An actuator is operably coupled to the primary member, the first translation member, and the second translation member to cause substantially simultaneous rotational movement of the plurality of vent caps.

Film covered battery and method for screening same

A film covered battery has a battery element equipped with a plurality of electrode plates laminated via separators, and an exterior film for hermetically sealing the battery element. A cover film is attached to a hollow present in predetermined regions set on a surface of the exterior film. The predetermined regions are regions obtained by removing overlap regions from projected regions obtained by projecting the electrode plates to the surface of the exterior film, the overlap regions being regions where the projected regions overlap with members interposed between the electrode plates at the outermost layers and the exterior film. It is possible to cover the hollow on the surface, without increasing the thickness of the film covered battery.

A rechargeable battery includes: an electrode assembly having a first electrode and a second electrode; an electrode terminal electrically connected to the electrode assembly; a case that receives the electrode assembly; a cap plate at an opening of the case, the cap plate closing and sealing the case and having a vent hole configured to discharge an internal pressure of the case; and a vent module including a vent portion, the vent portion including a buffer portion configured to buffer an impact that is transferred to the vent hole, and a fracture portion that closes and seals the vent hole, wherein the fracture portion is configured to be fractured by the internal pressure.

A battery lid lock structure comprises: a battery lid (10), a slide switch (20), a lock (30), and a main body (40). A longitudinally extended slide slot (11) is provided on the battery lid (10); the slide switch (20) is mounted on the slide slot (11) and is slidable back and forth between a first position and a second position, and comprises a lock head (21) located in the inner side of the battery lid (10); the lock head (21) and the lock (30) are connected together to drive the lock (30) to slide synchronously; the lock (30) comprises a bolt (31) extended and disposed in the same direction as the slide slot (11); a slot (41) correspondingly matching the bolt (31) is provided on the main body (40); when the slide switch (20) is at the first position, the bolt (31) and the slot (41) are engaged, when the slide switch (20) is at the second position, the bolt (31) and the slot (41) are separated. By disposing the slidable slide switch (20) on the battery lid (10) to drive the engagement or the separation of the lock (30) and the slot (41) on the main body (40), the present invention has fewer components and a structure being convenient to mount the slide switch (20) and the lock (30) and enables enough sufficient mating surface between the bolt (31) and the slot (41), thus guaranteeing the stability of the mating and reducing cost.

BATTERY PACK

A battery pack includes a plurality of battery modules that includes a plurality of battery cells, a battery cell holder, a second-electrode assembly including a plurality of second-electrode bus bar plates, a first-electrode assembly, and a cover. The first-electrode assembly includes a plurality of first-electrode bus bar plates, a first-electrode terminal, a second-electrode terminal connected to one of the plurality of second-electrode bus bar plates, and an inter-electrode bus bar connecting the second-electrode bus bar plate and one of the first-electrode bus bar plate and the first-electrode terminal. The first-electrode assembly is in a first pattern or a second pattern. An arrangement of the first-electrode terminal and the second-electrode terminal in the battery module differs according to the pattern of the first-electrode assembly.

Sealed type battery

The battery is sealed by a sealing member including a safety valve for exhausting the gas generated in the battery to the outside of the battery when the pressure in the battery is increased. A part of the sealing member is formed of a member having a melting point lower than that of high-temperature gas generated in the abnormal time and having a ratio of an area of an opening of the battery case to an area of a gas exhaust hole is 3.0×10.sup.−5 or more and 9.1×10.sup.−3 or less.
