FURNITURE FITTING
A furniture fitting including a carrier having a substantially flat fastening surface configured to be fixed to a furniture part, an actuating portion configured to be moved relative to the carrier, and an adjustment device for adjusting a position of the actuating portion relative to the carrier, with the adjustment device having at least one actuating element rotatable about a rotational axis. The actuating portion can be adjusted relative to the carrier by exerting a torque to the actuating element, and the rotational axis of the actuating element encloses an angle larger than 0° and smaller than 90° to the fastening surface of the carrier. The actuating element is coupled to the actuating portion via an angularly-movable coupling device, and the angularly-movable coupling device preferably comprises a ball joint.
Closing device
A compact, easily mountable door closer, particularly suited for use in cubicles provided in public washrooms, has a pivot member mounted substantially within a hollow body but has a section projecting from the body from which a door is, in use, suspended. A biasing element is provided to bias the pivot member toward a neutral position coincident with the door being closed. As the door and thus the pivot member is displaced away from the closed or neutral position to a defined angle, the biasing element and pivot member engage to provide a limit or fully open position.
A FURNITURE HINGE WITH DAMPING ADJUSTMENT
The present invention relates to a furniture hinge that is suited for changing damping course of the furniture door in the closing direction. The inventive furniture hinge comprises; a housing; a hinge arm that is connected to the furniture door from the one end and connected to said housing in an axially rotatable manner from the other end by means of a first rotating pin; a power unit having at least one spring that creates force on said hinge arm, and that is connected between a lever arm that is capable of accommodating a power adjustment thereon and a third rotating pin in an axially rotatable manner; a movement arm that is connected to said hinge arm from one end in an axially rotatable manner, that is connected to said lever arm from the other end in an axially rotatable manner, and that enables the power transmission between said power unit and hinge arm; a damping element located on said lever arm for damping the furniture door that is being closed over the furniture body; and a damping adjustment on said lever arm for the purpose of changing the position of a cylinder belonging to the damping element with respect to the lever arm.
FURNITURE HINGE FOR UPWARD-OPENING CABINET DOORS
The present invention determines the final opening position of the furniture door in the upward direction by means of the furniture hinge comprising an opening angle adjustment thereon. Said furniture hinge comprises a housing; a hinge arm connected axially to the furniture door from its one end and to said housing from the other end by means of a first rotating pin; a power unit that is connected axially between a lever arm and a third rotating pin and that comprises at least one spring forming a force on the hinge arm; a movement arm that is connected axially to said hinge arm from its one end and connected axially to said lever arm from the other end and that ensures the force transmission between said force unit and hinge arm; and an opening angle adjustment that allows for determining the final opening position of the furniture door in the upward direction, has an adjustment element in an axially rotatable and a damper thereon and comprises a body that may move linearly by means of the axial rotation of said adjustment element.
Hinge
A hinge including: a first leaf assembly accommodating a portion of a first panel having a first cut-out section, the first leaf assembly including a first insert component which is tight fittingly receivable within the first cut-out section; a second leaf assembly, hingedly coupled to the first leaf assembly, for accommodating a portion of a second panel having a second cut-out section; one or more biasing components to bias the hinge toward a closed position; and a dampener to slow movement of the first and second leaf assemblies to the closed position, a first portion of the dampener is located within the first insert component and a second portion is configured to at least partially retract within the first insert component when coming into contact with the second leaf assembly during movement, a second portion of the dampener extends and retracts along an axis coplanar with the first panel.
DOOR CLOSER ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM
Certain embodiments relate to an adjustment indicator mechanism for a door closer including a tubular portion and an adjustment screw mounted to the tubular portion. A housing is configured for mounting to the door closer, and includes a channel and indicia adjacent the channel, each of the indicia corresponding to a respective size of the door closer. An adjustment transmission includes a first component configured for coupling with the adjustment screw. An indicator transmission is engaged with the adjustment transmission and mounted in the housing. An indicator is movably mounted to the housing such that a portion of the indicator is visible via the channel. The indicator is engaged with the indicator transmission such that movement of the indicator transmission causes the indicator to selectively align with the indicia to thereby indicate the current size of the door closer.
HINGE
A hinge including: a first leaf assembly accommodating a portion of a first panel having a first cut-out section, the first leaf assembly including a first insert component which is tight fittingly receivable within the first cut-out section; a second leaf assembly, hingedly coupled to the first leaf assembly, for accommodating a portion of a second panel having a second cut-out section; a spring operatively coupled to the first and second leaf assemblies to bias the hinge to move from an open position to a closed position; and a dampener to dampen movement of the hinge from the open position to the closed position, wherein said longitudinal dampener axis is disposed between and substantially parallel with planes defined by respective opposing faces of the first panel.
Swing Door Operator with Offset Spring
A swing door operator having a powered driver operable to manipulate a drive unit that rotates a spindle to open a door. As the door is opened, the drive unit compresses a spring engaged with a spring mount that is pivotally connected to the drive unit. The spring mount is pivotable between an operating configuration in which the spring is arranged to be compressed by the drive unit as spindle rotates in the first direction and to expand thereafter to rotate the spindle in a second direction opposite the first direction, and a servicing configuration in which the spring is slidably removable from the spring mount.
Sliding door fitting
The invention relates to a sliding door fitting comprising a carriage, which is guided on a guide rail and which is connected to a housing of a retraction device in an articulated manner, wherein the retraction device has at least one, preferably two driver elements, which can be moved along guide tracks and which are spaced apart, the one or more driver elements being preloaded into a retraction position by means of at least one force accumulator, wherein the housing of the retraction device is preloaded in a direction rotation relative to the carriage.
Door hinge and storage unit including such a door hinge
A hinge for a door of a storage unit and a method of repairing a storage unit that includes a pivotable door. The hinge including a first bracket and a second bracket. The hinge further including a linking mechanism for coupling the second bracket to the first bracket so that the second bracket is able to translate and rotate relative to the first bracket, wherein a maximum amount of rotation of the second bracket relative to the first bracket is not determined solely by operation of the linking mechanism.
