Magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, image processor, and image processing method

An automatic clipping technique capable of satisfactorily extracting blood vessels to be extracted is provided. A specific tissue extraction mask image which is created by extracting a specific tissue (for example, a brain) from a three-dimensional image acquired by magnetic resonance angiography and a blood vessel extraction mask image which is created by extracting a blood vessel from an area (a blood vessel search area) which is determined using a preset landmark position and the specific tissue extraction mask image are integrated to create an integrated mask. By applying the integrated mask to the three-dimensional image, a blood vessel is clipped from the three-dimensional image.

MESSAGE DISTRIBUTION SERVICE
20230012929 · 2023-01-19 ·

A method of distributing location-based message contents over a messaging system and that are displayable on consumer devices present at associated locations. The method comprises, for each message of a set of messages, obtaining a message content and a message location search term, submitting the message location search term to a web mapping service so that a service application programming interface (API) searches with the message location search term, and receiving a result list including a plurality of message locations corresponding to the message. The method further comprises adding the message content and the plurality of message locations to a message distribution database or set of linked databases that is or are searchable by location. This facilitates the sending of relevant message location(s) to the consumer devices.

ARRANGEMENT FOR PRODUCING HEAD RELATED TRANSFER FUNCTION FILTERS

When three-dimensional audio is produced by using headphones, particular HRTF-filters are used to modify sound for the left and right channels of the headphone. As the morphology of every ear is different, it is beneficial to have HRTF-filters particularly designed for the user of headphones. Such filters may be produced by deriving ear geometry from a plurality of images taken with an ordinary camera, detecting necessary features from images and fitting said features to a model that has been produced from accurately scanned ears comprising representative values for different sizes and shapes. Taken images are sent to a server (52) that performs the necessary computations and submits the data further or produces the requested filter.

Homography generation for image registration in inlier-poor domains

A method for efficient image registration between two images in the presence of inlier-poor domains includes receiving a set of candidate correspondences between the two images. An approximate homography between the two images is generated based upon a first correspondence in the correspondences. The set of candidate correspondences is filtered to identify inlier correspondences based upon the approximate homography. A candidate homography is computed based upon the inlier correspondences. The candidate homography can be selected as a final homography between the two images based upon a support of the candidate homography against the set of candidate correspondences. An image registration is performed between the two images based upon the candidate homography being selected as the final homography.

IMAGE REGISTRATION PERFORMANCE ASSURANCE

In an approach for image registration performance assurance by optimizing system configurations, a processor evaluates alignment of a registered image and a fixed image using a pre-trained learning model. The registered image is generated with a first registration method. A processor provides a reward score to the alignment, the reward score being defined as a higher score indicating a better alignment. A processor generates a registration status represented as a feature vector that contains information about how the registered and fixed images are aligned. A processor determines a second registration method based on the reward score, the feature vector, and the first registration method.

An object is to provide a device for analyzing occlusion pressure with which it is possible to measure occlusion pressure with a high positional accuracy by using data obtained by versatile methods, including an operation device, wherein the operation device calculates a formula of a first dental arch based on an occlusion pressure data, calculates a formula of a second dental arch based on an occlusal contact positional data, calculates a transformation matrix that approximates the formula of the first dental arch to the formula of the second dental arch, carries out an operation to transform positional information included in the occlusion pressure data to a new positional information with the transformation matrix, and outputs an occlusion pressure data including the new positional information.

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR GENERATING DIGITAL AND CRYPTOGRAPHIC ASSETS BY MAPPING BODIES FOR N-DIMENSIONAL MONITORING USING MOBILE IMAGE DEVICES

Provided are systems, methods, and devices for generating digital and/or cryptographic assets. An initial state of an environment is acquired using sensors that includes a state of each sensor, a region of interest including a 3D body, and a state of light sources. The asset is associated with the 3D body. A plurality of boundary conditions associated with a workflow for capturing the asset is determined. A visualization of a set of boundary conditions is displayed on a display that includes a plurality of visual cues including first and second visual cues. Each respective visual cue provides a visual indication of a state of a corresponding boundary condition in the set of boundary conditions. At least one visual cue is updated when each boundary condition in the set of boundary conditions is satisfied. When satisfied, the workflow at the computer-enabled imaging device is executed, thereby capturing the asset.

Surgical navigation with stereovision and associated methods

A surgical guidance system has two cameras to provide stereo image stream of a surgical field; and a stereo viewer. The system has a 3D surface extraction module that generates a first 3D model of the surgical field from the stereo image streams; a registration module for co-registering annotating data with the first 3D model; and a stereo image enhancer for graphically overlaying at least part of the annotating data onto the stereo image stream to form an enhanced stereo image stream for display, where the enhanced stereo stream enhances a surgeon's perception of the surgical field. The registration module has an alignment refiner to adjust registration of the annotating data with the 3D model based upon matching of features within the 3D model and features within the annotating data; and in an embodiment, a deformation modeler to deform the annotating data based upon a determined tissue deformation.
