LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS
A liquid discharging apparatus, having a housing, a liquid discharging head, and a waste liquid tank for storing waste liquid, is provided. The waste liquid tank is demountably mounted in the housing through an opening formed on a sideward face on one side in a widthwise direction, which is parallel to a nozzle surface of the liquid discharging head and intersects orthogonally with a conveying direction to convey a sheet. The opening is formed between a first position and a second position apart from the first position in the conveying direction. The waste liquid tank is mounted in the housing in an arrangement such that a length in the widthwise direction is shorter than a length in the conveying direction. The waste liquid tank is mountable in and demountable from the housing along the widthwise direction of the waste liquid tank.
LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS AND WASTE LIQUID TANK
A liquid discharging apparatus, having a sheet conveyer path, a liquid discharging head including nozzles for discharging liquid, a cap configured to cover the liquid discharging head, a liquid receiver located at a position different from the cap and configured to receive the liquid discharged from the liquid discharging head, and a waste liquid tank demountably mountable in a housing of the liquid discharging apparatus and configured to store the liquid received by the liquid receiver, is provided.
Waste liquid container
A waste liquid container includes an accommodation chamber including an opening that is open upward of the waste liquid container in a mounted state where the waste liquid container is mounted in the mounting portion, the accommodation chamber being configured to accommodate the liquid, and a contact portion provided at a surface that intersect with a bottom surface and an upper surface of the waste liquid container, the contact portion being configured to contact a horizontal plane and set a posture of the accommodation chamber with respect to the horizontal plane in a placement state where the waste liquid container is placed at the horizontal plane with the surface facing downward, wherein in the placement state, an inner surface is in an inclined state where the bottom surface is lower than the upper surface, the inner surface serving as a lower surface of the accommodation chamber.
Waste liquid container and liquid ejecting apparatus
A waste liquid container is detachably attached to an attachment section that is, in a use state, positioned on a down-direction side of a discharge section that discharges waste liquid from a liquid ejecting head, and the waste liquid container includes: a storage section having an inlet section that is positioned on an up-direction side and introduces the waste liquid which flows down from the discharge section; an absorbing member that is accommodated in the storage section, forms the inlet section, and absorbs the waste liquid introduced to the inlet section; and an accumulation region that communicates with the inlet section inside the storage section, is positioned on the down-direction side of the inlet section, is formed to have an area, when viewed in plan view from a top, larger than an area of the inlet section, and is configured to accumulate the waste liquid in a bubble form.
INKJET PRINTER
An inkjet printer includes a printer body, a waste ink container, and a cover member. The waste ink container includes a first engagement portion. The cover member constitutes a part of a housing of the inkjet printer and includes a second engagement portion. The second engagement portion is engageable with the first engagement portion.
INKJET PRINTER
An inkjet printer includes a support table supporting a waste liquid tank and being displaceable in accordance with a weight of the waste liquid tank, a first sensor to detect that the support table has reached a first position, a second sensor to detect that the support table has reached a second position, a first determinator to determine that the waste liquid tank is in a near-end state when the support table is detected by the first sensor to have reached the first position, and a notifier to notify a user of the near-end state when the first determinator determines that the waste liquid tank is in the near-end state.
Printing system and cartridge for a printing system
A cartridge for a printing system comprises a receptacle to receive waste printing material from the printing system, a floater to change its position based on a varying filling level of the waste printing material in the receptacle, and a flag mechanically coupled to the floater, wherein a position of the flag depends on the position of the floater and indicates, outside of the receptacle, the filling level.
Liquid absorber and method for producing same, and liquid ejection apparatus
A liquid absorber includes a case, a first liquid absorption member stored in the case, and a second liquid absorption member stored in the case. The case has an opening. The first liquid absorption member absorbs a portion of a liquid. The second liquid absorption member absorbs a portion of the liquid. The second liquid absorption member is disposed adjacent to the first liquid absorption member and is closer to the opening than is the first liquid absorption member. The first liquid absorption member and the second liquid absorption member include fiber substrates and a liquid-absorbent resin, the liquid-absorbent resin being liquid-absorbent resin particles.
Liquid ejection apparatus
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a liquid ejection head that ejects liquid to a medium transported in a transport direction on a transport path, a liquid container that includes a containing chamber for containing liquid to be supplied to the liquid ejection head and an inlet for pouring the liquid into the containing chamber, a carriage movable in a scanning direction that intersects the transport direction in a state where the liquid ejection head and the liquid container loaded on the carriage, and a mounting portion on which a waste liquid container that contains liquid as waste liquid discharged from the liquid ejection head is detachably mounted. When the liquid ejection head is located outside the transport path in the scanning direction, the carriage is disposed at a position that overlaps the mounting portion in the vertical direction.
Liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus has a housing constituting the exterior and includes: a liquid ejecting head; a liquid container; a maintenance device; a waste liquid container; a supply tube; a waste liquid tube; and a guide along which the supply tube and the waste liquid tube are routed in parallel. Assuming that one side of the housing is a rear side and another side facing the one side is a front side in plan view, the maintenance device is disposed closer to a rear side than the liquid container is, the liquid ejecting head is disposed at a side of the maintenance device so as to be movable in the left-right direction, and the guide is disposed in an area between the maintenance device and the front side of the liquid container.
