Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a method, system and apparatus for causing a communication client to join a media-over-packet communication session. The method comprises receiving from a communication client an indication indicative of a desire of the communication client to establish a communication session, the communication client being registered in association with a user account. The method further comprises determining if there exists at least one active communication session established with at least one other communication client registered in association with the user account. Responsive to determining that there does exist at least one active communication session, the method further comprises causing the communication client to join at least one of the at least one active communication session.

A portable multifunction device configured for displaying an application on a display that includes a first user input element and a second user input element. In response to detecting a first input that corresponds to the selection of a first user input element, enlarging and centering display of a first area that includes the first input element and at least a portion of the second user input element. While displaying the enlarged first area detecting a second input that corresponds to selection of the second user input element. A communication event processing method includes obtaining, by a first terminal, a use status of the first terminal and a use status of a second terminal. The method includes determining either the first terminal or the second terminal as a communication event receiving terminal according to at least one of the use status of the first terminal or the use status of the second terminal. The method includes sending, by the first terminal, a communication event transfer start instruction message to a server when the communication event receiving terminal is the second terminal and a communication event receiving terminal determined last time is the first terminal, where the communication event transfer start instruction message is used to instruct the server to forward, to the second terminal, a received communication event to be sent to the first terminal.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a method, system and apparatus for causing a communication client to join a media-over-packet communication session. Various aspects of the present disclosure provide the concept of a wireless docking profile, which may be standardized across a number of vendors, such that a common standard defining minimum sets of peripherals can be shared by dockees and docking hosts to simplify connection setup and negotiation. Further aspects of the disclosure provide a docking procedure that may be utilized to establish a docking connection between the dockee and the docking host to utilize such a docking profile. The present invention provides a method and device for processing a communication event of a terminal and the terminal. The terminal includes a plurality of systems, and the method for processing the communication event of the terminal includes: upon the receipt of a communication event, obtaining information of an initiator of the communication event; according to the information of the initiator of the communication event, determining the storage location of the information of the initiator in the plurality of systems; and when the information of the initiator is determined as being stored in any one of the plurality of systems, switching a current running system of the terminal into any one of the systems to process the communication event.

Various aspects of the present disclosure enable a persistent docking procedure that, once a persistent docking environment has been established, can simplify the future establishment of a docking environment between the dockee and docking host.
