying/customizing the base algorithm for any one or more of a variety of treatment sub-species. A fourth subroutine provides care provider (e.g. doctor) feedback on the desired best practices for the given diagnosis and treatment sub-species resulting from the question and answer protocol achieved in the third subroutine. A fifth subroutine results in the creation (again by the ACO or other provider) of a scorecard for each individual care provider (doctor, therapist, etc.), such based primarily upon patient outcome assessment and accounting for patient complexities.
Systems and methods for retrieval of medical data
A system and method for transmitting medical data. In one embodiment, a computer system receives filter criteria from a user of a first computer. Furthermore, the computer system may receive schedule information defining a schedule for checking for medical data. Depending on the embodiment, either the computer system or a remote server periodically selects, based upon the received schedule, medical data satisfying the received user-specific rules. The selected medical data is then transmitted to the computer system.
System and method for displaying market information and order placement in an electronic trading environment
A system and method are provided for displaying a trading screen and placing an order in an electronic trading environment. The system and method may be used to assist a trader in selecting an item of interest, such as the inside market (best bid and best ask) to be displayed relative to a user configured location on the trading screen, such as the center of the trading screen. In a preferred embodiment, the inside market will stay located relative to center of the trading screen and the price levels associated to the inside market will move as the market conditions fluctuate. Other features and advantages are described herein.
Method to transform clinician order entry
A computer-implemented method receives, into a computerized system, routine electronic transmissions such as a clinician order entry (CPOE) order message relating to a patient. The order message is used to identify one of a number of pre-established templates to create an individualized wellness plan. The method identifies data variables that need to be supplied for the wellness plan and identifies patient documentation related to the wellness plan. The method supplies the data variables and combines patient documentation into the wellness plan. The method identifies and includes dependency-awareness of tasks, reminders, and appointments within and across wellness plans. The method can customize the wellness plan according to clinician preferences and patient preferences, and can restrict access and content of the wellness plan. The method provides the wellness plan to the patient through their preferred interactive calendar application and obtains the remaining data variables, performs across plan dependency checks, and obtains the patient preferences from the patient through the interactive calendar application. This allows the method to provide the patient a list of tasks, reminders, and appointments through the interactive calendar application and enables both clinician and patient to track plan progress and completion.
Secure and usable authentication for health care information access
Embodiments of the invention relate to providing a health care provider access to an electronic record of a patient may be provided. A determination is made as to whether the health care provider is logged onto a computer system in a physical area assigned to the patient. Whether the health care provider is logged onto the computer system during working hours of the provider is also ascertained. The health care provider is provided with access to the electronic record of the patient via the computer system if the determining resolves to true and the ascertaining resolves to true.
Systems and methods for reducing medical claims fraud
Various embodiments of the present disclosure may be comprised of systems and methods for reducing fraudulent use of a medical identity to obtain medical goods or services. Identification information may be received for a medical insurance account of a medical consumer. Medical claims data associated with the medical insurance account may be received, and the medical claims data may be transmitted to the medical consumer. A confirmation status may be received from the medical consumer for the medical claims data.
Motion information processing apparatus
A motion information processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry obtains pieces of motion information of a subject acquired from mutually-different positions with respect to the subject performing a predetermined motion. The processing circuitry calculates association information used for bringing the pieces of motion information obtained into association with one another. The processing circuitry exercises control so as to cause an output circuitry to output such output information in which the pieces of motion information are kept in association with one another on the basis of the association information calculated.
Viewing digital slides
A system for collaborative viewing of a digital slide image. In an embodiment, a session is established for viewing a digital slide image by a plurality of client viewers. A leader client viewer and non-leader client viewers are identified for the session. When a command is received from the leader client viewer, the command is sent to each of the non-leader client viewers to synchronize a view of the digital slide image at the non-leader client viewers with the view of the digital slide image at the leader client viewer.
Methods and systems for business development and licensing and competitive intelligence
Systems and method for making intelligent business development and licensing decisions are disclosed. The present invention generally relates to an analytical tool that combines multiple data and content sets based on user selected factors and presents the data in the form of manipulatable visualizations to facilitate decision making to address a specific business problem. More specifically, this invention relates to providing a single portal for access to a decision support system that enables the visualization of data from multiple content and data sets to facilitate decision making related to opportunities analysis, asset acquisition, and intellectual property licensing.
