PACKAGE FOR PRE-DOSED UNITS FOR INSECT FARMING
A package, method and arrangement for insect farming. The package is filled with a predetermined quantity of insects, and includes a package body; and a package closure configured to close the package body to prevent the insects from escaping from the package. The closed package body is configured to open at least partially under at least one of: at least one predetermined environmental condition, or in an event of consumption by the insects in the package body in order to release the insects.
UNMANNED INSECT BREEDING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
The present invention relates to an unmanned insect breeding system. The unmanned insect breeding system includes a feed tank configured to store a feed for insects, an insect farm in which box stacks in which a plurality of boxes containing insects are vertically stacked are arranged in m rows and n columns, an automatic feeding device configured to supply the feed in the feed tank to the boxes, an insect sorting device disposed at one side of the insect farm and including a sorter configured to sort the insects, a guide rail installed in front of the insect farm and extending in a width direction of the insect farm, a box transfer robot which moves forward and rearward on the guide rail and loads and unloads the box stack, and a control unit configured to control driving of the box transfer robot.
Egg Rebatching
The present invention relates to a method and a system for rearing insects, with the steps of breeding insects in a breed crate, such that the breed crate includes live insects, substrate and insect eggs, emptying the breed crate for sorting its content by separating the live insects and collecting a mixture of the substrate mixed with said insect eggs, and rebatching the collected egg/substrate mixture to a breed crate for further hatching the eggs in the mixture and rearing the emerging neonates.

BREEDING DEVICE
A breeding device (1) includes: a body frame (10) forming a breeding space (11) for organisms; a plurality of breeding units (20) housed in the breeding space (11) of the body frame (10); a plurality of perch members (22) arranged in each of the plurality of breeding units (20) with a clearance between the perch members; and a separating member (32) including a plurality of comb teeth (34) arranged in an arrangement direction (Y) of the plurality of perch members (22). The separating member (32) is used for all of the plurality of breeding units (20), and is configured such that the plurality of comb teeth (34) is inserted into a plurality of the clearances (23) between the plurality of perch members (22) by moving the separating member (32) relative to each of the plurality of breeding units (20).

DEVICE FOR REARING INSECT LARVAE
Device for rearing insect larvae comprising a rack (10) with at least one elongate rack bottom (15) which extends in the rack over at least substantially a whole length of the rack and is provided here with a set of upward directed wings on either side. The rack bottom (15) is covered with a polyolefin plastic lining (20) which also extends laterally over an upward directed part (16) of each of the wings. The lining (20) is moveable over the rack bottom and removable from the rack at at least one of the end surfaces.

Installation for producing and collecting newly-hatched larvae
An installation for producing and collecting newly-hatched larvae comprises cages equipped with at least one collector of insect eggs, a transfer line for transferring the larvae from the collectors to a conveyor, and equipment for concentrating the newly-hatched larvae. It also comprises: a collection of modules grouping together a plurality of egg collectors, the modules being open at their bottom; the modules being mobile between a point of loading and the transfer line; the transfer line being open to receive the modules at the top, and at the bottom having a guide system with divergent walls, which at its top has a width tailored to the cross section of the modules and at its bottom has an opening tailored to the dimensions of a conveyor, the guide system being configured to group together the newly-hatched larvae falling from the collectors onto the upper surface of the conveyor.
