Train status presentation based on aggregated tracking information
A control system presents a configurable virtual representation of at least a portion of a train and associated train assets, including a real-time location, configuration, and operational status of the train and associated train assets traveling along a railway. The control system may include a train position determining system, and a train configuration determining system. The control system may further include a train asset operational parameter sensing device, and a controller configured to receive data produced by the train position determining system, the train configuration determining system, and the train asset operational parameter sensing device. The controller may also process and aggregate the received data to provide a real-time virtual representation of the train and the train assets including the actual real-time position and configuration of the train assets relative to each other and to a geographical location, and coordinate a presentation of the aggregated data such that implementation of a select presentation process to the aggregated data results in a simultaneous implementation of the same select presentation process to at least one of electronic map data associated with the real-time location of the train and the train asset operational parameter data. A graphical user interface (GUI) may be configured to display in one or more display areas the real-time virtual representation of the train including a coordinated and configurable presentation of at least a portion of the aggregated data and the train asset operational parameter data.

CUTOUT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for controlling a train may override wayside interface units (WIUs) and/or override wayside devices. An example control system may comprise a transceiver configured to receive a status from a WIU and an on board unit (OBU) coupled to the transceiver. The OBU may be configured to override the command from the WIU and ignore a status from another wayside device associated with the WIU. The OBU may enforce all positive train control commands other than commands from sources associated with the overridden WIU.
Train control device
The present invention relates to a train control device. The train control device sets an emergency brake pattern and a regular brake pattern as patterns of maximum speed according to the distance to a stopping point, and outputs a braking command when the train speed exceeds the maximum speed. Then, when the maximum speed defined in the regular brake pattern falls below a set speed, the maximum speed of the regular brake pattern is kept constant for a predetermined distance. After that, the maximum speed is gradually reduced toward a stopping point of the emergency brake pattern. This allows a train to make an approach to a fixed stopping position in an automatic train operation even when the fixed stopping position is located farther than a stopping point of the regular brake pattern, and excessive output of an emergency braking command based on the emergency brake pattern can be reduced.
Transportation system
A transportation system (100) based on a plurality of pods (110) without any prime movers is disclosed, having a plurality of main tracks (102) having flexible drives to engage with the pods (110) and move the pods along the main track. The pods (110) can be carried by a last-miler vehicle for providing a seamless connectivity between a starting point of a commuter and a destination location without any change. The transportation system includes stations (150) having diverter belts (104), accelerator/decelerator paths (106) and diverter patch (114), where the pods (110) can be transshipped between the main track (102) and the last-miler vehicles.

Switch control method and apparatus, and storage medium
A switch control method and apparatus, and a storage medium are provided, which relate to the field of urban rail transit technologies. The method includes: in a process that a train requests a target object for a switch resource, determining that the train is a train before and nearest a switch in combination with switch information sent from an object controller; when the switch is in an idle state, requesting the object controller to move the switch if it is determined that a current switch orientation of the switch is inconsistent with a switch orientation required by the train for the switch, so that the object controller controls to move the switch, and adjusts a status of the switch to a locked state after the switch is moved; and controlling the train to pass through the switch according to a response message returned by the object controller.
