The FCC catalyst composition comprises Y type zeolite, silicon oxide, alumina, at least one clay, at least one rare earth metal, and at least one metal oxide. The FCC catalyst composition of the present disclosure provides improved yields of high value gasoline such as propylene and LPG and reduces yields of low value hydrocarbons such as CSO and LCO.

CERIUM-ZIRCONIUM-ALUMINUM-BASED COMPOSITE MATERIAL, CGPF CATALYST AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR

A cerium-zirconium-aluminum-based composite material, a cGPF catalyst and a preparation method thereof are provided. The cerium-zirconium-aluminum-based composite material adopts a stepwise precipitation method, firstly preparing an aluminum-based pre-treated material, then coprecipitating the aluminum-based pre-treated material with zirconium and cerium sol, and finally roasting at high temperature to obtain the cerium-zirconium-aluminum-based composite material. The cerium-zirconium-aluminum-based composite material has better compactness and higher density, and when it is used in cGPF catalyst, it occupies a smaller volume of pores on the catalyst carrier, such that cGPF catalyst has lower back pressure and better ash accumulation resistance, which is beneficial to large-scale application of cGPF catalyst.

The present invention relates to a calcined medium, in particular a catalyst or a catalyst medium or an adsorbent/absorbent mass, in particular in the form of extrudates, pellets, granules or beads, the medium comprising a porous matrix comprising carbonates, clays, zeolites, oxides, or metal and/or silicon hydroxides, and the matrix incorporating hollow mineral microspheres having a different composition in a content of between 0.3 and 50% by weight, in particular between 0.5 and 15% by weight, of the matrix.

Process for the commercial production of high-quality catalyst materials

The present invention describes an improved process for the commercial scale production of high-quality catalyst materials. These improved processes allow for production of catalysts that have very consistent batch to batch property and performance variations. In addition these improved processes allow for minimal production losses (by dramatically reducing the production of fines or small materials as part of the production process). The improved process involves multiple steps and uses calcining ovens that allow for precisely control temperature increases where the catalyst is homogenously heated. The calcining gas is released into a separate heating chamber, which contains the recirculation fan and the heat source. Catalysts that may be produced using this improved process include but are not limited to catlaysts that promote CO hydrogenation, reforming catalysts, Fischer Tropsch Catalysts, Greyrock GreyCat™ catalysts, catalysts that homologate methanol, catalysts that promote hydrogenation of carbon compounds, and other catalysts used in industry.

EXTRUDED HONEYCOMB CATALYST

Disclosed are an extruded honeycomb catalyst, a process for preparing the catalyst, a method for reducing NOx in the exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine by using the catalyst, and a method for treatment of the emission gas generated from power plant comprising exposing the emission gas to the catalyst.

Fluid catalytic cracking of petroleum oil with reduced emissions

A method for fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) of petroleum oil feedstock includes reacting the petroleum oil feedstock with a catalyst mixture in a reaction zone of an FCC unit to obtain a product stream including desulfurized hydrocarbon product, unreacted petroleum oil feedstock, and spent catalyst. During the reacting a process control system develops a process model based on data collected during the reacting, the process model characterizing a relationship among the feed rate of the base cracking catalyst, the feed rate of the FCC additive, the operating conditions, the composition of the product stream, and emissions from the reaction; and one or more of (i) a target feed rate of the base cracking catalyst, (ii) a target feed rate of the FCC additive, and (iii) one or more target operating conditions of the reaction in the reaction zone to reduce the emissions from the FCC unit and to increase a yield of the desulfurized hydrocarbon product in the product stream are determined.

The invention relates to a method for producing a pellet, in particular for a catalytic convertor and/or static mixer. The method comprises a trimming and/or deforming of at least one layer of metal foam material into a pellet shape.

Catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation, method of preparing catalyst, and method of performing oxidative dehydrogenation using catalyst

Provided is a catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation, a method of preparing the catalyst, and a method of performing oxidative dehydrogenation using the catalyst. The catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation has improved durability and fillability by including a porous support coated with a metal oxide (AB.sub.2O.sub.4) according to Equation 1:
X wt %+Y wt %=100 wt %,  <Equation 1> wherein X is a content of AB.sub.2O.sub.4 and is 5 or more and less than 30, and Y is a content of the porous support and is more than 70 and 95 or less,
wherein the metal oxide exhibits activity during oxidative dehydrogenation. Therefore, when the catalyst is used in oxidative dehydrogenation of butene, the conversion rate of butene and the selectivity and yield of butadiene may be greatly improved.
