The grip is restricted from rotation about the first shaft or the second shaft as the first shaft slides in relation to the second shaft.

The steps of the method for manufacturing the golf putter clubhead include: obtaining or preparing a clubhead body, where the clubhead body includes a clubface, the clubface includes a toe portion, a middle portion, and a heel portion, the toe portion and the heel portion are respectively located at two ends of the clubface, and the middle portion is located between the toe portion and the heel portion; performing stiffening treatment on the clubface; and performing softening treatment on the middle portion after the stiffening treatment. After stiffening treatment is performed on the entire clubhead body, the softening treatment is performed on the middle portion of the clubface, so that stiffness of the toe portion and the heel portion is greater than that of the middle portion of the clubface.

The first portion extends upwards from the top surface of the putter head. The second portion extends from the first portion in a forward direction relative to the putting face and forms a horizontal offset that extends towards the heel end of the putter head. The opening in the socket is configured on the second portion to receive the shaft.

Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a body portion of a golf club head may include a cavity having an opening and an internal structure defined by a wall portion and a base portion. A hosel portion may include an insert portion and a neck portion extending therefrom. The hosel portion may be attached to the body portion by an interference fit between the neck portion and the opening of the cavity. The insert portion may be received inside the cavity and may be spaced apart from the internal structure of the cavity. A space between the insert portion and the internal structure of the cavity may be partially or entirely filled with an adhesive to hold the hosel portion in place. Other examples may be described and claimed.

The hosel fitting includes a reference line and the neck includes a series of angle index lines. The angle of the club face is adjusted by selectively aligning a singled angle index line with the reference line.
