CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a control device for a motor vehicle, comprising: a tactile surface (2) for detecting the contact of the finger of a user and the movement of the finger on the tactile surface; and a haptic and/or acoustic feedback module (4) designed to make the tactile surface (2) vibrate and/or to generate an acoustic feedback for the user, in response to contact on the tactile surface (2); characterised in that it comprises a management unit (5) designed to manage the haptic feedback and/or acoustic feedback module (4) in order to generate a haptic and/or acoustic feedback pattern when a movement of the finger is detected on a border (6) separating two areas (Z1, Z2) of the tactile surface (2). The invention also relates to a control method.
Electronic device, method and computer program
An electronic device for a vehicle comprising circuitry configured to obtain information about a planned maneuver of the vehicle; and circuitry configured to determine the position and/or orientation of a sound field based on the information about the planned maneuver of the vehicle.
Method and system for staging a change in operating mode of a transportation vehicle
A method and system for enacting a change of operating modalities of a transportation vehicle. The method includes at least one display device, which at least partially includes a screen, operated in the transportation vehicle. The at least one display device has at least two operating modes for operator control by a user. A triggering signal to the at least one display device is automatically provided. The triggering signal is triggered by at least one trigger event, is provided directly or indirectly by the transportation vehicle, and triggers a change from a first operating mode to a second operating mode. The change is at least partially indicated to the user by at least one operator alerting signal.
Vehicle state presentation system, vehicle, terminal device, and vehicle state presentation method
A vehicle state presentation system includes a terminal device including an ear mounting unit that is mounted on an ear of a user, and a vehicle. The vehicle includes a first communication unit that wirelessly communicates with the terminal device, and a first controller that causes the first communication unit to transmit a notification signal indicating that the vehicle detects a state of the vehicle other than a predetermined state to the terminal device, and the terminal device includes a second communication unit that wirelessly communicates with the vehicle, and a second controller that causes an output unit to perform a notification to the user based on the notification signal received by the second communication unit when the terminal device moves out of a predetermined distance range in which the vehicle is included.
LOAD-SENSING CLOSURE PANEL
A vehicle includes a body, an aperture defined by the body, a closure panel, and a load sensor. The closure panel is movable between an open position and a closed position. The closure panel covers at least a portion of the aperture when the closure panel is in the closed position. The load sensor is coupled to the closure panel. The load sensor senses a load that is applied to the closure panel.
MODIFYING MEDIA CONTENT PLAYBACK BASED ON USER MENTAL STATE
Embodiments of the present disclosure sets forth a computer-implemented method for playing back media content comprising determining, based on sensor data, a first mental state associated with a user accessing media content, and modifying playback of media content based on the first mental state.
System for detecting activities that pose a risk during driving, based on checking the position of the two hands on the steering wheel
A system for detecting activities that pose a risk during driving is described. The system includes a vehicle comprising a steering device. Sensors are placed around various positions of the steering device that are configured to detect a presence of one or two hands on the steering device. The system further includes processing circuitry configured to: identify a position of the one or two hands on the steering device or a lack thereof based on binary signals received from the plurality of sensors; and determine whether to generate an alert to the operator of the vehicle based on the position of the one or two hands on the steering device or lack thereof, the alert requesting the operator of the vehicle to place one or two hands on the steering device and/or any other authorized device.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL SYSTEM, AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD
A display control device includes: a proximity determination unit for determining whether or not a driver's hand exists in a detection area created in front of a touch operation screen, on the basis of a detection result of an object existing in the detection area, the detection result being transmitted from a proximity detection device; an allocation changing unit for changing an operational allocation on the touch operation screen when the proximity determination unit has determined that the driver's hand exists in the detection area; and a display output unit for outputting allocation information to a HUD when the operational allocation on the touch operation screen is changed by the allocation changing unit, the allocation information being to cause the HUD to display a display allocation corresponding to the changed operational allocation.
AUDIO OUTPUT DEVICE
An audio output device includes PWM output devices, a weighting unit, a mixer, and an amplifier. The PWM output devices divide audio data into multiple parts including an upper bit part to a lower bit part, and output the multiple parts of the audio data as PWM outputs. The weighting unit weights the PWM outputs from the PWM output devices. The mixer synthesizes the PWM outputs after being weighted. The amplifier supplies an electric current to a sounding body in accordance with a synthesis result by the mixer to cause the sounding body to emit a sound.
Work Vehicle, Object Indication System, and Method of Indicating Location of an Object
A method of indicating to an operator of a work vehicle a relative location of an object, an object indication system, and a work vehicle are provided. The method includes sensing the object with one or more sensors positioned at one or more sensor positions on the work vehicle and activating one or more indicators positioned at one or more indicator positions relative to the operator based on the sensing of the object with the one or more sensors. Each sensor position directionally corresponds to one or more of the indicator positions.
