Pre-Loaded Floor Wipes with Improved Pickup
A pre-loaded cleaning substrate, and related systems and methods for picking up particles with an aspect ratio (L/D) greater than 300 (e.g., hair), or greater than 1200 (e.g., particularly long hairs). The substrate (e.g., a nonwoven) may include only a single layer of material. The pre-loaded substrate is loaded (e.g., during manufacture) with a cleaning composition. The fibers of the substrate may have an average diameter less than 15 μm, the substrate may have an air permeability of 35 ft.sup.3/min to 75 ft.sup.3/min, and the liquid cleaning composition may have a surface tension of less than about 50 dynes/cm. Together, the combination of the particular substrate and cleaning composition may facilitate markedly improved ability to pick up high L/D aspect ratio particle debris (e.g., such as hair), while retaining such particles (e.g., providing hair retention index values of at least 20).
CLEANING MEMBER, PAPER TRANSMITTING DEVICE AND OFFICE MACHINE USING THE SAME
A paper transmitting device including a feed wheel and a cleaning member is provided. The feed wheel is rotatably disposed for driving a document to move. The cleaning member is disposed on one side of the feed wheel, and has a fabric and porous structure and a woolen friction surface, so that the cleaning member contacts the feed wheel to clean the feed wheel.
Sensor assembly with cleaning
A sensor assembly includes a housing including a chamber; a first sensor disposed in the chamber and including a first sensor window facing outward from the chamber; a second sensor outside and fixed relative to the chamber, the second sensor including a second sensor window; a blower having a blower outlet in the chamber and having a blower inlet; and a flexible hose extending from a first end positioned to receive ambient air to a second end positioned to direct air into the blower inlet. The housing includes a first outlet from the chamber to the exterior environment, and a second outlet from the chamber to the exterior environment. The first outlet is positioned to direct air across the first sensor window, and the second outlet is positioned to direct air across the second sensor window.
CLOTH ACCESSORY
A cloth accessory and methods for the use thereof are disclosed and described. In one aspect, the cloth accessory may include a cover member forming an enclosure with a cavity therein, and a cloth attached to the cover member. The cloth may have a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member, and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended substantially out of the cover member without becoming detached there from.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VEHICLE CAMERA OBSTRUCTION DETECTION
A system such as an autonomous vehicle’s perception system will identify and classify an obstruction in a field of view of an image capturing device. The system will receive a sequence of image frames from the image capturing device. For each of the image frames, the system will segment the image frame into a regions of interest (ROIs), and the system will use a classifier to assign a classification to each ROI. The classification indicates whether the ROI is clear or obstructed. The system will aggregate the classifications for each ROI to determine an aggregate classification. When an obstructed classification persists for a threshold number of image frames, the system will classify the image capturing device as obstructed, and it will generate a function request that, when executed, will cause a system of which the image capturing device is a component to perform a function.
Pre-Saturated Disinfecting Disposable Microfiber Wipes
A pre-saturated disposable disinfecting wipe may include a microfiber cloth. The microfiber cloth may include a low weight substrate having a first face and an opposed second face, and microfiber yarn attached to the low weight substrate in a plurality of parallel rows of stitches. The pre-saturated disposable disinfecting wipe further includes a disinfecting formulation saturated in the microfiber cloth. The pre-saturated disposable disinfecting wipe may have a single-touch two-minute wetness coverage of more than 100 in.sup.2. A method of manufacturing a pre-saturated disposable disinfecting wipe may include saturating, with a disinfecting formulation, a microfiber cloth.
Hydroentangled airlaid web and products obtained therefrom
A water disposable nonwoven web having good MD and CD strength is provided. The nonwoven web is obtained by hydroentangling an airlaid web of no less than 50% by weight of natural cellulose fibers having a fiber length of no more than 3.5 mm and no more than 50% by weight staple fibers having a fiber length of no less than 8.0 mm. The nonwoven web contains no adhesive, binder or thermal bonding fibers. Products containing the disposable nonwoven web meet municipal guidelines for flushability.
Devices, compositions, and methods for use in surface decontamination
Provided are devices, compositions, and methods for surface disinfection and decontamination; the devices generally adapted to contain a single or multi-component indicator composition, and optionally a disinfectant composition, and to dispense the indicator composition and optional disinfectant composition to a disinfectant solution, a surface, or a disinfectant article upon actuation of the device; also provided is an article of manufacture in the form of a removable cartridge adapted to fit a device described here, which may be pre-filled with a single or multi-component indicator composition as described here, and/or with a disinfectant composition, and one or more optional additives.
Wipes having high sustainable content
A method of preparing a cleaning wipe having a high sustainable polymer content is provided. The cleaning wipe includes a fibrous layer having fibers of a melt spinnable sustainable polymer; and an abrasive layer having meltblown fibers of a melt spinnable sustainable polymer. The abrasive layer defining an outer surface of the cleaning wipe, and includes a plurality of abrasive structures formed thereon in which the abrasive structures are formed from conglomerated fibers, meltblown shot, fibers having average diameters greater than 4 micrometers and fibers having a tortuous geometry. The melt spinnable sustainable polymer content of the cleaning wipe is at least 50 weight % by weight of the cleaning wipe. A method of preparing the cleaning wipe is also provided.
Rechargeable product application system
Various rechargeable product applicator systems are disclosed. The rechargeable product applicator system can include a reusable applicator configured to receive fluid, a canister, and a dispenser. The canister can comprise a distal end, a proximal end, and an intermediate portion. The distal end can comprise an access opening and a lid configured to be opened and closed. The intermediate portion can comprise an internal chamber configured to receive the applicator via the access opening and a fluid via an opening in the proximal end of the canister. The dispenser can be configured to deliver the fluid to the internal chamber of the canister. A distal portion of the dispenser can comprise an opening. The distal portion can be configured to engage with the opening of the proximal end of the canister. A body portion of the dispenser can comprise a reservoir of the fluid.
