VIRTUAL CONNECTED VEHICLE INFRASTRUCTURE
A system and method for remote execution of applications at a cloud server for a connected vehicle infotainment system (CVIS). The method includes receiving a remote execution request for at least one application from a CVIS; executing the at least one application to output execution results; and causing rendering of the execution results on the CVIS while allowing interoperability with applications executed over at least one other environment included in a vehicle.
VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Provided is a vehicle, comprising: a voice receiver configured to acquire a user voice input; a speaker provided inside the vehicle; a display provided inside the vehicle; and a controller configured to control the voice receiver, the speaker and the display, wherein the controller is configured to: acquire a control command from the user voice input, wait for receiving a subsequent control command for a predetermined waiting time after operating a control target based on the control command, and control at least one of the speaker or the display to provide a feedback for notifying that the control target is in a subsequent controllable state.
Method for displaying points of interest on a digital map
A method for displaying points of interest on a digital map on a display, each point of interest being assigned at least one category and the space in front of the display being segmented into spatial regions where each spatial region is assigned a category. The method includes detecting the position of a hand of a user or part of the hand of the user by sensors, more particularly by cameras, identifying the spatial region in which the position of the hand or the part of the hand lies, identifying the category assigned to the identified spatial region, and displaying or highlighting the points of interest that have been assigned to the identified category.
VEHICLE INTERACTION SYSTEM AS WELL AS CORRESPONDING VEHICLE AND METHOD
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, an interaction system for a first vehicle is provided, which comprises a processor and a memory storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the latter to implement steps comprising: receiving a first input from the first vehicle and displaying a first avatar on a display; and receiving a second input from a second vehicle and displaying a second avatar on the display, wherein the first input and the second input are updated in real time, and the first avatar and the second avatar dynamically change accordingly.
Information presentation control device, information presentation device, information presentation control method, and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium
An information presentation control device includes: an analyzer to calculate a degree of risk based on information regarding an object located around a vehicle; an occupant monitor to determine whether a driver is aware of approach of the object, based on information obtained by imaging the driver with a camera; an image processor to cause at least one of the displays to perform alerting display, based on the degree of risk; and a sound processor to cause the sound output device to generate, as an alerting sound, a sound whose sound image is controlled so that a virtual sound source is localized at a position of at least one of the at least one display, based on the degree of risk. When the driver is aware of the object, the sound processor stops generation of the alerting sound or decreases a sound volume of the alerting sound.
VEHICLE HANDS-FREE CALL CONNECTION SYSTEM
Proposed is a vehicle hands-free incoming call notification system that is connected to a driver's phone through short-range wireless communication and supports a hands-free function. The system includes a caller information reception unit configured to receive caller information through the short-range wireless communication from a driver's phone to which an incoming call is connected according to a call origination of a caller terminal, and a notification unit for a driver configured to output the received caller information to at least some displays among a plurality of vehicle displays, to output an incoming call tone to a speaker, but when an incoming call-incognito mode is set, to output the caller information only to at least one exclusive display for a driver so that only the driver is able to check.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SWITCH CAP, SWITCH CAP, AND SWITCH DEVICE
A switch cap for a switch device that can reduce a pressing error of a switch is provided. A three-dimensional first cap main body moves by a force applied to a first abutting portion from a finger which is an operator. A first sensor is disposed in the first cap main body, and detects abutting or approach of the finger to the first abutting portion. A first transmission member is fixed to the inside of the first cap main body, and moves together with the first cap main body for first switching to transmit movement of the first cap main body to a push button which is a predetermined location of a switch device. A first sensor is formed in a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) disposed in the first cap main body, and the FPC is fixed by the first transmission member and the first cap main body.
SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE AND VEHICLE DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a signal processing device and a vehicle display apparatus including the same. The vehicle display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a display located in a vehicle; and a signal processing device configured to output an image signal to the display, wherein while outputting a first overlay based on a first operating system, the signal processing device is configured to display a second overlay based on a second operating system to be overlapped on at least a partial area of the first overlay, thereby seamlessly displaying the overlays based on heterogeneous operating systems.
Method and apparatus for controlling a vehicle in autonomous driving system
Disclosed herein is a control apparatus included in a vehicle in automated vehicle and highway systems, the control apparatus including: a steering wheel having at least one touch screen on which a screen for manipulating at least one of the functions of the vehicle is output In addition, a control unit determines an intention of the user related to a selection of any one of the functions of the vehicle and controls a screen for manipulating a function according to the determined intention of the user to be output.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCING IN-CABIN SLEEP EXPERIENCE IN VEHICLE
Systems and methods for enhancing in-cabin sleeping experience within a vehicle are provided. The method includes determining whether a first occupant, e.g., a passenger, within the vehicle is asleep based on data captured of an interior of the vehicle, e.g., via one or more cameras within the vehicle. The method further includes informing a second occupant, e.g., a driver, within the vehicle that the first occupant is asleep, and adjusting an interior cabin parameter to accommodate the first occupant. The method further may include adjusting the interior cabin parameter to wake up the first occupant when the vehicle is a predetermined time or distance from a target destination. Moreover, the method may include classifying the first occupant such that the inter cabin parameter is adjusted to accommodate the first occupant based on the classification of the first occupant.
