Compositions and Kits Comprising At Least Two Organisms and Methods for Causing, Enhancing, and/or Expediting Biodegradation or Articles Using Same
Methods for causing, enhancing, and/or expediting consumption of an article by at least one biodegradative living organism are disclosed. The methods include the use of at least one additional living organism that enhances and/or expedites consumption of the article by the at least one biodegradative living organism.
WORM HARVESTING APPARATUS
A vermiculture unit comprises structural elements defining an interior fillable with organic substance and through which worms for converting the organic substance to environmentally compatible products migrate; a perforated surface for supporting the organic substance; and fixed walls extending upwardly from the perforated surface to a void area located below an uppermost edge of the structural elements, removal of worms from the interior that is below the void area being prevented by the fixed walls. An extractor is insertable into the interior via the void area, for extracting from the interior, solidified organic substance to which the worms have upwardly migrated, allowing grown worms to be separated from the extracted organic substance and collected. In one embodiment, the extractor is an openwork drawer member. In another embodiment, the structural elements are used for vermicomposting while an inclined surface receives worm processed byproducts downwardly discharged through the perforated surface.
CIRCULAR MOVING LAYOUT STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR STACKED BIOLOGICAL CULTURE TRAYS ON GROUND, AND PASTURE PLANT
The circular moving layout structure, method for the stacked biological culture tray, and a pasture plant are provided, the circular moving layout structure includes display areas, a waiting transfer area and an operation area, wherein each of the display areas includes multiple tray array areas, the tray array area includes multiple tray body areas, and multiple tray body areas are arranged in a single row along a first direction, and one of stacked biological culture tray bodies is correspondingly placed in each of the tray body areas in each of the tray array areas, and the stacked biological culture tray bodies are used for cultivating preset organisms, vertical projection areas of each of stacked biological culture tray bodies in each of the tray array areas on a ground are connected in a rectangular outline, each of the tray array areas is rectangular with long sides in the first direction.
System and Method for Vermiculture Filtration
A system and method including means for holding waste material including wastewater, contaminated liquid, animal waste, human waste or sludge; means for housing earthworms; means for transferring the wastewater from said means for holding wastewater to said means for housing earthworms; means for timing the transfer of the wastewater from said means for holding wastewater to said means for housing earthworms to allow earthworms in said earthworms housing means to process the waste water; means for removing suspended matter/debris and/or floating/sinkable particles present in the wastewater; means for draining the processed wastewater to said means for removing suspended matter/debris and/or floating/sinkable particles present in the wastewater; means for sterilizing the wastewater with UV light; and means for draining the processed and polished waste water to said means for sterilizing the wastewater with UV light.
CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT AGRICULTURE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A controlled environment agriculture system and method are described, in which the system is modular and configured for retrofit location in a pre-existing building structure. The system comprises one or more multi-modal farm modules, or each multi-modal farm module comprising an aquaculture module, a plant production module, a mushroom production module and a waste regeneration module. The aquaculture module, plant production module, mushroom production module and waste regeneration module are coupled together and operatively associated to form a process loop, whereby at least one output from the aquaculture module forms an input into the plant production module, at least one output from the plant production module forms an input into the mushroom production module, at least output from the mushroom production module forms an input into the waste regeneration module, and at least one output from the waste regeneration module forms an input into the aquaculture module

WORM BED SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
A method and apparatus for distributing organic matter to a stack of worm bed reactors, where each worm bed reactor has a receptacle with a screened bottom surface, sidewalls, an open top, and is filled with substrate and worms. A distribution gantry moveable from a docking area along the length of each reactor. An organic matter feeder overlies the docking area of each stack and supplies organic matter to each gantry in the stack. The gantries travel along the reactor to distribute the organic matter.
