DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A display device for a vehicle includes: a display unit including a display surface that is configured to display information to an occupant of a vehicle; a display control unit that is configured to set the information displayed at the display surface and a display area in which the information is displayed at the display surface; a drive unit that is configured to drive the display unit in and out of an interior member that is disposed in a vehicle cabin; and a drive control unit that is configured to control the drive unit such that the display area and an exposed area, of the display surface, which is exposed from the interior member are proportional to each other.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND VEHICLE
An information processing device includes a controller configured to control display of a crosswalk on a road on which a vehicle travels. The controller outputs information to be displayed on a display device such that a driver of the vehicle visually recognizes advance notification information that makes advance notification of the display of the crosswalk.
DISPLAY SYSTEM
A reflectance/transmittance of an optical device disposed at a position through which image light emitted from a liquid crystal display displaying an icon passes is changed according to an anti-glare level to achieve anti-glare of the reflected image. A color of the icon displayed on the liquid crystal display is adjusted such that the higher the transmittance of the optical device is, the lower the lightness is, so that the icon of a similar color is visually recognized regardless of the reflectance/transmittance of the optical device.
VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A vehicle control system includes a steering operation element configured to receive a steering operation of a vehicle by a driver, a grip detector configured to detect a gripping state of the steering operation element by the driver of the vehicle, and a display processor configured to cause a display device to display a notification image indicating at least the gripping state. The notification image includes a first graphic deformable based on a circle within an entire image area. The display processor causes the display device to display the notification image including the first graphic deformed to expand a location corresponding to a part where the driver is gripping the steering operation element.
VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE, VEHICLE, VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM, VEHICLE DISPLAY METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
A vehicle display device including: a memory; a display installed at a vehicle; and a processor coupled to the memory and controlling the display, the processor is configured to: when a specific event occurs, set the display to a state of being able to display a hazard map image showing a hazard map of a predetermined geographical region.
Apparatus and method of indicating expected speed of vehicle
An apparatus for indicating an expected speed of a vehicle includes an information provider configured to provide vehicle driving information and deceleration event information required to determine the expected speed of the vehicle at a deceleration event point while the vehicle travels, a controller configured to detect a deceleration event on a travel path based on the vehicle driving information and the deceleration event information provided by the information provider and to determine the expected speed of the vehicle at the detected deceleration event point, and a display unit configured to receive a signal indicating the expected speed of the vehicle at the deceleration event point and the deceleration event information from the controller and to display the received expected speed of the vehicle in a predetermined form of an augmented reality (AR) image and a position of the deceleration event on an information display screen.
DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR ALERTING VEHICLES OF APPROACHING EMERGENCY VEHICLE
Systems, methods, and computer program products for alerting non-emergency vehicles of a nearby emergency vehicle. In general, an emergency vehicle is provided that includes a first transmitter designed to transmit information, a first receiver designed to receive information, and an emergency alert system. A non-emergency vehicle is provided that includes a second transmitter designed to transmit information, a second receiver designed to receive information, and a dash cluster comprising a user interface. In use, the emergency alert system is activated, and it is determined whether the non-emergency vehicle is within a pre-determined distance of the emergency vehicle. If the nonemergency vehicle is within the predetermined distance, a dash alert is displayed on the user interface that indicates the emergency vehicle is nearby.
Display device, electronic apparatus, and moving object
A display device includes a display having a segment display portion that is configured to display a first icon and a dot matrix display portion, a display portion drive circuit outputting a drive signal for segment display to the segment display portion and outputting a drive signal for dot matrix display to the dot matrix display portion, a display abnormality detection circuit detecting a display abnormality of the first icon, a control circuit controlling the display portion drive circuit, and a processing unit providing the control circuit with an instruction to display a second icon, which is a substitute for the first icon, on the dot matrix display portion instead of an instruction to display the first icon on the segment display portion, when the display abnormality of the first icon is detected.
System and method for monitoring a machine operating at a worksite
A method for monitoring a machine operating at a worksite, is provided. The machine includes an implement for performing one or more implement operations and is configured to be propelled by a set of ground engaging members between a first location and second location. A first input indicative of start of a travelling operation of the machine after completion of a first implement operation at the first location, is received. One or more transmission parameters associated with the machine are determined, when the machine moves from first location to second location. A second input indicative of end of the travelling operation at start of a second implement operation at the second location is received. A number of revolutions completed by ground engaging members between the first location and the second location is determined based on the transmission parameters. The number of revolutions is displayed on input/output device associated with machine.
Camera system to monitor the passengers in a vehicle and detect passenger activities
Methods, systems, and apparatus for a monitoring system are disclosed. The monitoring system includes a memory configured to store image data and a first camera configured to capture first image data including the activity of a passenger within the vehicle. The electronic control unit is configured to obtain, from the first camera, the first image data including the passenger, determine an activity of the passenger based on the first image data, and determine that the activity of the passenger will be different than a baseline activity of the passenger. The electronic control unit is configured to record and capture, in the memory and using the camera, the first image data for a time period before and after the determination that the activity of the passenger will be different than the baseline activity.
