Material Removal from Surfaces
20170274425 · 2017-09-28 ·

Scrapers for removing adhered material from surfaces employ continuous and discontinuous material removal edges to remove different types of material. Continuous and sometimes discontinuous material removal edges are constructed and arranged to conform to the curvature of a surface from which material is to be removed, when a user forces the scraper against the surface. Some scrapers include multiple material removal edges designed to simultaneously contact the surface. The use of multiple points of contact combined with locations of handles provide stable designs that reduce hand and wrist strain.

SCRAPER DEVICE FOR DISC ASSEMBLY

A scraper for a barbeque grill comprises a handle. A substantially parallelepiped cleaning head is extended at a forward end of the handle. The cleaning head comprises a first metal plate and a second metal plate. A plurality of metal spikes is mounted to and extends from at least one surface of the cleaning head. The plurality of metal spikes move centrifugal swivel movement at an angle of 15 degrees for inserting into open spaces of the barbecue grill. The plurality of metal spikes provides side-to-side swinging motion to remove the charred debris from the top and side portions of the barbecue grill.

LIQUID KNIFE, LIQUID KNIFE CLEANING APPARATUS AND LIQUID KNIFE ASSEMBLY APPARATUS

A liquid knife cleaning apparatus and a liquid knife are provided. The liquid knife cleaning apparatus includes: a frame configured to be arranged on the liquid knife and be capable of reciprocating in an extending direction of the knife edge; a cleaning blade configured to extend into the knife edge of the liquid knife and be capable of reciprocating inside the knife edge under the driving of the frame to clean the knife edge, the cleaning blade being arranged on the frame; and a movable mechanism configured to control the frame to reciprocate on the liquid knife in the extending direction of the knife edge, the frame being connected to the movable mechanism.

Oxy/Acetylene Cutting Tip Cleaner

An oxy-acetylene cutting torch tip cleaner includes an elongated body portion with at least one actuator and at least one associated housing bore for storing a cleaning pin. Each cleaning pin is coupled to an actuator movable from a first position with the cleaning pin contained in the housing bore to a second position with the cleaning pin extending from the housing bore, for abrading and cleaning the cutting torch tip. Each actuator, coupled to its cleaning pin with a slider, is biased to the first position and a lock engages each actuator in the second position such that when the lock is disengaged from the actuator at the second position with the cleaning tip extended from the body, the actuator automatically returns to the first position thereby retracting the cleaning pin back into the housing bore.

Cleaning apparatus with anti-hair wrap management systems

A cleaning apparatus includes an end cap assembly for use with an agitator. The end cap assembly includes a stationary end cap, a rotating end cap, and a fragmentor. The stationary end cap is secured to and stationary with respect to a housing of the cleaning apparatus. The rotating end cap is coupled to the agitator and rotates with the agitator relative to the housing. The stationary and rotating end caps define a gap extending radially inward therebetween. The fragmentor is disposed within the gap and is configured to break debris which enters the gap into smaller pieces. The fragmentor may be disposed on a surface of the stationary end cap facing towards the rotating end cap and/or on a surface of the rotating end cap facing towards the stationary end cap. The fragmentor may include a cutting blade and/or an abrasive surface.

Wire feed tip cleaning apparatus

An apparatus and method for cleaning fabrication equipment, such as for example wire feed tips provided on welding guns. Equipment of that nature usually includes an outlet through which joining or filling material is dispensed and which may easily become blocked by weld splatter or the like when in such close proximity to the work piece being fabricated. The apparatus provides a support means for holding the equipment, cleaning means for removing debris from the equipment, and control means for effecting relative movement of the support means and cleaning means in a swift and efficient manner.

Tool for Removing Sealant Around a Seal Cap

A method and apparatus for sealing a fastener element. A structure may be positioned over a seal cap that has been adhered and sealed to the fastener element. A number of projections associated with the structure may be moved along an interface formed between the seal cap and an object in which the fastener element has been installed such that the number of projections removes at least a portion of excess material around the seal cap while moving along the interface between the seal cap and the object.
