A work vehicle includes: a chassis; a first axle carried by the chassis; a pair of first wheels rotatably coupled to the first axle; a first weight sensor associated with the first axle and configured to output a first weight signal; a second axle carried by the chassis; a pair of second wheels rotatably coupled to the second axle; a second weight sensor associated with the second axle and configured to output a second weight signal; and a controller operatively coupled to the first and second weight sensors. The controller is configured to: receive the first and second weight signals; determine a weight distribution of the work vehicle based on the received first and second weight signals; analyze the determined weight distribution to determine at least one recommended operating parameter; and output a recommendation signal based on the at least one recommended operating parameter.

A vehicle interior component configured to provide a user interface for vehicle systems is disclosed. The component may provide a user interface for a vehicle occupant. The component may comprise a composite structure to provide the user interface comprising a cover providing an exterior surface, a sensor, light panel, absorber panel and/or decorative material. The light panel may provide output visible at the exterior surface; the decorative layer and/or absorber panel may provide a visual effect. The cover may comprise a light-transmissive cover; illumination from a display may comprise visible light transmitted through a functional layer and through an at least partially translucent cover. The component may comprise a light panel to provide output visible at the cover exterior surface. A method of operating the user interface provided by the composite structure is also disclosed. The user interface may be coupled to a control system.

An ambient lighting system for automobiles configured to illuminate a passenger compartment, comprises: an optical system in turn comprising: a plurality of RGB LED light sources; a structural support on which the light sources are placed; and a contact surface on which a user can interact, and through which light rays can exit. The ambient lighting system also includes: a control unit configured to control the RGB LED light sources in order to present light animations; and a touch sensor configured to detect touch of the contact surface in a defined region, which is configured to define, along the optical system at least one soft key. The ambient lighting system further includes: a voice command recognition system electronically connected to the control unit and configured to recognize voice commands; and a projector configured to project an image, such as a symbol and/or logo, on the contact surface.

The invention relates to a method and a device for activating a function subject to authorization in a vehicle comprising a system of digital rear-view mirrors with at least a first touch screen, arranged on the driver's side, and a second touch screen arranged on the front passenger side. Said vehicle comprises members suitable for providing at least one function subject to authorization. Said method comprises the following steps:—detection, by one of said members, of an action by a person that requires the activation of a function subject to authorization;—transmission, from said member to the system of digital rear-view mirrors, of information relating to said detection;—receipt, from said system of digital rear-view mirrors, of the information relating to said detection originating from said member,—display, on one of said touch screens, of a notification comprising said function subject to authorization, and; an interaction zone suitable for receiving either an agreement or a refusal from the driver and/or the front passenger.
ARRANGEMENT FOR A PASSENGER COMPARTMENT OF A VEHICLE
An apparatus for a passenger compartment of a vehicle includes a display panel having an external portion and an internal portion. The passenger compartment is delimited by paneling to separate the passenger compartment from a region outside of the passenger compartment. The internal portion of the display panel is in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The external portion of the display panel, separated from the passenger compartment by the paneling, is in the region outside of the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The external portion of the display panel is to generate an external display content inside of the region. The apparatus includes a strip in a first opening of the paneling. The strip is to project the external display content of the external portion of the display panel out of the region that is separated from the passenger compartment by the paneling and into the passenger compartment.

Operating unit for a vehicle
The invention relates to an operating unit for a vehicle, provided with an operating element (12) having an operating interface (14) with multiple symbol fields (16), to which are assigned operating functions that can be triggered with the actuation of the operating element (12). The operating element (12) is arranged on a support structure (18) such that it can be pressed down in a resettable manner and by means of an actuation object, in particular by means of the finger of a hand. The operating unit (10) is also provided with a mechanical switch (22) which can be actuated when pressing down the operating element (12), a controllable press-down force threshold switching device (34) for switching the force to be overcome to press down the operating element (12) between a first threshold value and a second threshold value that is smaller in comparison to the first threshold value, an actuation sensor system (30) for detecting whether, when the operating element (12) is actuated, the actuation object contacts same within one of the symbol fields (16) of the operating interface (14), and an evaluation and control unit (32) which receives signals from the actuation sensor system (30) or, inter alia, from the actuation sensor system (30), and which only causes the press-down force threshold switching device (34) or, inter alia, the press-down force threshold switching device (34) to switch from the first threshold value to the second threshold value by changing its control, when the actuation object within one of the symbol fields is in contact with the operating interface (14) within one of the symbol fields (16) with an actuation of the operating element (12). An electromagnet or permanent holding electromagnet (40) is used as the press-down force threshold switching device (34).
