20180185783 · 2018-07-05 ·

[Problem] Providing a carbon dioxide-containing gas recovery-apparatus which is low in cost and can improve a carbon dioxide-containing gas recovery efficiency.

[Overcoming Means] A pump housing 11 of the carbon dioxide-containing gas recovery apparatus 10 is formed with a first chamber 23 and a second chamber 26 partitioned by a partition wall 20a. The first and second chambers 23 and 26 communicate with each other through a third chamber 20. The first chamber 23 communicates with a water supply opening and a carbon dioxide-containing gas inlet. When blown against water filling the first chamber, a carbon dioxide-containing gas is dissolved in the water, and the carbon dioxide-containing gas remaining undissolved exists as bubbles A in the water. When a pair of six-blade rotors 40 oppositely disposed on two axes 41a and 41b in the third chamber 20 compress the bubbles A to be refined into bubbles B, the carbon dioxide-containing gas can further be dissolved in the water by a compression action. An aqueous solution of carbon dioxide-containing gas is discharged from a water outlet communicating with the second chamber.

CLEANING APPARATUS

The problem to be addressed by the present invention is to provide a cleaning apparatus capable of obtaining a cleaning liquid having a high degree of cleanliness. A cleaning apparatus 10 includes a dissolution tank 20 for dissolving a gas in a liquid, a transfer pump 30 for sending the liquid together with the gas into the dissolution tank 20, and a feed nozzle 40 for feeding the liquid stored in the dissolution tank 20 to a workpiece W. The transfer pump 30 is a positive displacement pump. Portions of the dissolution tank 20, the transfer pump 30, and the feed nozzle 40 that come into contact with the liquid are made of a fluororesin.

Process and apparatus for preparing pigment and wax dual dispersions

Disclosed herein are formulations and processes for the preparation of pigment and wax dual dispersions by (1) providing a solution comprising a water and at least one surfactant in a dispersion apparatus comprising a container, a rotor-stator homogenizer, and a piston homogenizer coupled via a recirculation device; (2) adding at least one pigment to the solution; (3) forming a pigment dispersion by flowing the at least one pigment and the solution to the rotor-stator homogenizer via the recirculation device; (4) adding at least one wax to the pigment dispersion; and (5) flowing the at least one wax and pigment dispersion to the piston homogenizer via the recirculation device until a pigment and wax dual dispersion is formed. Also disclosed herein are pigment and wax dual dispersions, as well as a dispersion apparatus for preparing pigment and wax dual dispersions. In certain embodiments, a dispersion apparatus for preparing a pigment and wax dual dispersion may comprise a container, a rotor-stator homogenizer, a piston homogenizer, and a recirculation device coupled to the container and the homogenizers that allows a dispersion to flow between the container and the homogenizers.

A tank on a firefighting aircraft initially is loaded with water. A polymer gel emulsion vessel is provided but gel emulsion is not activated and mixed with water in the tank until such polymer gel preparation is initiated by an operator. When initiated, a pump pulls water from the tank and returns water back to the tank with a dose of gel emulsion supplied therein. Double elbows and/or the pump impeller fully activates the polymer gel. The activated polymer gel is mixed within the tank by one of a variety of systems including sparging with air, routing of return water from the pump through nozzles and providing a baffle for generating circulatory mixing flow within the tank, or utilizing a mixer element which moves dynamically within the tank. Hydrodynamic forces associated with the aircraft passing over a body of water can power dosing of the water with polymer gel emulsion.
